This bank sucks on so many different levels. DO NOT USE them with your 401k's or investment banking. They have had my money for a year and gained $3.11, and then when I take out my $100K account to transfer it to my new work 401k, they have taken over a month, and only because I called today. I want to talk to senior management, but of course... you cant. Please don't make the same mistake I did and waste a year of getting better money on your return.

Chase is not a company; it's a scam. I was pre-approved for a Sapphire Preferred card, and after a hard pull, I was approved and given a digital card while the physical one shipped. I made four purchases at grocery stores and a sandwich shop. After three days, they closed the card without reason, and every employee was either too clueless or rude to help. This isn't a bank; it's a trap that will hurt your credit and waste your time.

I am extremely frustrated with my recent experience at chase bank. I issued a check for $100, but it was incorrectly cashed for $1,000. This error has caused significant inconvenience and financial confusion. The manager blamed the eligibility of the amount [the numbers part] but it is also written out in as required in [words]. I urge the bank to improve its handling of such errors and ensure better accuracy in transactions.
I would rate this bank a zero [0] if this was an option. It's been hell since I opened my account less than a year. Worst decision I ever made.

HORRIBLE BANK
May 16, 2024

Worst bank I've ever had! Bad for business, and if you are wise, you will change banks, or NEVER use Chase. Their good reviews are absolutely fake! Save yourselves the headache. Not even good with simple banking,, and customer service is horrible. They play like they can't comprehend English.

I have a business account that was closed since Oct-23 until now Feb-24 my money worth $2500 is still not returned. Called them countless times but different representative says different status. Too dismayed about how they handle my issue. Now, it's just a waiting game and not letting up. I feel so frustrated.

Chase is no good. They don't treat their customers well. They won't give you a credit line increase no matter how long you have had accounts with them. Dont apply for any credit cards with Chase. Go to citi bank, Discover or American Express, Synchrony Bank.

Recently I was scammed into paying on an old credit card debt from over 15 years ago by some scammer who had all my personal info and of course was with a fake company. After the fact and a little research I was duped into paying over twice what the original debt was by this scammer who was using scare tactics saying I was gona be sued, so thinking I was doing the right thing I payed! So original debt still remains and I'm out over 2200.00 because chase wont lift a finger and get off their lazy $#*! and investigate anything! After 2 disputes, numerous calls to their so called " dispute" department, all documents showing the company is fake so clear a toddler could tell it was a scam, and even a police report stating the company is fake! Chase says it's a valid charge and I have nothing! Stay away from CHASE they support fraudulent scammers and put their customers LAST!

Shred your Chase debit cards and close them quickly
As a Sapphire Card holder, we have learned through our own experience the last couple months that Chase debit cards are not protected by Chase AT ALL! While we both held debit cards that we never used, SOMEONE in Saudi Bank overseas was able to obtain both our numbers 2 years later and without having to use the 3 digit code number...made a charge against both cards within seconds of each other. Even though we called them as soon as it happened, here we are month and a half later, and their fraud department is still in denial and we continue to waste time. Chase is not worth this aggravation. Time to search alternative Banks.

After being robbed and having my cards used against my will, Chase sent me on a 4 month long absolute nightmare with their despicable fraud department. Mismanagement out of control, unprofessional contact, and a complete dismissal of circumstances. Every single element was in benefit of them. There conclusion on my case wasn't based on the facts of the circumstances, but on ridiculous semantics that exist due to their own advice to me on how to proceed. Ernest, the account specialist who handled my claim, blatantly lied to me on several occasions. Disregarding evidence, testimony, dodging all attempts at meaningful contact. Giving advisement for settling issues, only for those things to be turned around against me, even though it is circumstances THEY created knowing the situation full well. It's all too convenient. I would recommend never working with these people, and as soon as this is resolved I plan to immediately terminate all business with Chase for the rest of my life.

Just received this card. Here is what is wrong.
1. They promise one thing before you apply, but when the card came the rewards are different
2. The site is well organized on the first sight but wouldn't allow me to set up an automatic payment
3.I called for help and waited for 25 min before someone in another country answered the phone. This person wasn't able to help me so he just switch me to the waiting music. Another 20 min later I gave up and decided that this card is not worth it.
Good thing is that I don't have any banking with this bank.
Not a pleasant experience. Don't recommend it.

I have had a chase card for some fifteen years, for the last five of those years I have been using the same computer for on line contact with Chase. Recently, when I log in, I get a message saying that I am logging in on a new device and must identify myself. I go through the nonsense to get logged in and have told Chase numerous times that I am not on a new device, nor have I changed my browser. They ignore me and I continue to have the same issue logging in. Not willing to do business with one who will not address my concerns, I am going to pull a Hank Snow and I am moving on. Good by Chase.

Deceitful liars
February 8, 2024

I lost my job and couldn't pay the bill. I called them to see if they could give me some extra time or lower the payment temporarily until I get my income back. When I first contacted them, they offered a plan for me to lower my payment for a few months. Then, when I called back a few days later, the plan no longer was on the table for unknown reasons that they wouldn't explain.
They refused to help and they were the only company I had an issue with. I have credit cards with other companies and they had plans available that allowed me some time to get back on track. Chase doesn't care and just wants the full amount or they will sue.
I've been a customer as long as I can remember and this is horrible of them.

I've been doing more research about why Chase is closing down accounts for no reason it's because you either have big fluctuation of cash coming in and out and whenever they are trying to sell your money to somebody else or borrow it it doesn't really work for them they usually like the accounts that have the money still in the bank account so they can use it for their own good, I found us from one of my good friend that works at the bank anyway it's time to say goodbye to this scammers!

I had my truck repossessed for missing one payment. Now they want me to pay the entire loan off to get it back. I was unable to work due to cancer but they don't care. Heartless money hungry company is what they are. Think twice before you accept a loan from them. Thank you chase bank for nothing. You suck.

Bunch of Crooks

We have always paid our bill on time. We got a letter from Chase saying they were raising our interest rate in order to increase their profitability. We complained and they didn't care. Then this year (2021) when the mail service was having problems and mail was being delivered late. They charged us a late payment fee. We got our bill two days before it was due, we paid it as soon as we got it. They show they got the payment one day after it was due. So they charged us $28.00 for a late fee. All the other banks and credit card companies we deal with sent a letter saying because of the mail delays they would waive late fees. Chase sent out a notice that they were raising their late fees to $40.00. They are only interested in how they can get your money. Do not use them for anything! Maintain your profitability, avoid Chase at all costs!

So I'm cleaning my husband's truck and I come across a chase envelope and many more. Yet only one has a note on it. How strange is that! I'm sorry as many bank withdrawals and transactions I've made I have never seen this. So why is this woman that works at one of your branches writing notes on my husband's envelopes telling him she hopes he has a great day! Does she do to all her customers. Is this a policy that you allow your employees to do?

Well suddenly, after about 55 years of using credit, you can no longer avoid interest if you pay your card in full. They have a new gimmick called "trailing interest". I carried a balance of $600 over one month, and paid their 24% interest of $14.50. Then the next month I paid the entire balance in full on the due date, but then on the next statement they charged me on a "Trailing Balance" of 444.00 for another $8.50, even tho I had paid the previous balance in full. So now, you have to pay your balance in full 2 months in a row, if you previously carried a balance that incurred an interest charge. The banks will Nickle and Dime us to death at 20+%, but put $20,000 in one of their accounts, and they will pay you 13 cents a month, if your really lucky. It's all done with mirrors so you never figure out their scheme.

I am an United Airlines business customer with over 70 flights in the past two years. I applied for an introductory card with Chase that was being pushed by United Airlines with the promise of 60,000 air miles being added to my frequent flyer account.

I missed the deadline of charging a threshold amount by 7 days and $500 thereby forfeiting the benefits of air miles on an introductory offer on a branded United Airlines Card. The standard answer was "...sorry but that is our policy".

If you do business with Chase realize they are intentionally unresponsive and use policy to alienate responsible customers. Don't fly with United Airlines using a Chase card- you might be taken for a ride you would rather avoid!
