Our american bulldog 9 months old began life with food allergies, our vet placed her on the purina hydrolyzed food, chewy.com had best price, we used the autoship, it is great. We were fortunate enough that our dog outgrew the allergy, however we had received a shipment of the food, we no longer need, never opened the 25lb bag,$89.00 worth. I contacted chewy, not only did they refund my money, but they did not want unopened bag of food, and asked me to keep and donate to a shelter! How awesome is that? So will be heading to the shelter with for some allergy effected pups! My choice for my dogs food forever. Thanks chewy!
Chewy's customer service has really slid downhill. They recently advertised American Journey dog food buy 1 get 1 free. When they only sent one bag I contacted them. They refused to honor their offer and would not send the second bag as advertised. I have ordered from Chewy for years... but not any longer. Poor customer service, false advertising did it for me.
I shopped online and in stores for Frontline for dogs and Chewy.com had the lowest price. Ordering was easy and product was received in about 7 days. Will order from them again.

This company truly stands behind everything that they sell. Last year, my vet told me to switch to a different flea medicine due to my cats health conditions. Then a few weeks ago, he had some cat food cans that had an issue and chewy sent me two new packs due to them being the same lot number (no questions asked). Today, I wrote them to ask if they sold replacement parts for a cat tree I had for about a year that broke, and much to my surprise, I was sent an email sending me one instead for free. They always answer within thirty minutes. Amazing company!

Over the last two to three years I have placed 8 or more orders with them, everything was always in stock and arrived in two days. My order consisted of large package of cat litter, cat litter deodorizer powder, supposed to be 2 packages of cat toys (only received one), large bag of cat food. The bag of litter was sliced open and litter was spilling out into the box covering everything in the box. Since the box wasnt sealed properly, the litter spilled out onto the floor. The litter deodorizer was open and also leaking out and into the box. The bag with the food had remnants of litter on it. So when I opened that bag, it left a pile of litter where I was emptying it into a container. It appears the folks in the warehouse did not properly secure the items and just threw them in a box with paper wrapping! It took me about 45 minutes to clean up the messes that was caused by careless packaging. I am not happy with this company. I felt I would give them a try for convenience and they failed miserably! I will stick to my local Petco and Petsmart! Note: Customer service is sending me replacement items that were damaged or not received. But no pun intended... the damage is already done.
I received flowers from Chewy after I called to return a bag of food because of the loss of sweet dog Brownie! They are the best I had a whole bag of food that was Brownies and they refunded the full purchase price and asked me to donate the food in Brownies honor. My understanding for returns is any item can be returned, even if it has been used you may return it within 1 year of original purchase. Their Custom Service is available 24 hours, 7 days a week. FYI it is a CONSUMERS RESPONSIBILITY to read those policies as the company already knows their own policies. FYI shipping from the USA to Canada cost customs fees and taxes which are NOT refundable and if you chose to return an item you will will incur these fees again and YOU are responsible for paying for them not the company you do business with. International shipping also requires proper documentation to get packages through customs. Not every USA company has the man power to deal with this enormous amount of work nor do they wish to deal with the headaches involved with shipping outside of the USA. How so many of you Canadians do not know this information is mind boggling.
