BEWARE: Another fake credit/debit company who are really data brokers. They will steal your information for the purposes of selling it and deny you a debit card/credit card. There is no other reason. Customer service people are rude, disrespectful and condescending. The reps do not know how to do their jobs and if they do they don't do it. Being paid to do nothing at a job is called wage theft. Lots of companies not making any money because people have wised up are now selling people's information. It's in the same vein of collecting up rental application fees and making a ton of money because only one person is going to get the rental and no one get their fee back. Dodged a bullet with this shyster company that has ads every 5 seconds everywhere. Too many ads mean steer clear because they are willing to lose money on ads just to make a few bucks
I have had 3 amortization schedules sent to me in the past 3 year and the principal and interest payments applied each month on auto-pay NEVER match those schedules. You cannot pay extra on principal unless you time it for just a few hours before the autopay processes. Otherwise they apply interest to the extra payment.

They took money after Groupon said they refunded my money back to my account I filed a dispute however they keep denying the claim so they can keep the money do not trust them wee need to start a petition to shut them down
After 8 months of direct deposits with chime I'm still at $20 on the spot me... customer service lies...they reboot your spot me.last month they did and I was boosted 4 times giving me $20. Today,same thing but I received 4 boost and nothing hit...how can you be in the negative with spot me? It's bs... that's what I was told.I had to use my pay and it went to spot me...they bs you thinking you don't know anything... It's better offers out there than this...on my pay,it's just a line of credit and they've always gotten it...they don't give it to you all at once like others...they only dispense out $20 a day...no wonder they were sued...oh, they retaliate too...but 2 can play that.theg think we are just poor ppl that need them... I'm not impressed with Chime. In fact, I regret setting up my direct deposit with them. Transferring money isn't hard. In fact it's fairly easy. As long as the individual on the receiving end accepts the transfer. I was informed that my direct deposits would arrive a little bit early. That's questionable.
Oh yeah, the whole $100 for bringing new people- don't count on that. We've bought 2 new people in which there was always an excuse to why nobody was getting their money. So I don't recommend anyone else at this point.
I honestly don't feel I'm getting what I thought I would. I had better success with my bank. I say that very sadly. I desired more. And I really thought I'd get that. Unfortunately not. I wish nothing but success for all those who strive to secure a good financial institution!

I'll give 2 stars for the simple fact customer support is "adequate" at best. My most recent request to cancel a pending deposit was a positive experience on customer service side. If it wasn't for that I don't think the 2 stars u even gave was "earned"
Chime has devastated me! They transferred my direct deposit out of my account immediately, instead of posting it to my checking. They did this even though I had no due amounts and did not give permission to move my pay. They refuse to credit it back and have not made it available and I have called them 40 times in the past 3 days

I go to use my debit card as a debit card at a local retailer that I have used with my card before! I keep getting declined decline, oops wrong card. Use correct card...declined decline decline, decline, and I'm putting things back to pay under my balance, decline...wtf call Your card was blocked by international use, nope I've used here not international, ok we fixed, you can "try" it again! Nope I've embarrassed myself enough for the evening, you cost me my medicine and I will just pay cash from now on. You have not only upset me and the retail store, it's humiliating to have a situation seem like you're losing your mind? You should be ashamed for making changes without notification. If you can shut my card off you can send me a message or call me before, considering the lack of technology you're using to shut it off!
My roommate and I had our wallets stolen. I called within one hour of realizing this, when our cards were charged at a random Walmart. I have a police report, I called them immediately, got a new card... did everything I was supposed to- and they won't help. However, my roommate just disputed the transaction through the app without an explanation or police report, without any proof whatsoever, and they were helped.

I had literal law enforcement involved and I've fought to reopen the dispute with them 3 times. All three times, it was denied immediately without an investigation- something they are legally required to do.

Chime apparently can't take criticism. I was trying to use them to put money aside to not touch and my deposits from PayPal are nowhere to be seen so I contacted them. One deposit bounced back I guess for different names when they're the same but maybe a blessing in disguise. They obviously didn't solve my issue. I got the survey and was honest and left a negative review. They emailed to say they closed my account after the recent review jokes on them, I closed it already. Now I just hope my money does go back to PayPal.
Have 5 kids and no money for 3 going on 4 days now. Had to put to file something in court. Got charged 2 times for a total of 410.00. Called several times to try and get my money back. They said it can take up to 7 business days. Honestly do not know what I am going to do.

More than 2 months ago I put a dispute in for $50. One transaction of 40 and the other of 10 from same person. After waiting 90 days they only approve the $40 and not the $10. I do not care if it's $10 it should've been returned with the 40. And now I can't get it credited on my account and they want me wait another 90 days. Only do common transactions on chime. They will not refund your full amount and they will make you wait extra long for something simple. And I've been with them over 4 years
I processed a mobile deposit of 2647.24 and was told it would be available in 1-3 business days. After the deposit was accepted they informed me that it would be 7 days, which is not what agreed to. I even received an email stating 1-2 business days. Talk about buyer beware. Poor customer service and questionable practices of holding money. The company referred to a "Chime" accepted a Direct Deposit payment, deposited a referral bonus into my account and then shut off my access to my money.
They claimed I needed to verify my identify, which I did by providing the requested documentation.
I called multiple times and have desperately been trying to find a way to contact someone that won't claim to transfer and then hang up on me. I Haven't been able to get an answer or my money.
Long story short I have decided to investigate Chime from all the mysterious money coming and leaving account, they do not return refunds and lie as if its processed …. You messed with the wrong $#*! lol
I'm incredibly angry I have to even give one star the fact that they boast about early direct deposit is absolute BS when your payday falls on a holiday Your pay gets deposited two days after the intended date while you're waiting to pay bills. Absolutely ridiculous. Don't believe the lies how many holidays fall on a payday think about it it's not worth it.
