Last month a person there was helping me and he went in and took $372 I told him not to put it back in he said he would he just had to do that. He has never out it back in. I called the day after it was done and filed a complaint. I gave them his name, phone number and email. They said they could not do anything about it. I called them today and they want to get in my acct again to fix something and I told him he did not need to go in the acct and he hung up on me.
I have had chime for 2 years never had an issue. Then my credit said chime was reporting 21.00 negative. Decreased my account by 4 points. I called got hung up on 3 times. 4th time I repeated how much was in my account. Got laughed at was told I should have 1000s in my account. Then the guy said would you $#*! me. I thought it was a mistake since he was not American. I asked him to repeat himself and he said would you $#*! me. I said do you know what you just said he told me he was serious and would add money to my account if I did. I flupped out. Now when I call it says the forwarding mailbox is full. All 4 times it was the same guy just different name.
Chime is horrible. I put cash on their card. Spent $187 at Autozone ended up not needing the part and really needed the money so I returned it the next morning. Autozone ran my card and instantly refunded my money was eve able to purchase something else with part of my refund. So I has $168 refunded back onto my chime card. Try to use the cars and the money isn't on there. Chime tells me it will take 5 business days to appear back on my card. It was my cash. Absolutely ridiculous. CHIME SUCKS. DONT USE THEM. SOFI IS WAY BETTER!
I was with chime it's not a bank I lost my card and I called chime and thay me out of my account and would not let me in my account I had to send them my birth certificate I had to get a new driver license send that to them and everything goes in the meantime I couldn't get into my account someone went online transferred over $1,000 out of my account and time would not give me my money back so if I was anyone out there I will go to a bank that I can go into and not some online bank

I called the chime support number *******363 at 8:49 am spoke to a chime worker. I was trying to start a new account with chime because my ex is using my account with Uber so I'm just trying to protect my money and keep it safe. So I wanted to start a new chime account. The man I spoke to scammed me and stole ALL MY MONEY! They are letting this settle right away and haven't helped with this issue RIGHT AWAY like it should have been. They have someone working for them who is stealing peoples money.
You are better off stashing your money away in a shoe than to think it is safe with Chime! I literally had to transfer my money and change my bank! I had a checking account with these idiots for over 4 yrs before i needed to file a dispute for paying for awful unacceptable services i received. THIS WAS MY FIRST AND ONLY TIME FILING A DISPUTE SO ITS NOT LIKE IM A CROOK AND TRYING TO JUST GET MY MONEY BACK THE SERVICE WAS TRULY TERRIBLE AND I EXPRESSED THIS TO THEM OVER AND OVER. When using download comtacts it downloads people you dont know with the same name and u cant get your money back and they bounce you around for hours and days with no possibility of a resolution
About a month ago, Chime sent me an email requesting certain information about my account. They told me that there were some suspicious activity going on and they needed a response in 5 days or my account might be suspended. At the time I really didn't take it seriously because I had been with Chime for years. Well they did lock me out of my account until I sent them the requested information. So when I did provide the information like driver's license, social security card, utility bill, deposit information, etc. They still didn't unlock my account. When I tried to call, I was still unable to talk to anyone who's actually over my account. The customer service team said that I would have to talk to the Support team but I could only do that by email and it would take another 24 to 48 hours for them to respond. When they did respond it was the same automated email saying I need to send this or that. Now mind you, I have been doing this for almost a month now. They've gotten all the info they needed and I have the emails to prove it and they still haven't released my account. ANYONE who is thinking about opening up an online account with Chime, DON'T! Even if you are currently with Chime, you really need to consider moving your money to another bank before its too late and you end up like me.
My chime account and Google account were hacked 3 years later I want to buy a house and I cannot gain access to my old account because I do not know a street address that my ex changed on my account because she knew that would make it hard to access I give them all my personal information that only I would know sent my pictures of my ID and my social security card I don't know how many times and still I get ran around in the same rotation and circle of things with Promises of returning a call That Never Comes now to talk with an expert of their company they want to charge me $10
CHIME is a JOKE! DO NOT have any affiliations with this scam. First off I applied for the card, They sent my card with my name spelled, a way I didn't even put on my app. Then when I try to activate it they tell me that my account is suspended and I have to send my ID thru email to the online support. I was very skeptical bc this was a true set up on their part. Then I decided to reach out to the email support a person emails me and says their name is "Red" I was like WTH is this? Am I being punked!? This is why I was skeptical about sending them my info. I politely told "Red" no thanks I will find another card company. Then the instructions said for me to put my name and date on a paper and place my ID on that same paper and take a picture blah blah. I said these folks have lost their mind! DO NOT, DO NOT go with CHIME! All these star reviews is a lie! I almost believed the 5 star reviews myself! DO NOT DO IT!
Thought they would be a better alternative to PayPal... Found that they are more on the level of Cash app. They say they can't reverse a transaction that I sent to a friend BUT friend is LOCKED OUT of the account! The reality is NOT that they can't, they WON'T! One is better off depositing one's money in their mattress. At least you can get it out!

Very poor customer service skills and today I tried to withdrawal money from my account it was declined saying insufficient funds so I rechecked my account balance on my phone and I have $409 dollars in my account as I thought at first so I go back and try to withdrawal money out once again and it's still declined but this time that money is showing withdrawn out of my account they said it will take 3 to 5 days to replace my money but this is something that should never happen but since Chime isn't a real bank with a free standing location you can visit it operates how it wants and this is my last time dealing with Chime because they are more of a headache then anything else
I'm having to pay late fees waiting on Chime to release there funds to pay bills, why dose it to so $#*!ing long to release out money, but it takes less then a second when y'all take your money, I'm not trusting Chime and I'm going to close my account because no one can ever help, none of the rep can help, Sorry $#*!
I've never seen so many 4 and 5 star FAKE reviews in my life! Both here AND on other sites! Absolute garbage! Every person I've chatted with online, or people I know have tried Chime and almost ALL have experienced the same problems I've experienced! First off, the people who respond to your live chat or email are in a foreign country! Second, they DO NOT understand the English language very well! HUGE language barrier! Third, Chime's own employees don't even know, let alone comprehend the legal language inside THEIR OWN CARDMEMBER AGREEMENT?!?! ( YOU HAD ONE JOB) They are extremely lazy and completely incompetent! My experience with Chime has been absolutely terrible. I opened an account in January and made an initial deposit of funds. However, when I attempted to log in a couple of days later, I was locked out of my account. When I emailed customer service, they asked me to send them scans of various documents to confirm my identity, such as bills, with scans of envelopes showing my home address. When I repeatedly explained in about 15 email exchanges that I don't receive hard copies of any bills or financial documents, I was eventually ghosted, after I never received a single substance of response actually addressing what I was telling them. Therefore, I sent an email asking to close my account, but nothing has been done after about about 5 more email exchanges, and eventually they ghosted me on this issue as well. My account is still not closed, and they still have my funds. This is outrageous. Do not do business with this company. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and an era when customer service is typically awful.
Answer: Yep! Same here. My entire paycheck was drained, then I filed a dispute and they closed it within hours, denying me of course. Next they decided to close my account out of nowhere, I'm sure bc I wouldn't stop trying to get my money back. I'll be taking this to a lawyer.
