After careful review of many potential shippers we decided on Mark. From the get go he was easy to work with, informative, sent videos of our pupper on the road and delivered Rebel a day ahead of schedule. The fact that he requires payment at the time of delivery was a tip off. A confident, dog loving transport I'd recommend to anyone.
This company allows scam artist, criminals and trafficking rings to become drivers. My puppy was supposed to be transported from Florida to California. She was picked up on July 17th by the transport company. I received one video 4hrs after pickup of my puppy and then all communication was terminated after calls and text messages. I notified citizenshipper that their driver was not responding and they said they would look into it. On the afternoon of July 19th the transport finally contacted me and stated that my puppy along with 2 other puppies had been stolen out of their vehicle. They stated they rented a hotel that didn't allow pets in so they left the pups in the car alone over night. I have found they lied about the hotel, the police report they filed contradicts the story they told me. Citizenshipper basically said sorry for your loss and talk to the transporter who has since disconnected their phones. He went from a loving retired veteran to he has nothing to do with transports the last time we spoke.
Unexpectedly the need to transport 2 dogs came up. I had no idea how to arrange this so of course I googled it. CitizenShipper popped right up and I'm so pleased it did. It was easy to post my trip and right away I began receiving contacts and estimates (~40). The very last estimate was just what I was wanting. So I booked her. She delivered the dogs today. Things couldn't have gone better or smoother. The dogs were very well-cared for and we were kept informed through texts, pictures and GPS. This was a big help in easing some of our anxiety. In the future if the need arises again I would not hesitate to use CitizenShipper (and hopefully the same driver).
I had a very easy and successful experience through this site. I was looking to transport a bunny on very short notice. I had several bids on the transport, all were kind and friendly. I went with Megan Anderson and she was stellar! I was kept up to date on all progress and changes. There were several, fires and detours and all that. She navigated these situations very well. My bunny was excellently looked after and cames straight to us even though it was late. Megan even took the time to walk us through the payment process. She was really wonderful.
The site is easy to use and you quickly get responses to your inquiry. I used them fir puppy transport and was able to find a great person at a very reasonable price. Will definitely use them again!
In search of a way to transport our new addition to the family. I was most concerned for the well being of the puppy, and a better experience then the traditional way. The pet is shipped and maintained in a warehouse as cargo, the fumes the noise and warehouse dust places a huge stress on the little ones. Citizen shipper provide a simpler, stress free, and trusted platform to find a pet nanny that would deliver our new bundle of joy. I would recommend and use it again.
I stumbled upon Citizen Shipper in a last minute panic when another transporter (NOT booked through Citizen Shipper) canceled on me less than 24 hours from scheduled pick up. I registered with Citizen Shipper; it, seriously, took less than 2 minutes. Literally, withing 5 five minutes of posting my ad looking for a transporter, I had 4 bids. I was able to get my shipper booked quickly and with confidence, knowing that I was protected should anything happen (like another last minute cancelation). Thankfully, everything went so super smoothly! I can't thank Citizen Shipper enough for connecting me with the right people for the job right away! Thank you!
What a great service! I simply post what I need shipped and within moments I have bids! I was able to have durable medical equipment that was cost prohibitive to ship via all the usual: UPS, FEDEX etc, shipped at an affordable price.
My experience was top notch. Chris, my "citizen shipper," was a dream to work with and everything went super smooth. As a retired military family with numerous moves under out belts, we are fully versed in moving household goods. This could not have gone better! I was able to track my shipment real time which was a really nice feature.

Using CitizenShipper to transport my dog from text to Arizona was so easy. I placed an ad and within minutes I received responses (some were just autoreplies) from drivers willing to transport my dog. I gave it a day or two to review all the bids (some bids were 4xs more than what I ended paying!) I was able to message the drivers directly and all questions. When I made my selection I booked them and communicated via direct text to set up the travel schedule. I loved this service!
Lara was amazing she brought me my new pup and stayed in communication with me the whole time. I would recommend her to my friends and family anytime.
I bought a doggie, and was able to get quick, safe and reasonable transport for my newest family member!
If I could give CitizenShipper 50 stars I would. I moved across the country and was able to find an incredible business to move our 5 cats. We were nervous to have anyone look after our kitties, but Basil and Jack were so kind, and accommodating and most importantly they kept the cats safe and comfortable for the long journey. Because of CitizenShipper a huge weight was lived off our shoulders! We will use this website if we ever need anything transported again!
Not only was my money STOLEN, which is obviously why they are so persistent on paying half/full up front, my dog is GONE! A HUGE part of mine and my son's life! And they're ONLY response is to give you a credit for part of the money stolen TO ONLY USE ON THEIR SCAM SITE. Are you f***king kidding me? I just lost my dog and my money and y'all want me to just... have a credit THAT I CAN NO LONGER USE.
People, if you love your pets, FIND ANOTHER WAY! I pray to GOD NOBODY EVER HAS TO FEEL THIS AND EXPERIENCE SUCH LOSS.

Citizen Shipper left me and my pets stranded 24 hours before pick-up time.
I scheduled my animals to be picked up and brought to Florida 2 weeks in advance. THE DAY BEFORE PICK UP I get a text from my driver whom I have never even spoken to, and she changed the entire route and timeframe of the shipment. She also added: oh... and there will now be an overnight stay in SC> HUH? WHAT?
And when I expressed my deep dissatisfaction with thie renegotiation, my driver simply redly cancelled and... here I am getting ready to drive to Florida myself.
THIS IS A VERY UNBPROFESSIONAL AND HALF WITTED COMPANY. Managemnet was no help at all when I called seeking assistance they said "go on citizen shipper and find another driver" YEAH RIGHT! And get bit again? I think not. I will either drive myself or call another shipper who cares about customers and has the ability to run a company and not disappoint (nice word for screw) their customers,

Citizens Shippers referral to Pup Protectors Pet Transport failed to protect my pet. The first night this transporter LOST our dog in the middle of the desert!

I see from the correspondence between support and yourself that we provided all of the information we were legally able to provide to assist in your case against the independent contractor that was hired to deliver Annabelle. As you were informed, Pup Protectors has been permanently banned from using our platform, and if you posted a factual review, it would have shown up on their account if they were still allowed to transport. CitizenShipper did everything we could to assist you, and we are very sorry for your loss. We know nothing can replace the love of a dog but I can assure you that we do all that we can to make sure drivers are verified with all legally available checks.
This company repeatedly "transported " pets that mysteriously die. Why is that? Oh wait because the 3rd party companies SELL the pets and claim they died. Well guess what?! I have amazing lawyers who are working their magic right now. Fireworks are coming

I can understand your frustration with the fact that on occasion pets die during transport. I would be heartbroken if my pup was in that situation and would do everything in my power to punish the people who let it happen. The fact of the matter is that CitizenShipper is a marketplace, the same as craigslist, and while we allow drivers to bid on your listed shipment, once you have agreed to book them it is out of our control. We have safeguards in place, such as background checks and ID Verification as well as Pet Travel insurance, but no one can predict or prepare for every situation. Luckily these occurrences are rare, but if you are able to verify that a pet reported dead is showing up for sale, we would be very interested in obtaining that information as we like to improve safety and performance in every aspect of our business. They took my damn money and I've never received my Maltipoo puppy. They required a 30 minute therapy session for the puppy before final delivery which was about $980. I can't get a reach of the owner as well so now I've wasted my time and ALL my money on that $#*!.

In cases of driver misbehavior we are allowed to take some steps but if you don’t contact us, we can’t help.
