Terrible quality and deceptive marketing. I would not recommend this tool. It is not user friendly at all.
Iam Designer who can use canva platform for making An Amazing Design, what you have to know that is canva is helping me in my business to grow my desgin and be creative.
How they got me ok so I called in to let them know I was not able to print my flyer or share it and I needed some help not even in print preview would Not be able to see the whole page. When I called I got foreign man telling ok I need you to log on to this web page and I can help after I explained probably 5mins or half my situation I thought he knew what he was doing. Then he logs on takes over my computer and tells me I have many viruses on my computer that explains why I can not print (b. S.), I knew off the back it was (b. S) he went ahead and told me I need to give him my last name and email which he should be able to pull up since I am a memeber and he needed a visa or master card. Why because he would be charging me $199 to get rid of my viruses. At this point I was pissed I told him I called for a printing issues and I know my computer was not detected with a virus for sure and I was recently hacked on Facebook humm very suspect. So I told him I wanted to speak to someone in customer service he yelled at me and told me NO! And said good bye have a nice day.!. Please explain to me wtf is going on because I am highly scared I changed all my passwords and account info due to this incident.
I get 5-10 spam emails form these crooks a week! They use scamed email addresses! Not a trust worthy company!
Don't use the free trial. It is a trap. I'd accept an 11 month refund but charging for the whole year is bull$#*!.
Thank you for such a wonderful opportunity to make an ideal images for my own blog! It's simple to use and free
BE CAREFUL WHEN REVIEW YOUR WORK PRIOR TO PURCHASING - SOMETIMES IT AUTOMATICALLY CHARGES PRIOR TO WATERMARK PROOFING - THEY DO NOT GIVEN YOU A REFUND. THIS IS NOT A CUSTOMER FRIENDLY SERVICE.
I use canva for my assignment and you know what I use a free template I am charged money they scam you this is an awful website it's full of cancer!
Had to use this for a schools project. The whole class hated it and so did I. The scaling is terrible and the graphs have the mind of their own.
Awful templates that steal work off from designers. Stay away from this service if you want to keep the creative industry from going down the drain.
I did the free trial and found the software to be just what I needed to create a collage of photo at very high resolution print quality. The cloud based approach worked well for me with good web connectivity which I have. I am not a professional so decided not to take on the subscription, however I found it a bit tricky to unsubscribe from the website (not possible via the app). Unfortunately whilst working this out I was charged for a month subscription. Trying to recover this situation was concerning as the website does not seem to offer a button to cancel (just goes back to options to have a monthly or annual subscription) and the latency in their servers makes you wait to process a complaint... seemingly to the point they are trying to avoid complaints (which I later found not to be the case). I was wondering if I had been scammed and was very concerned about the posts in this website. Subsequently I sent a responding email to my billing, requesting a refund and account closure and also I managed to get a complaint through online. Either way, within 30mins I had 3 emails back. One issuing a refund, Two cancelling my account and Three from customer service following up my case. On that basis I am pretty confident I will get my refund back and will not be charged further (I will update if not the case). I would certainly give Canva a chance based on my experience. It has made me think twice about giving my credit card details over online though and next time would use PayPal if that was an option. Also I suggest that Canva look at this website and try to respond to some of the complaints which are quite serious accusations about their company.
The site has bugs and crashes all the time. It says "problem saving your design" and then starts over and over. I am looking for a good alternative.
Canva.com is a big scam. When you upload something, it will somehow bring in a 404 error and hard work goes to waste. Do NOT go to canva.com.
I asked to cancel my PRO account in the website.
The charges continued.
There is no one to talk to.
Bad experience.
I use it everytime I have to create some posters for my blog. I can do everything without a designer. Very easy to use!
This sucked. Order business cards and never received it. They also removed my order's history. 1 star is still too much.
You have to email often for help. Several emails later I got a coupon. Decent but they could step it up.
The worst support team you will ever come across. Have been trying to resolve an issue for weeks now
Worst experience ever and a complete rip-off. I have never been more disappointed. Repeated emails with no response.
Canva is a great tool for what it is. An easy way to create images. You can use it for free and the premium membership is about $9-13/month. I don't remember exactly and it depends on the duration of the membership.
I started using Canva 2 years ago on the free membership and I upgraded to premium a year ago because I started a blog and I wanted more images. Before going premium, I tried the free trial a couple of times and I could cancel them very easily. (The first time I forgot to cancel, so I had to pay for a month, but I cancelled it and, at the end of the - paid - month my subscription got cancelled as it should.) And they sent me at least two emails - maybe three?- to inform me that the free trial was running out. I was just stupid and didn't check my emails.
I don't know what's wrong with people complaining about Canva - they may have had a different experience than I had. Or they are just getting paid by other platforms or work there. I don't know.
Of course, for all you know maybe, I'm getting paid for writing this. I'm not, but you can't know this, can you?: P
Anyway, paranoia aside, just try the free membership. Even the free membership is a great one. The only thing I really mind in the free membership is that you can't save images with transparent background. (At least, when I was on the free membership.) So I was using Lunapic for removing the background - it was a pain, to be honest.
(I use a lot of times the phrases "free trial" and "free membership", so to avoid confusion, let me make something clear. There are two memberships - free and premium. There is a 30-day free trial if you want to check out the Premium membership, and you get charged if you don't cancel before it runs out.)
Answer: That was one of my issues. No active link to cancel the free trial subscription.
Answer: There is zero support. Until they do something about it, don't begin with them. Try Snappa instead.
Canva has a rating of 1.8 stars from 259 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Canva most frequently mention customer service, free trial and phone number. Canva ranks 490th among Graphic Design sites.
