Great stay

I enjoyed my stay, David was very helpful during my check in. Only negatives, a pill was on the floor in my room and my 2 year old found it, the floor is very dirty and doesn't seem to have been shampooed in a very long time. And the room doesn't have a refrigerator or or microwave. Which is something I know they are working on. All staff was very helpful and friendly regardless of the few things that need some attention.

They frequently have promotions advertising if you meet certain criteria you will get one free night's stay. That is deceptive at best. I more than met at least one of the promotions--staying longer at each place than the minimum required. I got 5000 bonus points. The minimum required for one free night is 8000 points. Most require well in excess of 10,000 points. Thank you Choice for this promotion. It did not get me a free night. It got me at best 5/8 of a free night and likely far less.

Exceptional Guest

I stayed at the Comfort Inn located at 8801 Loch Raven Blvd Towson, MD *******. Mr. Nick general. Manager and his staff treated me like family The rates were good. Hotel clean breakfast selection is awesome. I want give the hotel a 10, but there is no option.

On two occasions my credit card was compromised after visiting a Choice Hotel. These people need to forbid their employees to handle customer cards. I have no complaints about their facilities... I just don't want their employees looking at the back of my card.

Should you find a deal on a room at one of their hotels on a 3rd party website, they claim they'll match that price and give you a $50 gift card or something. So you book the room with them instead of taking the deal, and fill out a price match request form & include a link to the better price that they'll review and get back to you on in 48 hours. Well, in 24 - 48 hours, that sale will probably be gone, so by the time they look at the link, the sale is gone, they respond saying they can't find the deal you saw and now you're out the savings you could've had if you just booked at the 3rd party site to begin with.

It's a pretty shady way of convincing people to forgo better deals on 3rd party sites. Lucky for me both choicehotels and the 3rd party site offered free cancellation on the room until the date of the booking. I had a feeling it would work out like this since they would only accept a link to the deal on their price match form and there was no place to include an attachment like a screen shot of the better deal. So I booked rooms with both websites, and will cancel my choicehotels booking since they won't honor their price match guarantee.

It was a wonderful experience. Everything in the room was brand new. Loved the bathroom. I appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was friendly and just downright nice. I would also like to add that the breakfast was wonderful. Tasty and well-organized. We feel lucky to have found this place for our stay in western North Carolina.

Howell A. Quality Inn, Alexander City AL328 9/28/17 We check in on the first floor out run a Roach from under the TV. So we exchange room and when up stair room 204 there were three roaches one came out the bathroom other near by they need to take care of these problem. Trash can were dirty at the bottom.

Stayed at Quality Inn in Chambersburg PA on March 29 2018. Asked for nonsmoking room which we got but smoke seeped through vents into bathroom and was very strong. Had breakfast in a.m. and an hour later my husband became ill as sausage patties were not cooked well. Not a fun drive home. Also window sill had many dead bugs on it. NOT IMPRESSED!

So I am staying at the comfort Inn and the drapes are only for decoration. I can't close them for privacy and I am facing the main street, and I will be dealing with the morning sun waking me in the morning! I can't believe this! Sooo disappointed, upset. This is crazy for a hotel to do, let alone a big name one. Ugh ugh ugh! Choice hotel, really?!

I recently signed up as a Choice Hotels Member for free and reserved 2 nights at 2 different Choice Hotels for a family vacation this summer. I just logged in to plan a trip to Panama City in a few days and realiaed I already earned enough points for 1 free night stay. I can't believe I already have a free night. That's incredible. I have never earned points so fast with any other site. They are awesome.

Quality inn suites Lake City, SC

Worst experience at a hotel dirty, insects all over flow, dirty rag on shower and daughter was bit by a spider multiple times on here legs they gave us a new room and the room was just as bad. Never experienced anything like this ever was very disappointed. I also have plenty of pictures as well.

I was working hard and styed at many locations to earn the staus of Diamond member. I was getting ready to use my hard earned points for m family vacation. When i called in they told me that i have (0) Point. WTH guys you just took my points and my staus. I m am happy to let others know how mest up you guys are and I alwasy tell my story that i will never use you guys ever agin.

My husband and I are in our 70's. We stayed at the Quality Inn in Tarpon Springs, Fla. On Wed Feb 6,2019. We arrived to find that the hotel was undergoing "renovations". We had to walk down a long hallway where all the carpeting had been ripped out. There was dust and dirt everywhere! We had to try to jump over freshly applied concrete patches just to get to the room. I coughed for almost an hour after inhaling this crap. We believe the hotel should have let us know ahead of time what we were getting into. For health reasons if nothing else. Tried calling the Choice customer service, but they just blew me off! Really?

Quality Inn Bensalem PA was filthy and had bugs. Manager was "not in". Customer service offered points but you can't use them. Put on hold for over an hour. Stay away from Choice Hotels. Too many competitors.

Not again
April 8, 2022

So my wife is riding in a car that is rear-ended on 4/6 and experiences back pain. As a stage 4 cancer survivor, she is no stranger to pain. She goes for a PT eval on 4/7. They recommend 30 days of treatment. In the afternoon, the pain worsens. So, she doesn't want to fly from DC to Nashville, nor drive from Baltimore to the DC airport. We're beyond refund time for out stay starting on 4/8, but we try. Choice says they will consider. THEN THEY TRANSFER HER to bluegreen vacations promotions. (Check out these guys, if you haven't.) She agrees to sign up for this questionable offer. Then they reward us by denying our initial request. Think I'll ever use Choice or their card again? (I pay my bills and don't carry a balance.) I'm fairly certain it won't happen. And if I can spread the word about your treatment, I will.

Booked at a Clarion thru Priceline. $ 137.00 dump.
Requested nonsmoking. The smoking room Oder to where I was assigned a room was so bad, I had to sleep with a mask to try to fall asleep. Could not change rooms.
No sprinkler system or smoke detector….Is that even legal?
Children running loudly in the halls til 3 in the AM. No security.
Mattress had a major dip in it. Breakfast was. Old food in a paper sack.
Requested financial compensation from the hotel (Clarion), the mother company (Choice) to no avail.
Priceline offered 15% off the next stay at a contracted dump after several phone calls.

Never will use this company again.
Dirt bag operation.

Confusing bait and switch policies, no helpful customer service after repeated phone calls, no supervisor available to solve my issue when the website did not honor the coupon code they promoted... its not worth the headache to try booking with them again.
One of my favorite hotels is in their network, but I only book through the hotel desk and never through this service. SOO frustrating

Bait and Switch

I selected one star, if a thumbs down or red flag was available I'd chose it. I was told by an agent that no payment was due until time of check in. Woke this morning, and guess what? It is pending on my account, and it can not be refunded, well, lucky me, my bank won't honor it.

No refund

Choice will not give you a refund no matter what your situation is. I wish I saw these reviews before I booked. I had to cancel an entire trip because of an unexpected financial reason and they were not sympathetic. I'm now out $200 during a time I desperately need it back. Now there's going to be an empty room sitting there on a night it will be very easy to fill up. The hotel is right next to a huge sporting event that's happening that night. These people are thieves.

Treated like a thief

I never write reviews but this one is necessary. We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Regina this month. When I received my credit card statement there was an extra $25 charge. I called the hotel to inquire. They said we stole a pillow. We did not. I said there must have been a mix up in housekeeping. She basically said no you stole it, we will take the charge off your card but if your ever staying in Saskatoon again you are not allowed to stay here. I'm mind blown. Count your pillows when you arrive and when you leave because you just might be treated like a thief if you don't. I won't stay at any comfort inn again. The rooms are dingy and disgusting. The only thing this place had going for it was a patio door.
