I ordered a car part online and submitted my info including credit card data. I received an email later stating the part was "out of stock". The shame is that their website didn't notify me of this before I took the time and effort to submit the order. It's also a shame that this company actually charged my credit card before they verified stock and shipped the part - that is a very bad and unscrupulous business practice. I'll never search for, or order a part from CarParts.com again. It's been a week now and they still haven't credited my credit card account.

Worst thing I have ever done turned out they didn't even carry my part and wasted aloy of my time with returns 3 hours total on the phone. Shipped me the wrong part then tried to charge me double the next time for the same wrong part after promising to honor that price. The people you talk to don't care there not in a lmerica and don't understand you qhen you need to call in so you have to talk to 8 people who are all sitting in the same room. They will pass you around to try and puch you off Dont believe Brian!
If you place 1 order of 3 parts expect 3 packages 3 different dates. Then I got sent a garbage a1 cardone reman maf 131$ and after playing 50 questions with the customer service rep who talks like he actually knows $#*! when he obviously is clueless they tell me no problem send it back. We will email a shipping label. 3 days later, label gets emailed. It's been 2 weeks since I shipped it out and today when I call to check status the part has been there 3 days and there now " working on the return" like it's a huge operation. Well I work for an autoparts company and returns are very simple and quick. Credit returns take 12 hrs to 3 days. There telling me the credit transfer will take 7. There customer service reps talk like mindless robots right from the script word for word. Will not recommend them to anyone, will spend the extra money on local parts.
I purchased (2) Rear Exhaust Sensors from CarParts and they shipped the wrong parts. Now they are refusing to accept a return of these incorrect parts so I'm having to file a dispute with my bank for the charges. My advice, do not do business with this company!
I purchased apart from them put it on the car couple months later it broke down they want to charge me to ship the part back WOW. Don't use them
These guys are company of Asian crooks located in Asia. Their customer service line connects you to a team of "no can do" crooks in the Philippines. The price posted on their website for a pair of Ford Escape sealed headlight assemblies looked terrific. However, what they shipped me was a pair of defective and broken headlight assemblies that were likely reject returns that they simply re-boxed, and shipped to me. Not only were they not sealed along the top seems (water will pour in), but more deplorable was that the side mounting tab on the driver's side unit was snapped off and sitting placed neatly on top of the unit when I opened the box. As if whoever fulfilled the order said "oh well, I'll include the broken tab from this defective unit and the poor customer (sucker) can try to super glue it back together". Finally, the halogen bulb socket on the same assembly was detached from the rear casing such that the beam cannot be adjusted nor hold stable when the vehicle is driven down the road. These were definitely defective units returned or rejected that this company intentionally repackaged and shipped to me, knowing that they're never going to accept them back for refund.
To make a long story short, when I called the customer service toll free, I first got Charlotte, followed by Juliette who claimed to be her supervisor, and finally Mr. Ace the Manager of Customer Service, all in Philippines. Bottom line, is that the crooks refused to approve a return shipment, and refused to refund my credit card. This company is a total scam. They advertise terrifically low prices because they ship defective, cheaply made in Asia, knock-off products. To make it totally deplorable, often what they ship their customers is the repackaged defective returns of those same cheap products that likely were returned to other Asia suppliers, or even to themselves or a sister company. I've noticed that other websites such as autopartswarehouse.com have the same look and carry the exact same products displayed int the exact same order and prices when you search for them, so stay away from them also. Do not believe their advertised return policy because the truth is that they have none.
Moral of the story is as follows:
1. You get what you pay for.
2. If it sounds even maybe too good to be true, it probably is.
3. If you like to hold on to the money that you have, then stay way far away from carparts.com, autopartswarehouse.com, and all others that look similar.
Placed order for overnight via the new paypal business card. Paypal rejected the order. Soonafter I got three phone called and two email. Meantime, I placed another order with updated payment. Waited three days and after threecalles I was told that Fedex has restriction on my zipcode for overnight delivery. Called Fedex and was told that the ordr was placed as standard delivery and no restriction on zipcode. Its better to shop local and pay the extra charge to avoid all if this.
This company made charges to my credit card and then sent me 25 emails stating the part was out of stock. I called them to get my card credited and after 3 hours on the phone they stated they will have to send a check for the refund

Automated tracking number proves that part doesn't reach the carrier until the third business day, effectively doubling the delivery time.
Customer service seems to think this is acceptable performance.
We think it's a wholly unsatisfactory arrangement for providing automotive parts where transportation and livelihoods are at stake.

I ordered a part from there. It came in and did not fit my vehicle. I spoke with the lady there about returning and told me I had to pay for shipping back to them. She told me that it would be $8.42 to return. Keep in mind I paid $44.51 for the part. I took it to the post office as instructed and shipping was $22! Then I get my credit email back and it says they are refunding me $33 not the $44 I paid for the part or nothing. So i pretty much bought the part anyways. I am so upset. I will never use this place again nor recommend to anyone.
Ok it's the end and the results are in.my package finally arrived earlier then they said this time but a month late to me.one thing is that my package was in my city on the truck for delivery at 800 am and I got it about 440pm today.the mail person told me that those kind of packages should only take three days. What a journey this was.
This site had a good price, but my #1 factor in selecting them was that they could ship same day, so I paid the 34.00 overnight fee and the 8.00 "handling" fee and placed the order well below the "cut-off" time, I received no shipping confirmation so I followed up the following day and was told I'd get my order by 8PM 2 days later, 8PM? Really? For 42.00? The customer service rep was very nice (*but obviously off shore). She "understood" my frustration, so she gave me a 3.00 credit (Awesome! Lol) Save your money, punish BS websites like this that take your business away from other sites that do not make false promises!
We ordered one headlight for our Honda Accord from carparts.com, and installed it today - it looks beautiful, works perfectly, and the mechanic said it's very good quality. Very good service - we ordered it on the phone, and the confirmation and the invoice arrived immediately to our mailbox, the headlight arrived within 3 days. Unbeatable price. It would have cost us $102 if a body shop had done it, but we paid only $42.31. Hopefully, it'll last.

Before I ordered a radiator for my Jeep Liberty on 10/21, I called and spoke with a representative and was assured that it would be shipped that day and would arrive before Saturday, 10/24 if ordered that morning. He told me that it would ship from Virginia which would make it a 2 day delivery by ground. I ordered it right away and the payment was processed.
The FedEx tracking number stated that the part wasn't shipped until 10/27 and arrived over a week from when I ordered it.
I called "customer service" and was treated very poorly. At first, the agent was not willing to get a manager for me. After at least 5 minutes oh me insisting on speaking to a manager, she said that there was none available and she could get a supervisor (who sounded a lot like her).
I was told by the "supervisor" that the package was given to FedEx on the 22nd (the day after my order was placed). I was lied to again, FedEx didn't get it until 10/27.
I was told that a manager was not going to call me back, that I would have to keep calling to maybe reach one.
My battery died recently and when I took it to CarParts not only did they help me find a great replacement, they also gave me a warrantied battery in case anything happened.
