STAY AWAY! They fully acknowledged that a "computer glitch" charged my card 10x for a $75 transaction. The result was 10 transactions totaling $750 withdrawn from my bank account. Despite 2 trips back to the store and multiple calls to company mgmt where they promise to credit the $$ back, it's 8 days later and I still haven't received a refund.
I'm a single Mom with bills to pay and in danger of bouncing checks. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!
They use UPS as the shipping carrier. I placed an order on 10/5.
On 10/17, I contacted UPS as the delivery status of my order had not updated. UPS confirmed my order was lost and the rep advised: We have an agreement with the sender that when a UPS Surepost package encounters any issue, they would need to be involved for further resolution."
After being advised by UPS to contact Children's Place, I did. After 15min on hold, a rep for Children's Place answered and told me that although my package had been verified as lost, CP would not begin to process my refund until 10 business days had passed. (We are currently at 9 business days...) I asked why I needed to wait an additional 24 hours since the package has already been confirmed as lost, but was told simply it is company policy.
So now, I have to waste more time calling and sitting on hold again just to begin the refund process. This company has turned into a total joke. I agree with others that there is little to no chance your order will arrive so save your money and shop elsewhere!
The children's place has gone from having nothing really happening online to having an app and a great site in the past while and I love them for it! They have the best sales in the world, which makes me super happy as a mom of four.
The site could have better photography but that only enhanced my experience since some of the tops I had thought were matte for my daughters actually had sparkles! This summer at least they've come out with a really fun, rainbow-ey style that fits my beach-bound kids better than the black and grey (*koff* tiny 50 year old librarian) clothes all the other stores are coming out with right now. These outfits are just so FUN!
I bought NINE OUTFITS at a 50% off sale for $125 CANADIAN DOLLARS! Some of the fabric is really thin and may not last long, but the pants are very good quality and last usually until my kids outgrow them. I mean at this price I could throw them directly in the garbage (I won't though!) after one wear and still get more value for my money than from any other store.
That and their bugs-bunny shipping (it practically got here before I ordered it, in one day not counting the weekend) makes them my favorite place to shop online.
I ordered Christmas items on December 17th paid xtra to have it rush delivered and they still didn't ship out till 6 days later on 23rd called waited on hold to customer service 3 times both times took me waiting on hold 30mins to even talk to anyone was lied to about my order said when they shipped they shipped it one day air I'd get it by Christmas well I didn't and that's not even all it's still not here it won't be here till December 31st and all customer service would do for all the bs is give me $10 never again will I order from crazy 8!
I ordered clothes for my duaghter, I placed my order and it said that my order could not be processed at the moment but it still toke the money away from my bank. I got no confirmation number at my gmail neither HORRIBLE SERVICE!
I WAS PLACING AN ORDER AND IT SAID OPEN AN ACCOUNT AND GET 30% OFF. I OPENED AN ACCOUNT AND DID NOT GET THE DISCOUNT. TOOK ME 1 HOUR AND 45 MINUTES TO GET THROUGH TO THEM BECAUSE THEY KEPT HANGING UP ON ME. FINALLY GOT THROUGH AND SPOKE TO A SUPERVISOR/MANAGER AND SHE SAID THAT THE 30% OFF IS NOT EFFECTIVE UNTIL 72 HOURS AFTER THE ORDER IS SHIPPED AND MAY NOT BE AVAILABE FOR 5-7 DAYS AFTER THAT. SHE TOLD ME TO TAKE THE ORDER BACK TO THE STORE AND GET A REFUND AND THEN REPLACE THE ORDER WHEN I GET THE 30% OFFER. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. DO NOT OPEN A CREDIT CARD AT THIS STORE THEY LIE.
Quality Is very good and the addition of more sizes is just what my growing preteens needed. The adjustable waist are perfect. Prices are very good and they have frequent sales.
I'm trying to get information on my package which delete when I put place my order online and then call the order to make sure that I could get both the packages at the same time I was just sure that but then that didn't happen because it's a gift for my niece I mean for my nephew's got to get ready to leave the country but then when I call the call 7 to get help they so f****** and train animals that you have you need to tame your animals cuz they don't know how to talk to people so yeah I wouldn't buy it from them mad as hell
Do not ever order online. They have the worst customer service ever. I placed an order and realized a few minutes later that they had the wrong shipping address. I immediately called customer service and they REFUSED TO CHANGE THEY SHIPPING ADDRESS. They REFUSED TO CANCEL THE ORDER. The order didn't ship until the following day, so they could have easily changed the shipping address, but they wouldn't. I have never received my order. I called again today, and they REFUSE TO REFUND MY MONEY. They have literally stolen my money.
They don't have any store in NYC and charging for return. Bad customer service! Ridiculous company!

I've never had a problem with Children's Place until recently. I placed an order on October 1,2020 and my total was $103 they shipped three items from the total of 15 items that I purchased. They took $38 out of my account for the the three items that were shipped, but those 3 items didn't even total to $38 it totaled $15 it even said on the return sticker that the total was $15, so I let it slide thinking maybe they'll be sending a couple of more items. They DID NOT, so I get a notification yesterday saying that my other items have shipped and they gave me an online receipt, but the calculations were all wrong everything that I bought was on sale. I don't know if they ended up charging me full price for these items or what, but they charged $61 then another $65 so my total went from $103 to $126 plus the additional $23 they took from the 3 items I received. So basically they scammed me out of $46. Then when I tried to call to settle this problem they're ALWAYS CLOSED, I have no way of contacting them, I can't even find an email address for them. If you plan on shopping here DON'T they have false advertisement. I'm never shopping here again

I ordered Boot& Skirts for my Granddaughter for School, Took forever too get shipped then when it finally said delivered too your locked mail box it was not there.
I ordered one item from the online store. No problem, the shipping info said I would receive the item on Tuesday. This is fine since we ordered on the Friday before. I checked with the shipper and they still have not received the package (today is Thursday). I called customer service and they have no idea where my package is. She said it's still in the warehouse but cant be sure since the warehouse is not at her location. Also, she said i cant do anything till the 10 working days is up. Nothing on the site mentions this or I would have not ordered from here. So now I have to wait till the 25th to call back to see where the package is. This will be 13 business days. Honestly I would not of cared if in the checkout process would have told me this info but they stick to the 2 day shipping until they get your order. Not cool. Christmas is right around the corner and I can only imagine all the mad people calling to see where their stuff is. I glad I only have to go out and purchase a birthday gift since the item will not make it. If I had to replace all my Chirstmas gifts it would suck. BUYER BEWARE - YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR PACKAGE WHEN THEY SAY YOU ARE GOING TO. Poor customer service having to deal with all those mad customers.

They cancel your order without your knowledge and can't even offer up why. If that's not bad enough they take up to 14 days to refund you your money.
