Same problems as everyone else: slow (Dec. 17 order arrived Jan. 1st) and expensive ($16 for two pairs of pj's) shipping, package arrived torn, products utter crap (could've done much better for cheaper at Target), one t-shirt twice as big as the other despite being the same size, special print on one t-shirt is crooked and strangely hardened (can't wait to see how that washes up), pj bottoms very poorly seamed and fabric is thin junk. Also had one order cancelled due to claimed licensing problem yet no one bothered to communicate with me about said problem. Order status never changed from "in production" and no one responded to emails, so no way to get information. Email replies that finally showed up (after Christmas) were clearly form letters written by someone in India. I will never, ever purchase from this company again, and neither should you.
Looks like I've joined the "been screwed by cafepress" club here... never going to order from them again. They won't respond to emails and their phone # is a recording. I wish there was some way to warn others about them. Cafepress, you SUCK.
Ordered 2 tee-shirts on Nov. 22 as Christmas gifts. Today is Dec. 18--no shirts yet, but my credit card has already been charged! Two email inquiries have gone unanswered, and a phone call to the customer service number yielded a recorded message that said, "We cannot take your call at this time."
Never, ever again.
So, I bought a shirt for my husband... Made 3 attempts to get help starting a return and no response at all. I do not recommend unless you like being stuck with stuff you don't want or cannot use. Order #*******
I ordered some custom iPhone cases, and even though I had quality issues with the products, CafePress issued replacements free of charge, and when the second order was defective, they gave me a full refund. So few companies have customer service anymore, especially in a solely online retailer, but they do in spades.
I've had CafePress stores since 2004. They have always produced decent products and shipped them fast enough. I think the prices are high--definitely retail, but hey, it is what it is.
Today, I visited one of my stores and there were items in it that I did not put there. There was a store I didn't create and I'm wondering if anyone else have experienced this.
Another issue I find is that when I search for my store name, I get all sorts of returns, and it's often hard to find my stuff, with an exact search.
So, if you want to make a few fun items, CafePress will do just fine, but if you're trying to capture a little revenue, I think there's better ways to do that.
I have ordered many times from cafepress and been happy with my purchases. Only once did I receive an item that was printed slightly off center or I would have given 5 stars. The items arrive in a timely fashion. Would recommend
Good quality cotton - accurate descriptions and sizing. Would recommend. Here are two reasons why you lost a star 1) would like web site filters to include size to speed up the browsing and 2) t shirts arrived with a lack of presentation and mine were purchased as a gift xx
I bought 2 pillow cases that were said to be cotton, upon arrival the border on the cases was a black fabric that picks up dust, pet hair and fuzz as well as any lint roller. The website does not allow reviews of their products.
We have not had a lot of sales yet as we are just getting stores up and beginning promotions and marketing. But a few too many of our buyers complain that the shirt products they want are unavailable, enough to warrant our real concern as a seller, questioning CP support of product stock. We are wondering if it's possible to get general notices of unavailable products on some forum there or by email. Nonetheless, this is really troubling for us. Is this an on-going issue for CP?
My husband received a fathers day mug from our son, it came damaged. I called the customer service number I found on this site and they were very helpful. They said they would be sending us a new one. Now, I just did this so obviously haven't received it yet. Trusting in their word, while writing this. :)

Since our first negative experience with the duvet for my son, we have received the replacement at no cost. This time the image is flawless and it arrived rather quickly. Although I prefer it be made if a different less heavy material, my son is happy and loves it! Glad I gave them another chance.

My son is in the military. He got deployed in April of 2022 and won't return until April of 2023. I bought my first 26 cards on CafePress so I could send him one card every week. I sent an email to CafePress to see if I could get a discount for ordering so many cards at once. I received a very nice email response from a young lady that thanked me for his deployment but also gave me a discount code for the cards. After I sent out the 26 cards I needed more. So I went and made another purchase of 15 more cards. I didn't request a discount I just made the purchase because my son said he loved getting the cards and some of them made him laugh so hard by the pictures or the sayings on the cards. The quality of these cards were above my expectations and the customer service was excellent. I will continue to purchase these cards even when my son returns home. Thank you Cafepress.
I ordered two hoodies on the Cafepress site.
They arrived in a week, all right. However, the quality is low.
The print is very dull, nothing compared to the colors and the look on the pictures on the site.
The fabric is not thick, and there is a lot of dangling thread.

I ordered Clothing and it is not true to size. I ordered XL and it is like a Medium. I cannot wear them and it is not cost effective to send them back. So, I loose all the way around. The quality was fine, but I cannot wear it.
I ordered three magnets; one was printed fine, the other two had obvious flaws (a black dot at the top of one and crooked placement of the graphic on the other). It took almost two months and many e-mails before I received replacements for the poor print job. They don't seem to proof all of their printing before sending out the items.
T-shirts are good quality and come in a real variety. The real highlight was their customer service. I mis-ordered and they made it right, no charge. Shipping is fairly expensive, but otherwise very satisfied.
At the $65 price each, I thought I would be receiving a couple really nice shower curtains. One came very blurry and pixelated. The other less blurry but you can see text imposed on it. Actual letters! Hello, quality control, anyone there?!?! I'll be watching my bank account too, given some of these reviews. I should have skipped this site.
Terrible shipping! So unhappy and I will not be ordering again since items don't ship on dates you pay for! And of course customer service doesn't give a shh you didn't get your item that was a gift as expected.
Ordered a pin and when i checked out said 8-12 day delivery or something like that but to my surprise it came in like 4 days! Also to my liking unlike other sites where you buy things from the item looked exactly like it was pictured! Pretty awesome site.
Answer: I believe the company did a great job on growth and promoting the "little guy" and November 2013 they changed policies, changed production, changed items and product quality and reduced shop owners commissions on their way to becoming greedy. They made the company a public traded entity on the stock market and was out for themselves. They got rich, the stocks fell, the products became of poor quality, and August of 2014 the president, CEO bailed out and left. To regroup they have tried to add companies like Marvel Comics, Snoopy and other big names to keep the losses from poring in, instead of supervising quality and buying a better quality product.
