Opened a new acct but got called by fraud who stated to go in the branch to show ID. Did that then was told to wait until I received my debit card. When I received my debit card, I was told that my account would be re-opened two days later. My account was still closed and I was told it would be open the next day. The following week the account was still closed and I was told it would be open the next day, then the representative told me that she would check on it and call me within 24 hours. Guess who did not receive a call in 24 hours and my accounts are still closed. I never got to use the account and it was closed before I even received my debit card. I am more frustrated because I am a Chase credit card holder which means they should have my information but to close my new checking and savings account is crazy even after I provided you all the information that you requested and verified my identity. You hit a switch to close the account but it takes the entire customer service team to reopen it? I'm just going to go to a different bank.

Chase denied my check knowing I had money being deposited. Didn't wait 5 hours to deny when money was deposited

Understanding a customer

Chase over the people are rude and not compassionate about helping their customers. I was transferred like 6x's about my issue with my bank account and trying to understand why I had a negative on my account and they keep giving you people that can't speak clear English or sounds frustrated with you because you are trying to make them understand your problem and they trying to make you understand their situation without even being compassionate with you. One person from the fraudulent person was really nice his name was Jet. The sad thing I still need help to understand what happened end to my account. So sad their customer service and they don't even follow protocol with your account if it was hacked or identity theft.

Zelle Transactions

Hello Chase Bank has removed funds out of my account claiming I authorized two 500.00 dollar transactions which I have no knowledge of and now refuse to replace the 1000.00 saying im at fault I tryed to call them while the tranaction was in progress to let them know i did'nt authorize this and please put a stop to this and they still allowed it TO GO THROUGH and im the one paying for it now KNOW way is this right

Being asked repeatedly when trying to deposit a check, to see your debit card. I see no reason to have a debit card, I have never used or needed one. The fees and the security of having one is just not worth it. ( It seems the only winner is the bank). Then to be reprimanded for disagreeing with the teller on needing one by another employee more than half your age is so unprofessional. I will be seeking another more professional bank, that realizes customers come first. P.S. I was a "Private client".

Jade has the worst customer support. Their ATMs also work based on ET so if you hit your withdrawal limit on the previous day according to PT, it will not let you take more money the next day.

I have been locked out of my account for over two weeks, all they do is say they are sorry and tell me a bunch of lies, telling me it's fixed now, we will call back, go back to the branch, call the 1 800 number with out a resolution, never again.

Don't Do Chase

Chase will not protect your money, you get scam or anything like that, chase will give all your money to the scams and chase will take your money also and leave you stuck, I got scam chase took all my money let the scammers take my money, chase closed my account and kick me off, and I still hasn't gotten any of my money back chase told me it was nothing they can do, stop putting your money in chase they will not protect your money!

$200 Bonus Nightmare

I fell for $200 bonus offer and feel like a fool. I received the offer in the mail. Chase rates are a joke, but $200 bonus for keeping $15,000 in the account for 90 days looked appealing. It took me 5 minutes to open a savings account online since I already have several credit cards with Chase. I attempted to transfer $15,000 into my new Chase account 6 times and Chase kept rejecting it every time. I talked to 8 different people, including their fraud department, patiently trying to resolve this issue and no luck. After wasting at least 2 hours out of my life during 2 weeks of trying to transfer money, I finally closed the account. Every single person I talked to was very apologetic and polite, but nobody had any idea how to fix the problem. They just kept transferring me to different departments. What a waste of time and interest income I could've earned at another financial institution!

TERRIBLE Website

I keep trying to email a complaint but every link directs to login to their website. The website has not let me login for months. I don't have good cell service where I live, so I can't call & complain. All I want to do is login to the website & pay a bill. PLEASE Chase, GET IT TOGETHER!

Horrible accessibility

I like that I can pay over time on Amazon with a Chase Amazon card.The rewards are also good but making a payment is a nightmare. I take pride in on time payments and the website doesn't let me make my own user name and is picky on passwords.In result I believe I'm going to close this account and use Affirm instead.

They sent our credit card to the wrong address 4 times after calling 10 times and speaking to 10 different reps to change our address since their terrible app doesn't sync with their computers. Save yourself time and NEVER bank with Chase, they are the trashiest bank around and will never help.

I did like Chase in the past, their site is really easy to use. But I made a transfer to an outside account of $4,000 and they called me to make sure it was me. I didn't want to give information over the phone so they told me to log into my account and approve it, which I did.

Two days later I tried to log into my account and it was locked due to suspicious activity and gave me a phone number to call. I called Chase's main number instead in case my page was hacked. They asked for my account information and my debit card number. I don't use my debit card often so I have no idea where it is.

There was no other way for them to confirm my identity (seriously?) unless I reported my debit card lost. So I was transferred to another department. They confirmed recent transactions and ordered me a new card. Then transferred back to the first department.

So now I'm on the line waiting for them. This is so frustrating. I've been on the line 22 minutes so far because I'm locked out and there's no way for them to verify my identity. I'm thinking of moving my checking, savings, and credit card account to another bank.

Chase Bank Unfair

I just got a letter in the mail saying Chase is closing all of my accounts due to unexpected activity. I called Chase Bank Customer Service to see what happened and they said they don't know why themselves. I have been with Chase for 20 years and now they close all my accounts including credit cards for literally no reason. I don't even know the real reason because I barely have activity on my account. I even have a business account with them that I'll be closing myself and give my business elsewhere. After this honestly I wouldn't refer Chase Bank to anyone and in the past I have gave them so many new customers. Still can't believe these guys can just close a account with giving any reason. I will gladly hand over my business account and personal accounts for myself my family as well as relatives to another bank now. Great job Chase Bank you have lost a 20 year old loyal customer.

Beware of this bank.

My experience with chase so far is horrible. On 8/11 I deposited my check into chase bank. The check cleared my former bank the same day. On 8/14 the money isn't in my chase checking account. I call chase and a supervisors says that the money is not available because my former bank hasn't verify that the money has cleared the account. I make a three way call, get verbal verification that the check cleared the account, and chase still denied to release the hold on my account. Beware of this bank.

Chase is a lousy bank. They closed out my checking and savings account without giving me a verbal reason other than its our right to close it. They left the credit card open that was nice of them being they charge interest. They are rotten. I called having issues with zelle transfer and nobody would give me a straight answer other we will transfer you to this department then that department, oh brother. Then I get frustrated with them telling them how I feel and soon after both accounts closed. I have been a loyal customer for many years. I call and ask if I can go to branch office to get balance and they said no they will mail you a check in august 16 one week after today. I have no access to my money for 2 weeks because of these idiots. Now I have to wait another week plus business days for mailing. These people are low life low customer service they don't care about there customers. It's good thing I get out of this company. The credit card of course won't be their long either. Your company stinks.

Answer: I don't know. I ordered a $50 Starbucks digital gift card on 07/17/23, for 5000 rewards points. It was supposed to be delivered by 07/21/23. It was not.

I called Chase at end of business on 7/21/23 to have it sent... After 18 days of waiting, still NO GIFT CARD.

I called back on 8/8/23 and was told by not one but 2 Chase incompetents, I should wait another WEEK for an email about the problem... I guess I will have to call back A 3RD TIME a week from now to speak to yet another incompetent. SMDH!
