I ordered two coasters as a gift to someone who was leaving the company. It takes 10 days to receive anything from this. They lie saying they are shipping by fedex but arrives by USPS. Horrible customer service. Irresponsible, cheating and lying to customers not to mentioned severely overpriced.

I've ordered from Cafe Press for several years. This was the worst this year. Only given one shipping notification, though I've received two packages (yet still missing things). Also, the last box showed up with two of my many items, then a package packed in the box for someone else? I've tried to email (no response), I tried calling today (no reps on since it's the holiday? I'm still working for another day!), tried the online chat (after waiting 5 minutes, it tells me no chat reps available try again later). I've now sent yet another email (a bit more heated). We will see. I will never order from them again.
I needed help with an exchange and cafepress not only responded immediately, but fully refunded my purchase without any hassles and allowed me to keep the product for donation to charity. You can tell a really great seller by how they handle a problem - 5 stars to cafepress.
Items promised between 12-16-13 and 12-19-13. Arrived 12-31-13. Plates and mugs were packed poorly (just stacked and taped together with no paper or padding between them (cheap tape--difficult to remove). Then taped up in a torn up cafe press box and then rolled in an inordinate amount of bubble wrap and put into an outer box that was overstuffed and left the top and bottom deformed.
Products themselves had decals that were applied crooked, some were scratched, and some were illegible.
Waiting to see if they will give me prepaid shipping for the return and a full refund (including shipping). I'm filing a dispute on the credit card charge.
It's the lies which spoil it for me. The estimated delivery dates are a load of rubbish. The site states things like your order will be dispatched in the next 24-48 hours when it hasn't even been made. Ordered Christmas gifts and ended up cancelling the order last minute. I've no longer got time to order the personalised gifts I wanted online from else where causing stressful last minute shopping. Not what you want when you want to enjoy the festive period. They should seriously consider the repercussions of taking on orders they can not fulfil. Will never consider buying from them again. If it was a UK company I would be reporting them to watchdog.
Over three weeks wait for a delivery and still not arrived! Customer care zero - will not respond to e-mails and I'm out of pocket £52. Gifts ordered for 18'th birthday present - what a disappointment. Dispute now raised against merchant would like to give no stars but unfortunately cannot.
Fantastic! Site is very easy to navigate and I was able to easily design a custom shirt for my son which he loved (no small feat with a teenage boy)!

Ordered a $72 Scottish throw blanket. Very disappointed. Expected better quality since the cost was high. Blanket is very thin and flimsy. Wish I could return it but it's a gift (requested) for my grandson's birthday and I don't have time to get another one. Will not shop with Cafepress again. Delivery was on time. Lena
Ordered 3 things for Christmas; 1 of them arrived on 12/24, although the packing slip/receipt indicated all three were in the box. Called today and was told one of the items was no longer available and the other would be re-shipped. We'll see. VERY disappointed and will not do business with cafepress again. Amazon should cut their ties as well.
First time ordering from CafePress and it was a great experience! My mug arrived in perfect condition with good packaging before the expected delivery date. I contacted customer service a few times to receive an order update and they were very helpful and e-mailed me back the same day. Outstanding customer service. Will definitely be ordering from here again.
A friend of mine who lives in Canada purchased a gift from Cafe Press for my birthday and had it shipped to me in the greatest country on earth - the USA. The item was promptly delivered in perfect condition. My friend was a bit off on the size so I inquired about an exchange with customer support. The service was outstanding. They quickly made everything right at no extra charge. I can't say enough good things about this online purchase experience!
I have spent many hours opening stores and creating original designs to be viewed on CafePress. To give you a great example of the degree of my getting ripped off, I just sold a coffee mug for the retail price of $11.89 - I was paid $. 59 in royalties. If you are really serious about selling your design on t-shirts and other items, Redbubble and Zazzle are far better places. What CafePress is doing should be illegal!
I ordered printed, adhesive, outdoor No Smoking signs. They were delivered very quickly. The printing was excellent and the adhesive-backed vinyl stock has performed wonderfully. I would definitely recommend!
Recently I ordered a pair of flip flops. It cost around $15 and shipping was $6. The date that I ordered them was July 8. As I said it cost $6 to get them to me by July 21. Still have not got them (today is 7/25). Like I told them "Hmm, one pair of flip flops, takes over two weeks to ship, over $6 in shipping costs. I'm sure I'll be shopping here again." They were deeply sorry for this inconvenience so that is why they got 2 stars. The flip flops have been promised an Aug 5 delivery. We'll see. Oh they said I could keep the pair from the other order should it arrive. I'm sure mistakes happen but for six dollars they could have sent it first class mail(they use DHL which I suppose I could write another review).
Beware! After a purchase in April they started charging me $9.95 a month for membership. I did not agree too or authorize this charge. It's one of those you will be enrolled unless you specifically opt out or cancel. It's in the fine print on an email or coupon (if you use one). I did not catch it for 3 months. I'm calling Cafepress (not hopeful of a refund), contacting the credit card company (fraud/unauthorized charges), and contacting the state AG, (consumer protection bureau). This is a SCAM, avoid business with cafepress.
I have ordered from this company for several years and have to say they do not disappoint. I do a lot of custom items which can tend to be pricey at low quantities, which can make one nervous when ordering. But have no fear, if you are at all unsatisfied with what you get, they take care of you like champs! So order away, don't delay, cause cafepress will make your day!
This used to be my favorite store for on-line shopping. It is now THE worst store online. I don't know what happened, but service has changed dramatically. They are always either slow in delivering or the items don't arrive at all. The worst part though? Getting through and communicating with their customer reps! This is an ordeal! They are quickly catching up to amazon.com is poor customer relations. That is not a comparison that any business wants, believe me. It is very safe to say that I am done with them for good.
It's all about world domination... and if you let them, the Corgis will take over. I bought this for my daughter who is being held hostage by one considerably smaller Cardigan. I'm confident she will like it. She'd better, if she knows what's good for her. The dog knows where she sleeps.
These guys steal from the artists who create the designs on their website. Nothing short of thieves. They also heavily censor their Facebook page, remove all negative comments, and block anybody who complains. AVOID!
Answer: I believe the company did a great job on growth and promoting the "little guy" and November 2013 they changed policies, changed production, changed items and product quality and reduced shop owners commissions on their way to becoming greedy. They made the company a public traded entity on the stock market and was out for themselves. They got rich, the stocks fell, the products became of poor quality, and August of 2014 the president, CEO bailed out and left. To regroup they have tried to add companies like Marvel Comics, Snoopy and other big names to keep the losses from poring in, instead of supervising quality and buying a better quality product. If you want to see their spread sheet of losses, and their news headlines since please feel free.
