A one star is being to kind they don't deserve even this. These are the most deplorable people. They allow unauthorized transactions same amount same weird vendor multiple transactions one after the other. Their dispute process is a joke!
They have no intentions of helping you recoup the money stolen from your account. STAY AWAY from this clown banking!

Documentation for my dispute. They filed my dispute incorrectly and even after 3 agents told me they would fix it my dispute was denied due to "the merchant cannot be contacted because you need to be logged in to an account to speak with them" which is false! The phone number is in bold writing on the apartment complex website. I provided the contact information of my apartment manager as well as a letter from her with her phone number and email along with a ledger from her showing that the money was not received. My $1258. 13 will be returned to me, they will not get away with it.
If you have this card. BEWARE! If u dispute a charge they will send you an email saying they deposited the monies back into your account, as they promised me. Yet, going on 2 weeks there is no refund in my account. And when I inquire, they tell me the dispute processed. It is ridiculous! No help, no support... so if you want to feel protected with your bank... DO NOT CHOOSE CHIME.
I had my money stolen from chime one dispute was handled but for some weird reason they are not try to give me the other half of my money.why should I have to wait when it's clearly fraud! It makes me sick to my stomach to know how that chime is doing nothing to protect the consumer money
Chime is scandalous as other banking institutions they will be included in a lawsuit with the merchant. Chime is not good if you have disputes they don't want to give you back what you spent after getting screwed over.
I talked with a representative for customer service his name was Jerry he was super great very friendly and highly professional im glad chime has someone like him to answer any questions presented to him he deserves a promotion!
Chime sent out new card which was not requested. Now they have my fiance's money and will not turn it a loose to her card. They wonder why our attorney is on their tails. Chime has cheated me out of money as well on several occasions.
I paid full price then got 35% off of that but my understanding was when I pulled all the dresses up they had a sale price so I thought wow! I was going to get 35% off of sale items. What a great offer but not. My pics will show sale item and regular price crossed out
Someone else opened an account under my name and I am getting a welcome email of a successful account. The customer service is definitely offshore, and of no help.
Whoever face this similar situation, report this to the 3 credit bureaus immediately.
Upon opening my account which was great it went very easy but I caught some issues so I called back to tech-support and I asked the operator what the weather was like back there. She had too much info you're right off the bat they're not nice and then I emailed him 47 times last night and not one came back. There's no tech support whatsoever. The whole advertisement is a big fat lie. Their service sucks and I don't have any tech-support so far that's my rating you figure out what should I have one or two stars? Are they O5?
Don't use the credit card builder it is a fraud. I put money on my card then I'm told I'm 220$ negative how I asked no explanation. You can't over draft over a limit my was way over and didn't show on my account a scam. Time for me to find a new bank. 🤔😲😫💔
I use to like chime before I ran into a dispute issue. They lied and told me they were doing a dispute. Just to tell me it was no error I never received products and the website was a scam Chime did nothing to help stay a way from this phony bank
When; I 1st got my chime 2 years ago it was good! But Now! They suck! I've for 6 months emailed called did EVERYTHING to get my # change! I couldn't even get into my account? Like what! Now I call about a refund for $100 from Kroger's 2 weeks ago even had a reference # from Kroger's & got put on hold to be transferred 4 times& to explain everything again! By this time,I'm pissed! No one speaks English anymore!
Have had issues with this company since day one. Hacking on account, information changed, and company allowed transfers to an unknown individual. After going back and forth with company(2 months) to unlock account due to hacking, finally getting account reopened, noticed unknown transfer to some individual. Submitted disputes with screen shots of account being locked, the company kept denying the dispute and I never received my money back. Again account was locked and they still allowed someone to transfer money to themselves. Unbelievable!
They have no problem taking a $207 withdrawal for my settlement paycheck after 3 months of me not working. It went from saying my account was -207 to I was at 0 no negative balance. So I thought it got taken care of! Then all of a sudden I get a direct deposit last night and I wake up to chime taking the 207 off my card! Called to get a refund and like always they never can make anything right! I will NEVER bank with this company ever again! And I am never going to recommend this company to anyone every again! False advertising like always ummm like a $200 overdraft have been with chime for over 4 years now even with my direct deposits it's still $20! I'm done if they could have made it right cool! But they do this shady business all the time and I am not dealing with it anymore!
I will get straight to it. I didnt have any issues with chime until I noticed 2 unauthorized charges on my account totalling $53. One was declined due to low funds thank God so the other for $22 was disputed and I called on a Saturday and they said it would take 10 business days to investigate. In less than 48 hours they had determined that no error was made. There were two options: Get the report they used to investigate or to reopen the dispute up again in which that would take 45 days to respond which is insane. I chose both. These people did no investigating what so ever and they did nothing to help in getting my money back. This company has a pattern of complaints on BBB and a history of stealing people money in the thousands. Do not do business with this company unless you want to take a huge risk.
I have an issue with Sixt car rental. I have a pending transaction that shows on my Chime statement. Chime keeps giving me the runaround. They have been telling me that I will get my money back after 30 days. When the 30 days are up. They tell me that I have to wait 90 days. I will never use Chime or Sixt again!
For the last day and a half I have stood on the phone with Chime for in total over 3 hours. They still have not rectified my problem and have been absolutely NO help. Long story short, I contacted the company myself that took money out of my account without my authorization. Chime in turn, blocked the transaction not allowing the refund to go through. The company told me they would only send me the refund one time and one time only. I called Chime as soon as I saw the transaction get blocked, and I was transferred to 3 people total all saying that they could not help me. To say I'm done with this company is an understatement. I emailed them while I was on the phone asking for help and telling them I was on hold and needed this rectified to which they told me in an email that someone would reach out. Of course they haven't! I'm so upset right now! I hate this company to no end. I would never recommend them. Awful! I guess I'll never get my refund!
Chime is the worst bank ever! They don't work for you to protect you or your earnings. People can steal from you and they'll take almost 2-3 months to settle a dispute and most times they won't even return the funds. This isn't a bank I'd prefer to anyone as you can easily have your whole bank wiped out and they'd do nothing and the reps aren't as helpful and you can barely understand. Could not get my direct deposit off of the Credit Builder Card. I called what I thought was Chime Customer Service. The Rep took $1997.00. They WILL NOT refund my money to me. I am not going to let some stranger have that amount of money! What scares me is that he already had my personal information!
Answer: Yep! Same here. My entire paycheck was drained, then I filed a dispute and they closed it within hours, denying me of course. Next they decided to close my account out of nowhere, I'm sure bc I wouldn't stop trying to get my money back. I'll be taking this to a lawyer.
