I was booking the flight it gave me the price all the was till credit card info
After payment they took a different amount I canceled the trip and called
Them there manager said that is normal
I told him the info as I entered the credit card was different then when it took the payment
This is normal
So be aware from getting robbed when it is normal

Horrible experience with CheapOair
Horrible experience. Kept me on hold from 1015pm to 2am transferring from one operator to another and supervisor to supervisor. I have a $2300 credit from an earlier cancellation that they will not honour. And it's within the credit expiration date. Citing stupid reasons to refuse. Please never book with them. I remember having to cancel with Expedia during Covid and it was such a smooth experience when I rebooked

A few days after booking 4 passengers multi-flight international round trip, received a return flight schedule change notification e-mail. I contacted cheapoair customer services via chat portal to review the change before accepting it however there was a cancellation/full refund option in case not agree.
It's an hour delay and nothing else " the customer services Rep. Said to me and I accepted the change based on this. A few minutes after our chat, received a new notification e-mail. I noticed one of the return flights is missing when I reviewed the new e-mail. I went back to check with cheapoair chat to check, "the flight is canceled, the customer services Rep. Said. But i never been told that otherwise I would have cancel it and get a refund. It's canceled by the airlines and just wait 24-48 hours for the flight to be
re-instated by the airlines " customer services Rep. Said.
It's over than a week now. I checked again yesterday with customers services to get any update or cancel it and get a refund to plan a head ( inform my kids schools and employer). After getting transferred back and forth between the departments and chatting for around 1-2 hour to explain to them what happened "You just need to wait until we hear back from airlines, it's a non-refundable ticket, it will be consider a voluntarily cancellation and fare rules will apply if you wish to cancel " customer services Rep. Said
I just give a star for the price. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Bought tickets from here, now they keep taking money from our bank account, when we called they have lots of excuses and say that the money taking is for this and that! What a horrible experience everything is a nightmare. If this keeps happening we will have to sue them. Or we will contact the media, they need to stop scaming people. Enough is enough they should be reported. STop taking people money with your ridiculous hidden fees.We will make this viral!

Customer Service will tell you one thing and will transfer you around from agent to agent and disconnect your calls. They will go to great lengths to try and NOT give you your refund or airline credit.

Rip off

I booked ticket during second wave of covid from canada to india (round trip), dates were changing due to travel ban, and those rip offs were charging 250$ to change date of canceled flight - that service was provided free by airlines, they eat all money from my canceled return flight as well.

Scam company

I was booking a ticket with cheapoair co and when I confirmed my booking their web site says the price changed from 1300 to 1700 just in less than one minute! I called the customer service at first they said the flight зcancelled and then said the price changed! You can not trust this company

Cheapoair is a fraud company

I cancelled the ticket booked for my mom from India to Vancouver,I payed penalty for cancellation about US$250 over it,they didn't give me refund of $ 946.30 back but said my money is kept as E-credits by their company and can be used by end of this year by Dec 2022 and when I called them in December to book the ticket and to use my E credits,they said my E credits got expired in August 2022,,and refused to book my ticket with my E-credits This way they exploited me and harassed me like that. They never give the refund back and make excuses and exploit their clients.I have proof of that with emails

Terrible customer service, cheating people.

It is not recommended to use CheapoAir. Cheating people. I got a direct ticket, but in the airport while checking in, I learned it had a stop. I paid extra for free cancellation, but the system didn't allow me to do so. It's just wasting money and time. I called Cheapopair, but I got no assistance and/or solution.

Very bad website
February 14, 2023

I booked a plane ticket on January 29, they sent the ticket on December 29. When I contacted them, they sent me talking everywhere and the last person they hung up on. Now I have to spend money to buy another ticket. Never buy tickets here

I have bought a ticket from Cheapoair for my brother to come to Vancouver from Europe. I bought insurance, when he wanted to change the date they charged more than 30% of the ticket. 3 months to departure they sent an email that the ticket is changed, you have to call us. their toll free no does not answer.
I have spent hours for this dam ticket, if you want headache go and buy ticket from this company. It looks cheap at the beginning but will be much expensive at the end. Plus the time you have to put to deal with them.

Insurance does not cover change if plans or pay for any fees associated with changes it is for medical emergencies that prevent your from traveling, it also covers lost and damaged bags. We do not have a toll free number but are based in the USA so the number to call is 001-646-738-4820. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

Pathetic Frauds

I booked a flight in premimum economy and they changed it to economy. Now no one is listening or compesating me for the blunder. They dont attend calls or give any kind of service. Its pathetic company.

Very disappointed

Hello! My name is Andrada and i want to make a complaint about my first and my last experience with cheapOair.
I have bought a return ticket to Canada and back home to Romania and in my last days before my departure i received kind of 4 e-mails with flight modification and cancelletion. I was very confused, because i didn`t know when i will return back home. I tried so many times to reach some agent in order to get one valid ticket but all i got was holding line until the call ended. I waited for few times kind of 2 hours to talk with somebody having no success. The call was redirected to New York and i had to pay 100 $ bill.
Then i`ve tried to use live chat and i was redirected to many agents untill my chat ended. The employees told me the airline company has cancelled my flight but it wasn`t true because i have talked with them. Then they told me there is no flight for the next month, and they are truely sorry. Then they told me that I have to pay 600 $ more to receive a new ticket.
It was a very unpleasant situation for me, and I was about to lose my job if i didn`t return home on the initial date.
In conclussion is very hard to speak or chat with just one person that can resolve your problem and I think some of they take advantages of the situation in order to force you pay more money.
I was very disappointed and I`m never going to use your servicies again.

Recently booked WestJet airline thru them and purchased trip cancellation insurance.
I had to change my travel dates & found they wanted $30 to cancel the trip and wanted another $100 to change my ticket. The person I talked to at cheapoair was difficult to understand and did not explain the cancellation policy. The trip was booked to see a close relative before he passed away. We had to move up the travel date to go immediately and had to cancel the booking to get an earlier flight. We booked an earlier flight directly with Swoop airlines. LESSON LEARNED IS DON'T BOOK WTH CHEAPOAIR -BOOK DIRECTLY WITH THE AIRLINE.

The rebooking fees are mandated by the airline whenever you make changes whether you booked with them directly or with us or any travel site. Very sorry for your loss!

A Terrible Experience

I booked a flight to Germany through Cheapoair.ca, at the offered price online of $491.75, but when the bookijg confirmation was sent to me, I had been charged §1023. I have spent 4 hours on the telephone with agents (most of that on hold, being disconnected and starting over, or being rerouted back to the queue):
I have been promised 3 times that a supervisor has seen the problem and will contact me to rectify it, but this has not happened. Yesterday they sent me an email asking me to telephone them once again... I am now in Germany (having used the ticket that they sold me) and I do not wish to telephone Cheapoair again.
I want a supervisor to email me and resolve this issue. I strongly DO NOT recommend Cheapoair to anyone.

Insurance is for medical emergencies, lost or damaged luggage, delayed flights. It does not cover a change of plans that you no longer want to travel. The coverage is listed on the email confirmation with the complete PDF file of coverage.

I booked a vacation package in the beginning of May 2022 for a trip on November 2022. Cheapoair charged my credit card right away without sending me any confirmation email. I waited a day for the confirmation email but didn't get any. I checked their website under my booking, it stated that my booking is "processing". I tried to call their toll free 1-877 customer service number to inquire about it, that number stated that we need to call 1-437 number. I called that number, waited 1.5 hours to speak to someone without success, so I gave up and tried to contact their customer service through their chat function on their website. The agent there sent me a confirmation email with the booking number for the airline and hotel and told me that everything is all booked.

I decided to check the confirmation directly with the airline and they told that the booking number cannot be found. Same for the hotel. I went back on Cheapoair chat and spoke to Christopher he told me that the airline and hotel did not confirm the booking yet. I told him that the last agent told me that everything was all booked. I got feed up and ask him to cancel the reservation if nothing is book and give me a full refund. He told me that he cannot do that and that I'll have to call the vacation package line which was based in New York. I called the number, waited 2 hours and the call just got drop. So I got charge $20 for long distance from my phone company without speaking to anyone.

I wrote a complaint email and Sanjeet, an agent from Cheapoair Vacation Package called me the next day. She told me that because my vacation isn't until November they did not book with the airline and hotel yet. So Cheapoair charged my credit card, give me booking number for the airline and hotel but didn't book with them. I told her that this is not a way to do business and I want cancel everything with a full refund. She said she will check with "billing" and came back to tell me that they will issue me a full refund. They issued three separate refunds, with the smallest amount first. $15 and $48.60 was issued the same day and $301.50 was issued 2 days after. I waited 3 weeks for the remaining balance of $694.48 but they never tissue it. The $694.48 went from being "in Process" in refund status to $0 in refund and processed. They lied stated that they will give me a full refund. So this company basically stole $694.48 from me for a service that I will not be getting. I would advise anyone not to do business with this company.

Poor services
July 3, 2022

Very very poor services for my flight bookings in 2019 / 2020. Unable to resolve the issue when the airline cancelled one of the flights. Unable to provide alternative for cancelled flight to my main destination plus no offer to refund that sector of the booking.
