I sold a boat that had to be shipped to south Florida. I used Citizenshipper and the sipper name was JP's Hauling and transport, He arrived 2 hours late in a crappy, old pickup. He ran out of gas two hours from the destination and the buyer met him just in time. A tow truck was there ready to tow the truck and the boat away. Buyer towed the boat home and discovered that the boat cover and depth finder were missing. 8 gallons of gas were also missing from the boat. My opinion, find another company!

TailEx was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. They always responded promptly and the communication from the initial inquiry through delivery was incredible. I will be using them for any pet transportation needs I have in the future.
I booked through Citizenshipper to ship a pair of speakers from mid west to east coast via West Coast Sunset Service (Sarah Smith). I consulted with Citizenshipper when Sarah Smith asked for 50% upfront and they said it is okay to do so. When she was late for 2 weeks and finally picked up the speakers, she asked for another 25% which I paid. Since then, she never updated me the delivery date and refused to respond on ETA or her current route. When confronted, she threatened to put my speakers in storage and put a lien on it (really, do you know what a lien is for). I gave her the benefits of doubts that she may deliver eventually. Eventually, is another 4 weeks and no updates. I'll file charges against her mid December. Stay away.
I had never bought a dog out of my area before so this is my first experience. I found a puppy for my family that was in Florida, we live in California. I found citizen shipper online and booked a transport. The puppy I bought was 9 weeks old and 2 pounds. She was cleared for health with a vet certificate and a healthy weight when she left. When she arrived she was soiled and very thin, so thin her hip bones were showing. I took her in and washed her and fed her. She was very hungry. She died about 8 hours after arriving right in front of my 3 young children. Citizen shipper had me send pictures and communications just to deny me any reimbursement because I didn't get a postmortem report. I was left with 3 broken hearted boys, out $1,200 and no puppy. I couldn't believe they didn't even offer half in good faith.

We do screen drivers and do our best to make sure they employ best practices when transporting animals. I see that our Customer Support team did a thorough investigation to get to the facts of the matter and that your Pet Protection Plan criteria were not met so your costs could not be covered.
Wonderful people they stayed in contact the whole way. With pics and updates. I highly recommend these people. Samantha and her husband talked to me on the phone and my girl arrived calm clean and well taken care of. And their vehicle was clean and no smells. SUPER AWESOME TRANSPORT. Will highly recommend them to anyone. And I watched on GPS the whole trip I knew where they was at all times. Thanks again Samantha GREAT JOB!
Website connected me to a furniture mover and pet transporter. Both had great reviews and deserved the praise. I doubt I would have found the referrals otherwise. My only complaint is that the referral fee charged by Citizenshipper is not advertised and was steep.
Jayjettpaws, was very professional. I was very nervous. I had never used a fur nanny service before. Jay made the transaction comfortable. He kept in touch with me every step of the way. He was courteous, professional and caring not to mention affordable. Thank you Jay for bringing our fur baby home
Howard from Citizenshipper was excellent. He transported my Persian cat with his Toyota from San Francisco. He delivered him to our hotel at exact time. My cat was rested and happy. I recommend him.
Tim is a liar and a thief
Tim agreed Take my two Rottweilers to Lebanon Oregon along with two crates 50+ pounds of food and a box of toys food bowls an AKC paperwork…. 50 foot chain and a 25 foot chain…
Upon arrival the dogs were delivered to my sons in Lebanon Oregon but the chains and a basketball and a football and all the dog food did not get delivered and when I called TimAnd informed him and ask him what happened he told me he thinks he lost the toys and a hotel room and he said he threw the dog food away because he was allergic to it… Tim owes me $100 for all the stuff that did not get delivered and what gets me the most is that I stayed in communication the whole trip of my dogs going to my sons and he did not inform me of any of this until I called him and confronted him after learning that stuff was not delivered for me that is very bad credibility and not trust worthy And I do not recommend Nor will I ever use his service again he is a liar and a thief.
On top of all this I don't think the citizen group that Tim uses to gain business knew he was taking my dogs all the way to Lebanon Oregon from Missouri…Hopefully this will be discovered and Tim will be banned from doing this to anyone else.

I’m sorry to hear about this frustrating experience with one of the drivers on our platform. We do background check each driver before we allow them to accept any shipments, but the background doesn’t catch everything that could be problematic. That’s why we have customers review their drivers so new customers can make an informed decision. I appreciate that your items were valuable to you and should have arrived along with your dogs, and it is unacceptable for a driver to do this. Unless you made an arrangement outside of our platform with the driver, the trip is visible on our platform. We suggest that customer always use the platform for communication so there is evidence if something doesn’t go right, that gives us more leverage to assist. This is a followup to my previous review. Citizen Shipper acknowledges that they do not accept ANY responsibility for the transaction, and ONLY offer to refund their fee. SO BEWARE. I am still out about $5000 for stolen merchandise, and Citizen Shopper has no information to share. AND DESPITE Their response to my other review, they have not refunded anything.

I’m sorry you have had a less-than-stellar experience with a driver you hired through our platform. Occasionally things just don’t happen the way we expect, and we try our best to support each customer and each driver when unexpected situations occur. Our customer support team works business hours and weekends to provide outstanding troubleshooting. It is rare to see or hear a complaint of lack of responsiveness. I assure you, customer support takes service very seriously. More to the point of your review, however, it states very clearly that we are responsible for refunding the fee you pay to us in a case in which a driver refuses or otherwise cannot do the delivery as contracted. You, as the buyer, are paying the shipper directly for the service. It does not go through us, we do not receive any part of what you pay to the driver, which is why we recommend paying via refundable services like Venmo or Paypal in the case of a dispute, the payment can be charged-back. As far as insurance, we do not make any guarantees aside from the refund because we don’t employ the drivers. I hope this clarifies the situation for you and anyone reading this. CitizenShipper clearly lays out what we are responsible for and what we can do. What we CAN do in this situation if you decide to prosecute the driver is to give you the information you will need to engage the authorities to get your property back.
