You can stay in a line to talk with someone for hours. It is the worst experience I ever had. My online banking account was blocked and it took me 3 days and hours on the phone to unblock, only because I forgot the password and change it. I'm writing this review during holding on the line. Monday 03/07/22. They transferred my call 3 times and now nobody is answering.
I had to be sent new debit card because of unauthorized charges on my account.
It's taking forever, and customer service was no help as to where it is!
They should have all new cards sent by FedEx and not the US Mail
I have a chase account and as long as all my transactions are online they are great, but to get assistance on the phone especially from the ******* Culver Dr, Irvine CA. It has been a week that I've been trying to speak to someone for the past 4 days. It always ends up with "They are assisting other customers" we should at least be able to chat with someone. All I need is the branch manager's name. Terrible.
The best thing about Chase is their customer support! I travel a lot in and out of the country, and whenever I've had a problem, they've responded quickly. They are constantly looking for fraud, which is great. And one time when my card was hacked, Chase refunded all my money immediately.
As an online shopped and long time loyal user of chase I've never had any issues with them. Their debit card is amazing and so is their credit card. There has been times where I shopped on fashion nova and they tried to scam me a few times and chase was quick to resolve my disputes. Only con I have is the waiting time at the banks. Other than that, customer service on the phone is usually good.
Banking services ar pretty spread nowadays and it's difficult to avoid them. I tried to deny the presence on high technologies like debit cards and credit cards in my life, however I started to understand that I can't exist without them. I applied here in order to take out a credit card because i needed money for acquiring new bicycle for summer. The customer support managers are pretty responsive and reliable here. They answered all my questions and helped me with the process of taking out credit card. I'm really grateful to them and now I feel very happy.
When signing in to retrieve credit card information, Chase has a ridiculous user unfriendly system. In addition to your password, they request that you obtain an additional key by retrieving your email and copying a code # and pasting it into
Your sign on page in order to access your credit card web site. Outrageous waste or time and not elegant or user friendly. You would think that a financial company as influential as Chase would have access to smarter computer software people!
Chase's website is well designed and easy to use, for bill pay and other purposes. This is the best part of the Chase customer experience.
Chase has taken over several banks, in my case Washington Mutual. The level of customer service I've encountered has deteriorated markedly. For example, Chase now makes it *really* hard to talk with a human on the phone. When you finally get to a human, you're likely as not to reach someone who'll waste your time, and may steer you wrong. You're also likely to receive wrong information in person. The company has also tightened severely Wamu's criteria for free checking accounts.
I have purchased 4 pair of glasses because the prices were so reasonable. The service was middling'; sometimes efficient and on time, sometimes my order just seemed to get lost on delivery. Now the quality of merchandise; do not buy their wire frames or frameless. They are very poor quality, bend extremely easily and within a couple of weeks they just don't stay on without a strap. There are also many frames they cannot seem to fill a prescription with the filters and other requirements. I have called them twice and they just don't understand or give me all kinds of excuses which I know are bogus.
I am an United Airlines business customer with over 70 flights in the past two years. I applied for an introductory card with Chase that was being pushed by United Airlines with the promise of 60,000 air miles being added to my frequent flyer account.
I missed the deadline of charging a threshold amount by 7 days and $500 thereby forfeiting the benefits of air miles on an introductory offer on a branded United Airlines Card. The standard answer was "...sorry but that is our policy".
If you do business with Chase realize they are intentionally unresponsive and use policy to alienate responsible customers. Don't fly with United Airlines using a Chase card- you might be taken for a ride you would rather avoid!
I fell for $200 bonus offer and feel like a fool. I received the offer in the mail. Chase rates are a joke, but $200 bonus for keeping $15,000 in the account for 90 days looked appealing. It took me 5 minutes to open a savings account online since I already have several credit cards with Chase. I attempted to transfer $15,000 into my new Chase account 6 times and Chase kept rejecting it every time. I talked to 8 different people, including their fraud department, patiently trying to resolve this issue and no luck. After wasting at least 2 hours out of my life during 2 weeks of trying to transfer money, I finally closed the account. Every single person I talked to was very apologetic and polite, but nobody had any idea how to fix the problem. They just kept transferring me to different departments. What a waste of time and interest income I could've earned at another financial institution!
Locked my account while paying bills. Previously accidentally withdrew someone else's $10,000. Withdrawal from my account with I luckily noticed as I was sent an overdrawn email. Low automatic deposit limits that are unusable. Bad customer service when going into a branch. I do not recommend Chase to anyone and will be changing banks asap.
Chase Bank is literally the most incompetent company on the planet, they have lost or taken thousands of dollars for no particular reason and their customer service ignorant and incompetent. Take your billions in business elsewhere and send a message to Jamie Diamond that his company will collapse.
Banking 20 years and holds on checks for 10 days made me lose 3 customers.
Leave chase, I've had 0 issues with Huntington and forum credit union. Chase bank is a joke with can't understand phone help.
I had deposited $60,000 into savings. I knew it would take awhile to clear the check. I did not need that money any time soon. Then because I made a deposit, Chase decided to freeze ALL of my checking and existing savings for one week without telling me. I could not even access my auto deposit pay check. Customer service said until that $60,000 clears, I will not be able to touch any of my money. What the F…%#?!*. Sorry for depositing a big check, now you r punishing me?I have been with them over 10 years, local branch and foreign country people customer service#%^*!?, Chase seems to want u as a customer
I have attempted to set up automatic payments for our credit cards and it is impossible. Always get the "it looks like this part of our site is not working right now." Just pathetic customer service by telephone. Although Citibank even lets me set up auto pay by phone, Chase cannot. Constantly get shut out of website, etc., etc.
They lie about everything. Make it all the consumers fault. You could pay all your balances on time, be a very good customer and when you do something they don't like they will just freeze your card. Goodbye chase, I have bigger problems to deal with.
I've been with Chase for 15 years now. Purely based off of familiarity. The fees are crazy and exhausting financially. With all the new online banking options and apps, it's just really a waste of time to deal with an institution that makes you feel invaluable.
This is the worst bank I felt with ever in life their customer service is awful very disrespectful and have a smart mouth they hold ur money for 7-10 days for they own personal reason I've been a customer for a while now but will be closing my account soon... I don't even deserve 1 star but it was required
Cast service has given several dates on when I will receive my 200$ bonus. I doubt I will ever see it. Have spoken with about 5 different people and everyone has a different answer for me. Nobody knows what is going on and it takes forever for them to "research the account" if you are thinking about switching banks just go elsewhere and save yourself from the headache.
Answer: Offered as a finance for auto loan... I am seriously thinking of changing banks..
Answer: Because they can and they don't care. The customer service outside of the branch is non-existent. They truly don't care about anything other than the amount of money they can collect from the interest they can collect from our money.
