I am completely in love with this site. It is reasonably priced, our first experience was at hotel in London this passed weekend and my family had an amazing and blessed weekend.

This website is engaged in fraudulent advertising and will charge your credit card without making the hotel booking. They send a "Confirmation" email, but if you call the hotel they have no record of the booking. They will then later "cancel" the booking and tell you that "at the last minute someone booked the room at the price we offered you." They say they will refund your money, but do not do so, and then their customer service says it must be a problem with your bank--my bank is very reliable and said that no refund had been processed.
They then removed the lower price from their website--but within a few hours had reposted the price that had become unavailable at the last minute. Definitely a fake listing or misleading listing.
The customer service was incredibly rude and unhelpful, and clearly only just reading from a script of prepared answers. They refused to identify the corporation behind cancelon.com or any other information about its practices. This is definitely a scam.
All the positive reviews they post are also obviously fake and written by bots. Avoid at all costs.

Don't Browse but rather RUN from this site. Similar to many others and Tanya A's post from 6/3/19 my wife booked a night (one night) thru Cancelon and when we received our confirmation we noted the date was wrong so we called them asking them to simply correct/change the date by one nigh (not even a refund request). We were told there was "nothing" they could do but when we pressed them, they said ok they would have a committee review our request and get back to us in 72 hours. Reply came back via e-mail sorry no changes allowed. Next we called the hotel (Ala Moana Surfrider in Hawaii) and they were totally understanding and willing to make the date change but they would need Cancelon's approval. We stayed on hold while they called Cancelon. Guess what? Cancelon refused to authorize the change. We will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and any other agency to file a complaint and inform them of Cancelon's dirty business practices. Don't Browse, but rather RUN from this rat of a merchant. As a side note Trivago was the one who led us to this rather unscrupulous merchant so beware. When we disputed the charge with our credit company (still in process) the reply from Cancelon was they contacted the hotel and tried to change the date but they were unwilling to do this. Lying Thieves They Are. RUN!
I booked our trip through cancelon to the Aruba Surf Club. Upon arrival, I was not happy with the room. I asked the hotel if I could upgrade. They said I had to contact Cancelon. I attempted numerous times over the time we spent there. They did not respond quickly nor did they do anything about it. They kept telling me I had to deal with the hotel and the hotel said since I booked with them I would have to upgrade through them. NEVER AGAIN! TERRIBLE COMPANY1
STAY AWAY! I booked a room in Brooklyn in my Wife's Name (big surprised I paid in advance for my wife). She show's up for the pre-paid room, provides different CC for incidentals... FLAG. They CAN'T honor the pre-paid room reserved in her name because she has the wrong card. It's PRE-PAID! It's in HER NAME!

Cancelon is website that uses 3rd party vendors to book your reservation. We rented a hotel for 1 night in Las Vegas and in an attempt to contact the hotel to add an additional night, the hotel stated they had NO reservation on file for me. I called cancelon to speak with them regarding the matter in which they stated they would send me a confirmation email with my reservation number in the next 24 hours. This all occurred on a monday, tuesday came and we received NO email. I called again and was given the same statement. Wednesday came and NO email. This process happened up until friday which was the day before our hotel reservation. I called them again and they stated to give them 2 hours. No email came. The reservations are non refundable so they refused to give me my money back. Cancelon is a SCAM booking site and I hope everyone takes my advice when I say use someone more secure such as expedia. I currently have my bank disputing the charge for fraud investigations on cancelon. They informed me this happens all the time with Cancelon. I've learned my lesson and will never book through them again.

They took my money but then cancelled my booking. Their answer to that was another booking was made just before mine. Refund? Within the next 24-48 hours.

THey have taken a payment for a hotel straight away £813 pounds then turned around and cancelled straight away when I asked for a confirmation and then said I need to WAIT 10 DAYS for a REFUND. THESE GUYS WILL NOT HELP YOU! All they will say is sorry we can not do anything. P. s this is legitimately the first time I have ever left a bad review I don't usually believe in tarnishing a company's reputation but if I'm saving some one else from what I'm going through right now then this is my only option!
I tried booking a room for a hotel in Philadelphia, got linked to their site by Google because of a $117 listing after fees which for Downtown Philly is a steal. I go to fill out the information and at the end hit submit in the 30minute booking window for it to spit out an error of "Room is unavailable"
I check back 30-40 minutes later, listing is still up, same result.
At this point I used their in-site Customer Service chat. I give them the exact location I'm booking for, they look into it and say for me to refresh my cache and try again since the listing should be up. Same Result
The CS rep then goes and makes a custom booking page for me to work with... for the Philippines... I point this out to them and they ask again for where I'm trying to book, they look again and say there's 0 rooms available.
I asked them why they were keeping several listings up for a hotel that is no longer available and put an end to the conversation.
First and last time I'll try to book through them.

Booked thru TripAdvisor, somehow this company was the middle man. Cancelon charged my credit card immediately, had my hotel stay at which point the hotel charged me again despite my assurances I had already paid via Cancelon. They had no record. I have emailed Cancelon many times, they said I would have my refund in 10-14 days - it is now 14 days and they 'need more time". DONOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Note that the price they quote is without fees and taxes, which suddenly appear when you book. I also clicked on a listing and when i got to the site it was nearly 3 times the price.
I went to the world wide web in search of the hotel for a weekend get away and was directed to Cancelon. I proceeded to select my hotel of choice and my days. All good right. I paid and got a confirmation letter with the WRONG departure date. I looked for somewhere to adjust the date to have it corrected, didn't see one. So I canceled that one with in minutes did another reservation with the correct date. All is good. I paid and we have our weekend plan. I called the hotel the following Monday and they do not have a reservation. Cancelon had canceled that one as well. With it being Labor Day weekend all the rooms I needed were no longer available. Here is what really gets me. They are charging me a cancellation fee on both of them. I did not cancel the second one and the first one was an error on the website. When I called the customer line, I was told if I go and book it again that they would wave one of the fees. Really, Why would I do that just to have more issues.
Here is what I'm left with-No hotel reservation and 100 USD in fees they are charging for trying to use this company. With errors happening on there end.
I don't usually write bad reviews but I figured people should know before CancelOn ruins your weekend.

Cancellon is completly a swindle. I booked two times through them and both has been cancelled but they take your money and take some days to transfer you again.

Cancelon (Hotel Booking) is too Risky
Cancelon (Hotel Booking) sucks! I had no idea how big a risk they are. Unfortunately I could not give them a zero. Based on horrific reviews from other sites I was nervous about the reservation we made for a special place in Oahu that we always wanted to stay. I assumed since they charged me the same day, my reservation would be confirmed. The hotel had nothing. So i called the very courteous, but fake and lying, customer support people who asked me to allow another 72 hours. Then they sent another e-mail asking for another 6 days. After two more weeks of being strung along I called and was told that the hotel was booked and due to some fabricated circumstance, they were unable to place us there, but were looking for alternatives. We realized the hotel was actually not booked. The customer service guy in India was going to put us in some alternative place, but complaining to some guy in a third world country about equivalent accommodations seemed like a minor issue to him. They were not willing to refund me until waiting up tot he lastt day. Not a risk I am willing to take. So i called my credit card company who backed me up and cancelled the reservation and made our own booking which cost us over $1500 for trusting and waiting on Cencelon (also known as Hotel Booking).
Their business is that they take your payment immediately and hope (statistical gamble) that someone will cancel the room you want for the same hotel and same dates. Not at all worth it.

I booked a hotel on cancelon.com that I found using the Trivago website. I received an email confirmation and there was a pending charge on my credit card for the full amount. More than an hour later they sent me an email saying they were giving me a refund because that rate was no longer available. My reservation was being canceled. Of course, my credit card did not show any pending refund. Their customer service rep. Was no help at all. I had to make a new reservation for the higher rate. Now, both charges are pending on my credit card. I'll find out next week if I really have a reservation and if I really receive a refund.
How can any computer system not know for more than a hour that a rate was not available?
Seriously bad business practice.
Update Sept. 26,2017; After this incident, my hotel was listed by CancelOn for LESS than my original reservation. I still do not understand how this can happen with today's technology. However, I was contacted by them and they have issued a refund to me for $70. Note that this is still a few dollars more than that new price they advertised for this hotel.

Buyer Beware!
10/17/17: I purchased a hotel rental and received an email stating "We received your payment for reservation... you will get your email confirmation shortly". On 10/18/17 (more than 24 hours later) I still hadn't received said confirmation. Upon calling I was told a manager would call me back as the reservation was "declined". I asked had it been my credit card. The agent said no it had been declined on the side of the hotel. After further discussion I realized his english was limited and what he was trying to say is that the hotel was sold out, he didnt have the authority to book another hotel and that the manager was unavailable. I declined the call back and asked to hold for a supervisor. 33 minutes later I get a supervisor on the line(also limited english) who explained they were sold out and that he could book a similar hotel at 3 times the original cost of my original reservation. Sent me a cancellation email. Still not refunded. I explained had I not called I would be under the assumption that I had a reservation booked for 10/20/17. He kept apologizing. Needless to say its why I stay away from these pop up websites that clearly do not have it together. No refund yet. Filed a dispute.
