Chase is a disaster
June 22, 2023

Over a month ago my wife and I stopped at a local Chase branch to transfer our IRA funds to another bank. We did exactly what they told us to do. As of today we still don't have our money. Worst customer service I have ever seen in my 66 years. They will deposit your money quickly. Withdrawing money is another story. Unbelievable.

I have just spent 3 hours trying to login to Chase bank to make an auto payment. The password isn't working... they sent me a code. That doesn't work... now my user name doesn't work. I am unable to speak with customer service. They have hung up one me twice after I was on hold for 25 minutes. This bank is not customer friendly. Also I have been getting emails that a company Lift has been charging to my account and I need to speak to someone about this..

Refinance

Terrible communication, lack of motivation, not trust worthy one bit and most of all incompetent to complete a mortgage application. Do not expect to have one advisor. Be prepared to be tossed around as if your a nobody. Should have never chose them. I will be leaving them soon. I'll pay again just to get out from their bloody hold!

Glitche... As all hell

Are. You kidding with these password rules. Took me 30 minutes to make one. Once I was in I tried to try for an IRA it literary asked for my social security then said it work unless I use my tax ID number is my social. This app will have frustrated.

Points Rip You Off
March 15, 2019

Paying with points for a hotel is the absolute worst experience. I'm paying a whole $200 extra and getting fewer perks (e.g. Breakfast not included) than I would have if I bought from agoda. It went from a great treat to a very negative feeling. I'm really disappointed and won't be using it again.

Card transactions decline frequently, even with available credit. Actual balance is not updated daily. The balance versus the available credit are hardly ever proportional. Account closed without notice or warning. Hard to get a credit line increase, even with good credit. Anything through the biggest and largest financial institutions is not always the best. Chase Bank is said to be one of the hardest financial institutions, according to business analysts, with which to obtain credit. There are better credit cards available than Chase Freedom. To avoid any confusion, disappointment, or embarrassment, this particular credit card is not recommended.

Horrible accessibility

I like that I can pay over time on Amazon with a Chase Amazon card.The rewards are also good but making a payment is a nightmare. I take pride in on time payments and the website doesn't let me make my own user name and is picky on passwords.In result I believe I'm going to close this account and use Affirm instead.

Chase Bank Unfair

I just got a letter in the mail saying Chase is closing all of my accounts due to unexpected activity. I called Chase Bank Customer Service to see what happened and they said they don't know why themselves. I have been with Chase for 20 years and now they close all my accounts including credit cards for literally no reason. I don't even know the real reason because I barely have activity on my account. I even have a business account with them that I'll be closing myself and give my business elsewhere. After this honestly I wouldn't refer Chase Bank to anyone and in the past I have gave them so many new customers. Still can't believe these guys can just close a account with giving any reason. I will gladly hand over my business account and personal accounts for myself my family as well as relatives to another bank now. Great job Chase Bank you have lost a 20 year old loyal customer.

Deposited a check and chase took two weeks to process it, then after the two weeks i see the money in my account. So I got my family all dressed up to take my sweet wife out for a Mother's Day breakfast, and my card declines at checkout. The bank says they need to conduct even further review, and nothing they can do to help me. Absolute trash.

This app will freeze up will change font size will kick you out of your own account. Will not recognize your ID will tell you your password is invalid or expired. When you call customer service, they will blame it all on you. Regardless of the fact that they are site down servicing their online app or updating, whichever will fall on the customer, including those with disabilities with sight a complete nightmare from the entire time I have been a member of Chase Bank! Some customer service, rude and disrespectful to customer belittling them.

I had phone stolen remotely. My chase was used and they blamed and closed without warning. They refused to open new account even though I kept a high balance in account. I would recommend you look at other banks.

Sat on hold for over an hour, was redirected to 4 different people/departments, and after my 4th time explaining the significant fraudulent transactions I needed addressed, they HUNG UP.

Now I am out hundreds of dollars and my only hope is to attempt the process described above all over again. Which is during the WORK DAY, so I just lost part of my hourly pay for this, but I can't call outside of business hours because customer service is closed. Just to be hung up on and not helped during a very difficult time with an extremely concerning situation over my finances trusted with Chase. I was given no help with my situation to (hopefully!) get my fraudulent transactions rectified on my debit card account, and lost part of a work day, during which every hour really counts. Absolutely awful experience.

Worse banking experience ever talking to an agent who is clearly at home and not in an office sounded like he was just getting out of the bed and maybe still lying in bed The guy didn't do anything but place me on hold after telling him I had a fraud purchase made on my account on the phone today a while hour for nothing but to sit on hold until I eventually hung up.

My mortgage company wrote informing me that my loan payments will now be serviced through Chase. I went to a local branch to make the payment. Fine. They took my money. My credit Union, On Point, let me use their bathroom. Not chase! It lives up to it snobby reputation. No, thank you. I'll make my payment through you, but I would never bank there.

Talked to the customer service credit card department and tried to explain my issue of why my account was charged after having a account balance of 0 and the lady i was talking could not understand what was going on and then began to have an attitude. Had multiple issues like this dealing with Chase.

Their customer service is the most horrendous I have ever experienced. Talked to them for over two hours, was transferred at least 10 times (each transfer was at least a 10 minute wait) and no one could resolve my seemingly simple issue. Incompetent and unhelpful to say the least.

I have been with Chase for almost 12 years. To set up a savings account they made me make an appointment. I called ahead of time for a notary they told me I had to go for another bank. When I told him I was closing my bank account down they acted like they didn't care. So I urge all my veterans not to bank here..

I rented a car in Phoenix, Arizona but did not use my Chase Amazon Visa card. I paid in full, by another method and have the receipt to prove it. " Somehow," the car rental agency charged my Visa $ 191.00, for what I don't know, and did not authorize it. Disputed the charge with Chase Amazon and was told this was a valid charge because the car rental agency " said so". What? I can't believe this. But I'm not giving up!

Horrible

Bought this thing months ago figuring I could not have to check it out tried it doesn't work out-of-the-box won't connect horrible software horrible support. Do not waste your money like I did. This was a torch to $3000 blueskies who I bought it from. Hopefully they'll do the right thing if not shame on them for selling this piece of junk.

Not worth the hassle

We've had our account for several yrs and one time my husband was trying to deposit money into my account They told him he could t use cash to get a money order then they put a seven day hold on the money order now we were told 9 days on a two party check which is ridiculous it should only take a day I asked to talk to the branch manager and got a rude sarcastic $#*! that was talking over me would t hear what I was saying This. Bank is absolutely the worst In customer service and horrible about doing banking in a timely manner
