Part didn't fit

I ordered a replacement mirror for my truck (Order# CPZ*******) but when it came it did not fit. I wrote a review stating as much and w/o any further prompts on my end I was contacted by customer service to find out the exact problem and then was refunded. Obviously would've preferred to have the part work but I'm happy they corrected the issue with minimal trouble to me.

I recently bought a new grill for my 2011 Tundra. Car parts wanted a review so I sent them this:
"Very nice product and easy install. I would have given 5 stars but there were two plastic fasteners that were broke on the inside of the grill assembly. Luckily, I was able to fix it on my own and not send the grill back. It looks great, so overall I'm pretty happy with it."
I didn't expect a response but Car Parts gave me a $30 credit for the hassle. Thanks Car Parts, I'll do business with you again!

Customer service
July 8, 2020

This company has NO customer service. I ordered parts. They screwed up the delivery address. When called placed on hold of over 1.5 hours. The rep told me my problem was no big deal and he didn't care about my wait. Admitted the problem was there's. He said he would reprocess the order but no overnight shipping only ground and I may be a problem again. What kind of business would run this way with this help. I strongly recommend buying elsewhere. DO NOT use this company. There are nanny good companies selling parts that do care about the customer. Bad to the bone company

Bought a non oe grill from carparts.com for my 300c to mod and was unaware that it did not include installation hardware along with having a slightly different mounting setup from my previous grill. I made mention of this in a review of the grill and though it was no fault of their own, they reimbursed me $20 to find hardware locally without me even reaching out to them directly.

Good company, will do business there in the future, highly recommend.

I've been using this site to fix up my partner's 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5, and this site has been nothing but help! Not only do they have (relatively) affordable parts and fast shipping, but also a great catalogue excellent customer service! I bought an exhaust and the bolts they gave me with it didn't fit to mount the exhaust, so I left a 4-star review on the item and Pol from CS reached out to me and refunded me part of the order and gave me a coupon code for future use! Highly recommend!

Refunds

They do not honor their 60 day return policy. Some items they say only have a 30 day but does not state on website. Tried to dispute this and was denied then asked for a supervisor who said he would return my call because i could not hear or understand him but never did. Would not spend my money here again. I lost 105 dollars in a part i can not use.

They redeemed themselves

I tried to return a part because it didn't work and found the website and service number difficult to manage and the live person that I talked to said just return it... no call tag. Or shipping label. So I posted a negative review... Someone called this morning and took care of business like a professional service representative should. By the way it was explained to me you just cant return an item with out an authorization which the first rep did not explain. Thank You for taking care of my issue.

Accidentally left a negative review due to an order mix up on my end. Parts arrived as ordered and in the timeframe as ordered. Got contacted by customer support within a couple of days after my negative review. I have no problems ordering again from this business!

RIP OFF (BEWARE)!

I called to purchase an interior door handle, the price from the first consultant was $18. Plus $13.89 for shipping & handling, he said he could not take my credit card info but had me dial it into the phone, then claimed am error occurred, transferred me to a credit card authorized which took my card info then read back the the price was now $41 not $32 and when I questioned the price increase she replied hmm well now it is $56. So I cancelled the order and she acknowledged the cancellation she stated there would not be any charges to me. Two days later I have a $41 charge on my credit card and they are refusing to return the money.

I decided to keep the broken part, just because it was holiday season and had family over and I needed the car running and even thought, they refunded me a 100%. Somebody from the customer service called me apologizing for the inconvenience and was very professional saying they will work with their manufactures about the bad quality part I received. Thank you and I still being a loyal customer. Problems happens. It just depends how good companies and professionals deal with it. I wish all the my on line purchases were treated like they treat this. Thank you again.

I spoke with a women named rose on a previous review & she gave me 5$ back to assist with buying new clips for the grill assembly I had bought previously. It was very much appreciated & will definitely continue to do business with this company. In all the years I've bought parts & ordered parts from various companies I have never had that good of a customer experience between cheap parts & them making the customer happy. I highly recommend

Send wrong part, expected me to eat the shipping. Horrible customer service. Part was miss represented on the website. STAY AWAY. Use your local parts service and save yourself the headache. All they sell is Chinese crap anyway.

Ordered a window regulator for my 99 jeep grand cherokee. Was sent wrong part. Spent 30 minutes on phone, just waiting to talk to someone who barely spoke English. They were of no satisfaction to my ordeal Did not have another thirty minutes to wait to talk to someone else. Never use this service again ever. Horrible!

Disapointed

I'm a retired marine Sgt, and I've ordered from car parts on several occasions. But recently I ordered a suspension kit for my Mazda 6. The kit came to a total of over $62.00 shipping and tax included. I'm seeing from my bank statements there attempting charge additional for shipping. I talk to a lady in customer service and she informed me the parts were being sent out individually. I received one item today that didn't fit and was changed individually for that part that was supposed to be included in the kit that I had ordered. I've done alot of business with car parts and I'm hoping customer care can work this out.

Buyers beware
September 19, 2023

Their coupons are bogus. When entering them at checkout they don't work. Once you've bought the product, don't use it. Returning it is the worst part. They charge for the shipping label & return. So you WON'T get a full refund regardless of a core fee, the exact box it was shipped in, and you didn't use the part at all.
Do NOT waste your hard-earned money on a BS website.

We order between 50-150 parts a week. The two times Ive ordered parts with CarParts, the system has kicked both our Amex and our Visa back. We'll spend the next 15 minutes on the phone because its anything but fast that way - then the next day, you'll get a receipt saying you order went through for the online purchase. Effectively ordering two parts, and then they'll try to charge you for the second part. Wonderfully flawed system in their favor.

Don't waste your time and money!

What's the deal with this company and it's customer service? 1st attempt at contacting customer service I was hung up on. 2nd attempt as well. Finally a rep called me back, only to try and lie as to why my part will be arriving 3 days later then expected. I paid $28 for next day air, yet the part won't arrive 3 days. People don't waste your time and money with this company.

I'm impressed with the lengths Carparts has gone to...to satisfy a customer. I simply left a review for replacement headlights stating they weren't very bright and I was disappointed. A week later I get an email offering replacement. Once correspondence started the customer service reps were on top of everything. Good communication! I have to give them an A for effort. That's not to say the replacement headlights are any better as I have to wait until dark to find out...
