I have complained repeately about the "Lite Plan" should be set as default to avoid the system mistickenly set back the bidding to "Standard Plan", and therefore cost more fees than necessary as a result. Unfortunately my voice had been fallen into deaf ears of Buyee's Customer Service. But as a over 7-years costomer since 2013, I would still recommend Buyee for Yahoo! Auction JAPAN.
Buyee is a a great site for anyone who is looking for quality Japanese products. Buyee provides an excellent consolidation service that I am really satisfied with. Different shipping options there are impressive as well.

Everything is very simple to use, just be carefull about shipping cost, it's different than on eBay, you will paid local and international shipping together at the end, before shipping, and not at the end of the bidding process.
Shipping costs are not clear on all yahoo auctions, but I love to search new items on Buyee, and filters are very efficient.
Shopping with Buyee was a nightmare. I had to reach out to customer service upwards of 50-80 times because they ignored requests, neglected to reply, misunderstood, used confusing English, changed customer service rep for every single email sent, misreported package weight and content, and in the end shipped the package with tons of mistakes. This company reeks of a scam. The customer service reps use polite terms, but that doesn't help when they refuse to give out information, or consistently offer misinformation and contradictory statements.
I ended up overpaying for a shipment lacking in contents and after 2 months delay. One parcel never made it. I'm probably looking at a $3000 loss.
There are so many red flags with Buyee that I don't know where to begin. I regret ever taking a chance on them.
I haven't received anything yet as I just placed my orders but I find the big discounts offered useful, prices are good and shipping coupons make the experience even better as it ends up being absolutely free. I will continue to use the proxy service, thank you!
Buyee has a great variety of clothing with great prices. It is sus that after my item is shipped to their warehouse I have to ship it again. I haven't received my package yet, but it has only been 2 days since i shipped it. I also wish sellers where more specific about their sizing.
Buyee contacted me saying that because they didn't put my full name on the package, I had to pay for shipping a second time to fix the error. I had no choice but to pay double the cost for my package, and it was delayed by 2 weeks due to a mistake on their company's part.

Hi! Recently I have bought lots items from Buyee, especially Tomica diecast and Starbucks mini cups.
I can find more variety items'products that I am looking for.
There are some items that I can't find at other sites like Ebay, Amazon, etc.
In here Buyee sites, I can get more items that I want.
Hope I can get more varieties items for my collection.
Hopefully, I can get the coupon discount for my incoming international shipping cost.

Buyee is a great service tool for getting items from Japan right to your doorstep! It's easy to use and cheap as well. Everyone has to use the Buyee service!
Been using Mercari especially for Mercari purchases, and it's easy. I use Paypal, since they won't accept cards- well my cards atleast. They ship the items within 2 days as well after payment and they got a lot of options, and you can even request them to downsize the weight of your item. The only thing though is they do not allow modifying the prices. Hahahaha!

After being a customer of Buyee for years, I'm never using their proxy service again. Things on this site have definitely not changed for the better. So I recently purchased a item and within days, the order had been cancelled. Strike one. Continuing in, I tried to purchase the same collectible under a new listing (hoping it had just been an issue on the seller's end). Everything seemed to be going well until shipping. Buyee has limited all their options to DHL (which has a poor reputation) and sea mail. Both of which, come with their own issues. Choosing sea mail, I had been waiting over a month for the package with no updates to the tracking number. Strike Two. I decided it would be best to file a claim with my billing office and let them know it hadn't come. They reached out to Buyee and no one responded within the time frame. They decided in my favor and I thought the issue was over. Instead, it seems like Buyee just woke up and sent an invoice demanding I return that payment. Otherwise, they will refuse service to my account. Sure, pay for something you didn't receive and may never. All that matters is we get your money. Nice job Buyee, you've just lost a customer. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere...
Update: So its been a couple days since I posted this review and Buyee has continued with their nasty emails. I won't reveal the representative's name out of respect for them but its been made very clear their all about the money. My claim for the lost item was only refunded because of their lack of response. Instead, they can't even address that issue and rather send empty threats of termination. To add on, I've been hit with the "we're not eBay line" and "we're sorry your delivery (they meant to say tracking) isn't updating fast enough for you"'. Very rude individual and it they did their job, this wouldn't have been happening. Will NEVER deal with them again!
