I had the worst customer service experience in my life with Adoreme.com. I called in November to cancel my account, but when I received an e-mail referring to 'store credit' I was extremely confused. I then realized they had NEVER cancelled my account and had been charging me the "VIP" membership. I called them on February 6th to find out why my account was never cancelled, I was then told they had "no history" of my call or request for cancellation. I was then told that since I called in the 30 days I would be able to get January and February, NOT December, charges back, but I would have to call the next day(since the February charge was going through it would throw up an 'error'). The girl said she would put it in my account that I was to get both months back and that she would cancel my account. I called back THIRTEEN HOURS later and they AGAIN had "no history" of my call, that I could NOT get January back, but only February and my account was NOT set up to be cancelled. I was appalled with the service and the lack of help. It was pretty much a "screw you, have a nice day" move on their part. I will NEVER buy from them again and will NEVER suggest them to anyone.
They also make the "VIP membership" unclear when you are checking out, because I can guarantee I would have never agreed to it. I do not do memberships and would not have willingly chosen that option.
I suggest to anyone who is debating on buying from them to NOT do it. I honestly have never been so angry or appalled with service from any company, ever.

It is certainly not our intention to frustrate shoppers and we are not trying by any means to force customers in a subscription program. The VIP Membership is one of two payment options (the other is Pay As You Go, our one-time purchase option) you select during checkout with your first order. The terms and conditions of membership are stated twice during checkout, once more in membership confirmation, in the two reminder emails and in numerous locations on the site.
Moreover, as mentioned in our Terms and Conditions, here http://www.adoreme.com/terms-conditions, credits resulting from the monthly charge on the 6th are only eligible for a refund up to 30 days past the date of the charge.
