Ordered an aluminum replacement hood online with an arrival date 6 days after my order. Paid just over $1,100 and waited. On the day the hood was to be delivered, rechecked the tracking and now it said delayed- 3 more days. Ok, I'll wait (what's my other choice?). Hood did arrive 3 days later, opened the box- wrong hood. Not aluminum, not for my car. Called carparts.com, but they were closed. At the recordings request, I filed my return online with a promised response between 24-72 hours. Today is day 6 without the return info. Have sat on hold for an hour today to try an get it sorted out so I can get this hood that doesn't fit my car out of my house and get my money back. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND!
If I could do 0 stars I would. Customer service is atrocious. Lifetime replacement for the same part is misleading and false advertising. When you have an issue they won't honor it unless it is same on everything. We bought the same part, just different brand at the recommendation of our mechanic after only having the other part on the vehicle for less than a year. Car parts.com states well you could have returned that other part within 60 days...not helpful when the part is an issue after 60 days and the mechanic says to go a different brand but exact same part! Customer service is terrible and not helpful. I would recommend going with Rock Auto as they are always helpful!

Bought coolant tank, waiting until cooler weather to install since I'm in FL. Tank failed, and company said I am out of luck since it sat on my shelf for over 90 days. Coolant tank should be able to handle much more than 90 days on a garage shelf.

As so many of us are in need of car parts at times and want a seamless and trustworthy avenue to find decent to high quality parts, Well I have definitely Put Carparts on my top 3 or 4 sources for just that!
I had 2 issues that where Very well taken care of by two different departments of customer service. The only reason I put 4 out of 5 instead of 5 out of 5 stars is because there was a glitch with Autofill on the address portion that you fill out to place an order. (I am not sure if that was resolved So pay close attention when filling out your address!)
Customer Service was Clear, kind, intelligent, and definitely showed concern. Exemplary performance!
And no this is not a paid employee or Robot... this is how I speak. Lol

Delivery date came and went! I made the mistake of ordering a car part I needed for an immediate repair based on the website's promised delivery date of the part.Just like other people reviewed, the delivery date came and went! Today is the delivery day and the tracking still shows Label was created and the part has never been even picked up by FedEx.I contacted customer service they blamed it on FedEx and say wait two days for tracking to be updated after they scan it, well I feel like I have been scammed. Now my work truck is going to be down for several days till I find an alternative. All the bad reviews on shipping are accurate. And they don't give a s**t.

Reviews on here seem to be grouped into either really bad or really great with next to nothing in the middle. Something seems off about that. In any case I ordered a part yesterday and called to cancel the order today. First time ever ordering a parts from this place. I was already aware that it may end up shipping anyway but hoping it will cancel and I don't have the hassle of having to send it back.
In any case, the customer service agent was friendly, took my information and submitted my cancellation request. She also explained to me what I already knew about there being a "small window of time" to cancel an order.
As I said, she was very friendly but I was also friendly so I have to wonder if those complaining about poor customer service and rude behavior were themselves being overly rude. I give them a 4 because the agent was kind and helpful. If they had a better cancellation policy, I'd give them a five.
Fast delivery, great service if you need it. Prices that will shock you, Great selection and descriptions as well as pictures of each of the parts options. Great experience! I've saved customers of mine literally up to 190.00 per one part vs using other walk in auto parts retailers.
This is the best customer service that I have experienced in years! From start to finish. I didn't understand that 2 parts in a set would have two different part numbers. They were so patient and helpful.
After searching online for the caliper set I wanted on my truck I came apon this site which had them at a fair price. Just for fun I sent them a message on Instagram to see if there were any discount codes for the new year and to my surprise they offered me a 10% code to use! Really happy with my purchase and their friendly customer service from their instagram page! Thanks again!

If you're in need of a car parts real quick as they advertise this is not the place to order it. It took an extra 10 days for me to get a replacement grill for my Tacoma and my new bumper also extended over the shipping time they give me. Customer service is trash they could barely speak English. Don't order from car parts.com

Tried to cancel my order hours after placing it. No Customer service when i called i sat on hold. Then it offers a call back service, which i did 3 separate times with zero results. Emailed the company directly twice. Sent a message thru Paypal. And filed a return on their website, all without a response. The next day, they decided to ship it anyways. I finally sent a message on messenger, and got a call back in minutes. A young kid telling me its not their fault, and now it's MY problem. I need to ship it back across the country, and tie up my money until they receive it backed. This company is a scam, shop elsewhere..
I ordered a tailgate from CarParts specifically because they said it would arrive today. Tracking still shows it being delivered today but it wasn't. CarParts tells me now it hasn't shipped and they don't know when it will ship. I'm leaving on vacation with the truck for 2 months. They now tell me I can't cancel the order until after it's delivered - but I won't be here to accept delivery.
I'll never order from them again.

I ordered this part as a direct fit to my vehicle.
Firstly, Fedex took almost 2 weeks to deliver a part that a supposed to take 4 days. The was very irritating as the delivery date changed multiple times.
Secondly, the part has an incorrect mounting base for my vehicle. It would take serious modification to make it work, and that would compromise the function of the part.
Overall, not a good experience.
