I collect Anime Figurines since 10 Years now, and i know how they got produced in china, and why they are in a very bad condition sometimes, even if they come straight from the factory,... cause the quality control is usually not that good.

My General Motorcycle Importer for Yamaha in Swiss was not even able to get me ANY of those parts for my YSR, that i have just ordered from CMS, and al the parts where genuine Yamaha parts for a price that i still can not believe, their package arrived just a few day´s later, very clean and neat.
A perfect Christmas gift for me and my YSR, thank you again CMS.

Tip for consumers:
I am so thankfull that i found this supplier for Motorcycle parts, even the General importer for Yamaha in my country ( Swiss ) was not even able to get me any of those parts that i needed to restore my Yamaha YSR, so of course i ordered al the parts from CMS, and they arrived only a few day´s later
at my doorstep, al the parts where Genuine Yamaha parts correctly labeled and brand new.
My YSR is from 1988, so over 30 years old, but they stlil managed to have the parts, which is just amazing.

Sandblasting is not Rocket Science, it is a very simple straight forward process, so it is even more surprising that someone could mess it up so badly like they did.
I went there in Oct. 2021with some Motorcycle parts, like frame, rim´s and footpads, so the demanded job was very simple, remove the old paint job and some light rust on the surface of the Mainframe.
Four week´s later they informed me that the job was done and i could pick up the parts at their shop…boy was i surprised as i saw the result,
They clearly failed to understand what the customer wanted from them to do with the parts,
Clean them, paint them… that was the job description! Very Simple.
You can see the result in the attached pictures,
The original paint ( it was Red) on the rims shines thru so heavily that it´s impossible to overlook.
The Job they did on the frame is even worse,
It should be Silver, but the spray paint coat is so thin and uneven that you can see the Spraycoat Primer on almost 60 % of the frame surface, plus several spot´s of rust which still remains even after the sandblast job, which would be impossible if they did a proper work on the part! …there still a few spot´s with remaining rust.
But what really pisses me off was the reaction to my complaint from the owner…first they apologized, then they try to play it down with comments like; if you feel that the parts need a
Re work, just come by and we will take a look at them
To discuss further actions…?! What is there to discuss?!
They did a bad job in booth section, first the sandblasting was messed up, and after that the powder coating which was equally bad...
What is the thought process here, that i drove back and forth several time and waste nearly 7 hour´s of my time because of their failure!? …without any compensation?
If they failed the first time, you could not expect that they will do a better job the second time, what kind of behavior is that?
…and how many try´s do they need to do a proper job?!
If you make an error, you have to admit it, and not play it down like they did and blame the customer for it, who paid you to do a proper job in the first place, which you did not!
That is not the right way to operate a business.
Can i recommend it? No!

Tip for consumers:
If you care about a clean and flawless work, don´t let them sandblast your part´s.
Most of their Google Local Scout Review´s are from Neighbours and employee´s
and his partner shop who does the powder coating job´s for him.

I know a lot of Music Dealer, like the Guitar center in L. A. or the House of Sound in Basel or Music Store in Cologne, but the Best of the Best is Thoman, and i will tell you why that is...
First of all, look wherever you want, you can not beat their sales prices because of their volume that they sell each single day, second is the knowledge of their employees, they just know what they doing, yes they are humans too, so of course they have good or bad days like anybody else,
But if you acting nice and friendly you will threaded the same way, usually i order the stuff that i need online because their location is just too far away to drive to them, but sure i went there a couple of time by myself to see the store, it is just huge, and absolutely worth the visit.
And the service is also very fast, last time i ordered by them it took them only 4 days to deliver it to me, and that includes custom too ( over the border, Germany - Swiss) still unbelivable to me.
And of course you can track your parcel online without a problem, and the always handle their goods nice and clean, and it will arrive in a very good condition.
So in my opinion Thoman is just the best Music dealer there is, online and as a real store in the real world, just go there and see for yourself.

Tip for consumers:
Visit their store if you have time, it is really worth the visit especially the Guitar section the selection is huge...

First of all, this is not my first try to use a so called proxy service to get goods from Japan stores or websites, cause it does not matter how much money you´ve got, sometimes business that are located in Japan do not want foreigners as customers, and that is a very sad fact, there are a lot of product where a disclaimer is printed on the package which tells you this " This Product is not for sale outside of Japan " or similar...
My first try was Buyee.jp, which is not even located in Japan, they got their headquartes in the UK, yes i´am not kidding, and it seems that there is a pattern with al those " Proxy Buyer Service´s, first you " win " the Auction if you use Yahoo. Auction which is very popular in Japan, then you wait til your goods arrive at their " Warehouse " and then the Rip-Of starts right away...
It is always the same, first they tell you that you can " choose " which shipping " Method " you want, but after your stuff arrived at their warehouse they cut all the affordable options and you have only the most expensive on there is left, in my case it was
Prior Fed Ex Shipping or DHL Express which is equally overpriced,. Not even that they categorized my stuff wrong, no, they even tempered with the weight it self and ad a few Kilogram to it,... of course they got a fee from the carrier company for every Premium Package they sell...
So i purchased a Frame for a Pocket Bike ( on Yahoo Auction Japan) for about 10.000 yen, and of course abracadabra al the
Affordable options are gone al of a sudden... sure they choose the most Expensive one for me FedEx Prior for only 48.000 Yen,
That is not only not what i wanted, it is just 5 times the amount of the purchased item, i would prefer sea freight, ok that might take 4 - 6 weeks, but hey i am not in a hurry... sure i do not pay that ridiculous shipment price, i rather let them discard it after 30 Days of Blackmailing, then that is exactly what that is, pay the overpriced shipment fee, or we throw it away... that is there policy.
I did not demand Air Mail Shipping, but there is no other option which i could choose from...
Is there any honest Proxy Buy goods from Japan Service out there i wonder?

Tip for consumers:
If you have very small goods, it is probably ok, but for larger items...please don´t use their " Rip of Service "
it is horribly overpriced, and they don´t let you choose the shipping method as they claimed before, and also wrote on their Website under " Shipping Methods "

I bid on few items, and purchased them already with my VISA Card, but i certainly do not pay that overpriced shipping fee, no way hosey.

Usually i have nothing against the so called Pre_Order sell... but if that happens 6 month´s in advance, and got delayed time after time, then i really lose the interest to come back and buy more stuff from them.
Last month i´ve ordered a pretty small Anime figure from the series yuru camp, for the figure i paid about 27 dollar, and for the shipping, which was not even Air Mail btw., no it was the ordinary EMS postal
Way, i paid about 42,- so al in al about 70,- dollar, for a Figurine which weight is about 30.5 gramm... that is far to much if you ask me...
But the most disappointing thing was that the paint job on the figurine itself, it was not that good at all, see the skirt section on the photo, yeah... but of course i know that Hobby Search is only the seller / Retailer and not the producer, so they are not to blame for that, but i wonder how much influence they got on that whole pre-order thing anyway?
And besides al those delay´s in the pre-order process does not make the consumer happy.
I remember one time where i was waiting 8 month´s for a figurine which was released by Figma, al that waiting is just to long, and i´am not the only one who is upset by the whole pre-order thing.

Tip for consumers:
There is no way to prevent of getting a Figurine who has a bad paint job or other damage, cause far as i know, the selling numbers of Hobby Search makes it almost impossible to check each item, when they arrive from the producer ( mostly from china of course ) if they are any damages on it or not...

Products used:
I purchased a Anime Figurine, which had a really bad paint job, the reason why i did not return it was that the shipping cost include taxes and custom fees would exeed far over 100,- Dollar, and the figurine itself had only a value of 1660 yen, so it was not really wort the effort.

I´ve purchased the 12 Months subscription package deal from NORD VPN because of some
Advertise clips on Youtube. If you buy a product, regardless what kind of, and realize that there is something wrong with it, what would you do?... of course; contact the customer Service, cause the FAQ list is never satisfied at al...

A company who blame the customer first after you confront them with the ERRORS of their bad designed Software, is just not worth any discussion.
There was not a single week during my 12 month subscription where the Servers of some country´s ( Taiwan, Korea, Czech, Canada just to name a few...) where not overloaded and not capable of handling any more customers ( please try another country, or come back later...)... really?
Come back later? Is that a joke? Not to mention constant system crashes, almost every single Day, funny fact besides all my other Programs include my OSX is running fine, Nord VPN ist the only one who causes contantly crashes, why is that? Well it is just bad designed that is why, contact the Customer Service is a waste of time and not worth the effort, after you gave them your Credit Card Number the Service is gone, by by customer... now that we have your Money we don´t need to hear from you anymore...
Even after i´ve canceled my membershipwith them, they just keep spamming me with dumb new discount offers for a new subscription contract... that is what i call " Total Ignorance "

Buyee.jp is in my opinion just a very bad example of some people who clearly don´t have any clue about business itself, i bid on a few items on Yahoo Auctions Japan, won them, paid the bill... and since then it just went downhill so far, they send me a bunch of just annoying E-Mails with lousy excuses and said that a few items where send back to them, because they where labeled wrong, yeah right and who is responsible for that? Of course Buyee.jp is... but see for yourself ( attached Jpeg).
Another bad thing about this company are their shipping fees, first they say that you could select the shipping method and the carrier, but after you won the auction you will see whats really going on... the shipping carrier and method are pre-selected and there is no way to change them, i bought amongst other parts a smal Motorcycle frame from a Yamaha YSR 50 the weight is about 9,5 Kilo, so the cheapest method would be Sea Cargo for that i would pay about 12.000 Yen wihch is ok cause i don´t need those parts tomorrow you know...
So i could not even chose EMS for arround 22.000 Yen, no no... the pre-selected the most expensive method there is for about 44.00 Yen which is about 4 times as much as necessary, i have nothing against a win for the company, but this is just a RIPP-OFF, if i ad all those Buyee fee´s and the shipping method which of course where pre-selected by Buyee.jp... i would pay the amount of the equivalent of 1200,- Dollar for the shippment, for that amount i could get a Flight to Tokyo myself include a capsule Hotel for 2 Days!
That is just a scam to me nothing else, so please stay away from that company, i´ve got the whole E-Mail correspondence with their so called customer Service and screen shots from my Buyee.jp account to proof al my accusations without a doubt! Japan zu kaufen, da nach wie vor viele Japanische Unternehmen keine ausländischen Kreditkarten akzeptieren, warum auch immer...

Vor kurzem habe ich über Buyee bei Yahoo Auction Japan einige teile für ein Motorrad ersteigert und angeblich auch gewonnen, zumindest habe ich bereits den Auktionspreis plus die gebühren plus die versandkosten bezahlt.

Da die 7 artikel die ich ersteigert habe nur wenige Tage auseinander lagen hatte ich logischerweise vor alles in einem grossen Paket zusammen zu fassen, was laut Buyee aber nicht möglich ist, und somit fängt der unsinn erst richtig an, bei Buyee gibt es selbsternannte " Shippment Experten " die offensichtlich sowohl das Unternehmen welches die waren transportiert als auch über die versandart entscheiden,... eigenartigerweise wird pauschal ALLES via Luftpost verschickt, bei einem Buch oder einer Figur mag das ja noch OK sein, aber wenn ich sehe das ich für einen winzigen Pocket Bike Rahmen ohne anbauteile umgerechnet fast 400,- Euro bezahlen soll, obwohl dieser nur 9,5 kilo wiegt und in der Auktion gerade mal ca. 55,- Euro gekostet hat, und ich natürlich gar nicht die option auf dem See weg verschicken auswählen kann, dann muss sich Buyee.jp die frage nach der Seriösität gefallen lassen, denn das grenzt schon an Betrug, zu mal angeblich 3 pakete die Buyee.jp zu mir schicken wollte, offenbar wieder zu Buyee.jp zurück geschickt wurden, diese wurden angeblich vom Japanischen Zoll als Hazardous Material eingestuft, es waren 2 verkleidungsteile, eine Hinterradschwinge und eine Felge,... nichts gegen Sicherheit, aber das ist einfach nur unsinn und hat mit Safety Risk nun mal rein rag nichts zu tun... ach so das wusste Buyee.jp nicht?
Wie lange sind die im Business? Seit gestern?

Noch besser finde ich das Buyee.jp mich via EMail auffordert auf meine " MyPage/Account " zu gehen und die erneute versendung der teile inklusive noch maliger Shipping fees zu veranlassen, seit wann muss
Denn der Kunde zahlen für etwas welches den Kunden noch gar nicht erreicht hatt?... so etwas habe ich überhaupt noch nie gehört...

Zum glück ist Buyee nicht der einzige Servicedienstleister der Einkäufe in Japan möglich macht, ich kann nur sagen Buyee.jp nein Danke, völlig konfuser EMail verkehr wo das eine Department offensichtlich nicht weiss was das andere dem Kunden gesagt hat, beweisfotos des EMail verkehr

Aktueller stand am 12 Dez. 2020 für 7 Artikel habe ich bezahlt, 3 sind angeblich zurückgekommen, und die restlichen 4 sind noch nicht angekommen, obwohl es in der Shipping doc. Hies EMS benötigt 2 Tage für die fracht, nun ja, rechnet man noch grosszügig ein paar für den Zoll im Empfänger Land dazu dann müssten die Teile ja eigentlich schon da sein :(
