Wrong parts and horrible service

Spent 630 dollars on parts only to receive a bunch of parts that aren't even close to fitting my vehicle. Contacted customer service and sent pictures showing wrong fit, then get emails that say 24-72 business hours to resolve issue for return, they said a refund would be applied once they got an RMA number, waited another few days then they say it again, then I call and they say 3-5 business days, so I wait some more and they say another 24-72 hours. My issue has been ongoing for 2 weeks. I will take this to the next level if not resolved. I work hard and honest for my money. I will not stand for someone cheating me out of it and I will continue sharing this as long as I need too

Returns

Worst company ai have ever dealt with as far as returns. They list an incorrect part for vehicle then punish the customer with a hole bunch of bull$#*! to get a full refund
Send pictures and get the OEM part number for them so they don't have to do any work to fix their $#*! job of vehicle and part ID. Won't be another purchase from them

Please make sure you read the fine print on CARID's website. I ordered a wheel and tire package and only in the return policy listed in the fine print at the very bottom of the page (if you know to even look there) does it note that you cannot return or cancel a wheel / tire package order. Never told this and not listed on their ordering website. Even if they have not mounted the tires they still will not return. This is a company without integrity. They give you little timely info and hide behind a concealed policy to screw their customers! Watch out when ordering to make sure you can cancel orders when they take weeks longer than they should to get items to you.

Liars and cheats

Ordered an in stock item dash cam. They didnt ship it even though they stated it was in stock. I requested a refund, which CarID agreed to then never sent it. Filed a complaint with my CC company and they lied and refused to refund. This company is just full of liars and cheats. Avoid at all costs.

Headlights
November 18, 2022

This company is probably the worst company I have ever dealt with, they sent me a part that was a complete lie compared to what they said it was in on their website so I returned it and I am waiting 3 weeks so far to get refunded and all they keep telling is they are waiting to get refunded from their manufacturer. I didn't buy it from their manufacturer I bought it from them but they don't seem to care. I sent pictures to them of their product and all they told me was they have to send the pictures to their manufacturer to see why the product is different then described. When you call the sales department you speak to people in America but when you speak to the customer service/ returns department they all sound like they are from a foreign country. I stress to everyone do not buy products from this company.

Terrible experience all around
November 18, 2022

Wheels were just wrapped in saran wrap for delivery, then when arrived damaged carid offers me $100 when I spent over $3000 (including extra for shipping) because I did not keep the saran wrap they were packaged in! They claimed they paid for insurance but could not file a claim without the "original packaging". I had to jump through hoops and was able to file a claim through UPS myself, which was denied because "The merchandise was not placed properly within the packaging to protect it sufficiently".
It has been over 2 weeks of trying to get this resolved but still no resolution and continuing waste of time bs emails.

DONT ORDER FROM THIS SITE

I ordered tail lights. They did not fit my vehicle. Finally after a lot of pics and emails I got them to take them back. They have them and no refund. I can not give them enough negative reviews. It sucks that I have to give one star to post this. Save your time and money shop anywhere else.

I had purchased a set of rotors and pads for my Audi an they came in Rong, I called them and they said that they were going to send me a return slip etc, finally got the confirmation email with the return slip so I printed out went to the UPS drop it off and I had to pay for the return because they didn't provide that! I called them and they said they were going to give me the money and I never got it plus the money for the return parts! This company can't be trusted because I've spoken to a couple different agents and all of them have different excuses the last one put me on hold for almost 30 MN and I never heard from them again! Don't spend your time and money with this company!

Carid sold used parts.

Carid sold me used shocks. The shocks came scratched up with red paint and the air line fittings don't match the air compressor. Customer service stated I was beyond 30 day return policy. Like that makes a difference.

Their definition of guarantee, doesn't exist.

I placed two orders with this company. First one was for a cargo mat for a 22 Jeep Cherokee. I received the mat, and it's not the right mat. They guarantee fitment. It did not fit. I contacted them, and was told that they would take it back and deduct return shipping costs. So they're going to charge me for their mistake?
The second order was a little larger. A full set of wheels, tires, lug nuts, mounting, balancing, and OEM TPS. It took them nearly a week to finally ship them, when the salesman I placed the order with told me they were in stock. I finally received them, took them to a local garage to have them installed. Once they were on the vehicle, it was lowered to back out of the garage. Instant screeching. Why? The wheels don't fit over my brake calipers. I called them, they said they are non-returnable because they were mounted. How do we know that they fit if we don't put them on the vehicle? Well we're going to let a judge decide that because they refuse to refund my $2,500. This company is disgusting. The three times I talked to customer service, I swear to God I was talking to somebody from India who didn't understand a lick of English. Yet the company is from New Jersey? Stay as far away from this company as you possibly can. They are the worst. I'll let you know how the lawsuit goes.

Refund for return! Declined!

Purchased item that was to be the right part per website. Turns out it was wrong part. Asked for return label for refund. Due to box being damaged during shipping to me I placed the part in the damaged box and inside of another box to insure part wouldn't be damaged during return shipping. They are still refusing refund due to it not being in the correct box. They said I said box wasn't damaged on recorded call however the rep never asked about the condition of the box and only asked "if the item in the box was like new, never installed and not damaged?" Which I responded as yes. You can clearly see inside of the box that I returned the part in, that the original box was damaged. And on the original box box it wasn't even the correct box for the part. Just a random box with no markings other than the shipping label. I've asked for pics of the retuned box and content but have received nothing. And still being refused a refund.

Don't buy from here

I bought a bull nose with a light bar in it for my son's truck. The light bar had moisture in it that would not go away, I requested a replacement for it, destroyed the part, sent the pictures, that was a month ago and I am still waiting on my replacement. I keep getting the run around excuse that it's the manufacturer, if it was my company I would send my customer one from stock and fight the manufacturer for my replacement. Apparently they don't care about you after you spend your money. NEVER USING THEM AGAIN

Sent wrong part and would not refund.

This has been a three-month-long nightmare. And, an expensive one!
Twice, this company sent the wrong parts. The first was a set of headlights. The mechanic, who I had to pay for his time, told me they didn't fit, so I let them know. They said, ok, send them back, we'll send the right ones. We paid for the right ones, which came, and were installed. We also ordered an air conditioner hose, which was ALSO the wrong one. Contacted them when it arrived, and they said to just throw it out and they would send the proper one. The proper one, however, was a bit more money. So we paid the extra and received the right hose.
Then, a couple of weeks went by and we hadn't received the refund for the wrong headlights. Contacted them several times and played 'not my department' tag. Finally, they said they would not be issuing a refund, as there was dirt on one of the connectors. The plastic covering the lights was intact, but it was also dirty.
So, we are over $600CAD poorer because they sent the wrong parts, and now they have the parts and won't send them unless we pay to have them shipped, and pay duty on them AGAIN.
Avoid giving your money to this company! Chances are that what seems like a good deal will end up being a good deal of trouble and wasted money. Don't trust their own reviews! We have tried a few times to post this review on their site, but they simply remove any comments they don't like.

Very bad customer service, as of last week. 11/5/22
I ordered a front powerstop brake kit for $500. The caliper is defective installed by ASE certified shop. Seal is leaking upon test. I was on the phone & customer rep asked for proof ( video of the leak) I took pictures and their action is: now wait 3-5 days so the company can review your pictures. Then we will decide!?!? Wtf?!?!? I also had to pay to put my old brake caliper back on & now pay again to install! I asked them to email me a return label that day so I can ship it immediately, they did not do it. I will never order from this sketchy company again! Do yourself a favor - read the reviews & save yourself a huge headache & money! They suck. Pure and simple - They suck!

STOP! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY BY FAR TO ORDER FROM! I ORDERED SOME RIMS THAT THEY STATED FIT MY SUV WHICH IN FACT THEY DID NOT! I WAS INSTRUCTED TO TAKE PICTURES TO PROVE THEY DON'T FIT AND I PROVIDED THEM! IT TOOK A MONTH OR SO TO RECEIVE A (RMA) RETURN MATERIAL LABEL FROM THIS COMPANY. THE COMPANY RECIEVED THE RETURNED RIMS BACK ON 10. 26. 22 AND IT'S NOW NOVEMBER 7TH AND I'M STILL AWAITING A REFUND. EACH WEEK I CALL THEY SAY THE SAME THING 5 MORE BUSINESS DAYS THEY STILL HAVE NOT CHECKED THESE RIMS. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE! Unusable Fenders

***** Update*** Carid reached out to me after this review to try to make this right. While still not happy with the fenders, at least they did the right thing by working with us. Customer service was nice to deal with. Be aware product will need a lot of altering to make them work. If we would have know this, we would not have ordered them. Maybe if you are doing the work yourself, it would be worth it. Might use them again in the future with lots of research.

This was our second order with them. That last one was about a year ago. This order was junk and can't be used. Bumpers were not the worst thing but fenders were not usable. It was over $300 to ship back so we are just out all the money. When we contacted them they said they don't make them to attach to your car. You need a body shop to form them. We were quoted $500 just to get the fenders to be usable. Seeing how the fenders were only $370 that seems stupid that we need to spend $500 to make them usable.

From what I see, the order was placed on your end without the assistance of our agents. The product ordered is advertised as "raw" and due to the material and processes used in production, products will not be a “direct bolt-on.” Duraflex products may need prepping, sanding, shaving, filling gaps, and/or other bodywork. We highly recommend that a professional “custom” shop with fiberglass body kit experience perform the installation. Auto shops experienced in OEM installations may not be experienced in aftermarket fiberglass installations.
