WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. MISLEADING SHIPPING TIMES

Do not place an order! My item says it will be shipped in 2 weeks but here I am still waiting over a month already. Customer service will not resolve your issue and will come up with reasons and will keep pushing back the shipping time and will ghosts you. I wish I spent a little bit of more money and buy the item in a more reputable website like Crate and Barrel.

Order never came

One of the worst companies I've ever had to deal with. Order place before Christmas two months later …… nothing but a run around we have will ship in 7-10 business days. NOPE Tried to cancel another mess as it cannot because it's in processing. Buyer be warned!

Such a shame this co. Does not walk the talk. They carry many environmentally friendly items, but at least in my case, each of my 5 items ordered so far is arriving one at a time, each in its own oversize carton from the same city, Youngstown OH, with mounds of unnecessary wrapping paper. Companies need to tell you upfront so you can manage your order to be more efficient. As with Amazon, I recommend finding the supplier and ordering directly when possible.

No Service Seller

I bought a piece of furniture sold by multiple resellers. There was zero customer service by Burke. No notification that delivery would not be on time. No response to my inquiry about a failure to meet the delivery date. I paid $149 for white glove service. The piece arrived packed and the movers unwrapped it. It was filthy with dust. Yuk. No follow up by Burke. My delivery receipt indicated the piece was dirty.

First order, took over 8mons to get the item. I had to return one of the items, took 2months for $ refund; But, They claimed because of Pandemic. So, i gave them another try; This time, took about 2-3 months for a chair. Once, received did not like the workmanship, the cowhide leather is shedding to the touch. So, I have to call for the return (you can't do online), then have to wait for the form to be sent to me; i have to complete this form and email back. Then, i have to wait for the approval, once they approved it; have to wait for the warehouse to send me the airbill. Then, i have to drag a big box to drop off at fedex. After a month, no refund; no confirmation of receiving the return. I have to make Another phone call to ask for the status of my refund, They finally refund after 2-3 months. At the end, i lost over $150 for shipping cost plus %5 restocking fee for a $350 chair. No more shopping form this seller.

We purchased a loop paper towel holder from Burke Decor, which is meant to make it easy to remove a piece of paper towel with one hand since the roll is held in place by a spring arm. Unfortunately, when we received the item, we quickly learned that it is not functional. The spring arm grips the paper towel way too tightly, making it impossible to move the roll of paper towel. The paper towel roll literally does not move, no matter how hard you pull a sheet. Needless to say, we want to return the item. Once we went through Burke Decor's approval process for returning the $56.99 item, we were notified that there would be a 5% restocking fee. In addition, WE (not Burke Decor) are responsible for paying the $22.50 return shipment fee. In other words, it will cost us $25.35 to return an inoperable item—nearly half the cost of the item. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere. This organization is sketchy at best, and their customer service is absolutely loathsome.

Horrible customer service and post sales. I ordered a table from here on their website, it showed it will ship in 7 - 14 days. Credit card was charged immediately. Its been more than 14 "business" days now and still no update. Every customer agent on the website gives generic replies. Been on calls on hold for over 35 minutes. When asked for specifics the chat agents online just ghost the conversation. Order #*******
Please escalate it ASAP!

Steer clear!

I'm writing a review on every review website to warn everyone about this scam of a business. Skimming over everyone else's reviews and their experience proves it. Not sure how they are still legally operating and why they haven't been shut down. Like many others on here, I ordered a product from them and never received it. They don't answer calls or emails, and never provided updates on my order…I don't think it ever shipped out and it's probably because they don't have it because they are a fake business!

They did a nice job with making their website look legit, but don't be fooled and steer clear!

ALERT! Don't buy anything ONLINE from this company

Back on May 14th, was 4 months ago. I placed an order for an extendible dining table and I was waiting for the delivery. The website always showed the same information: "Status: preparing this item for shipping" but after 4 months of not receiving my table, I have been calling a fraud phone number with 3 extensions where nobody answered the call. And I have sent several emails and nobody is taking care of my emails to send me the product I bought. I am very disappointed with the service, the fraud, and the lack of communication. Please don't buy anything from their web site,

I ordered two sconces which cost $600 total. Burke delayed my order twice and will not give me an estimated delivery date. When I requested a refund, they said that they need to contact the vendor before they will issue a refund which takes approx. 3 days. Their representatives are annoying and condescending and defensive because I am sure they deal with this on a regular basis. Save yourself time, money and frustration. I ordered my items a month and a half ago and have nothing and they will not refund me.

I ordered a desk because it said it was ready to ship immediately. Weeks go by and it was not being shipped. I emailed them and they were not honest stating that they had and it would be shipped in a few days. It still didn't ship and I requested a refund multiple times/days. They stopped replying and waited to respond until they forced the item to show "ready to ship" and said because its ready to ship they cannot cancel my order. Then they stated it was in the policy but it was not, they were being dishonest. Please beware of this company as this not the proper way to do business. The item is still not shipped and they refuse to give me a refund though I told them I dont want nor any longer have need after such a long wait.

Incompetent, unprofessional customer service. I asked to cancel my order with in minutes after my order which was documented, my order was still shipped 5 days later and they made me get a credit. Terrible experience. I will never purchase from you again.

Worst ever experience

I ordered a the Hobson bench on Black Friday and it was listed in stock. They claimed it would ship in 7-14 days. Paid around $825. I Called a week later to check status and they promised it would still ship in 7-14 days and was indeed still in stock. 18 days after date of purchase I called and the first person told me they did not have it in stock and it would be 90 days to ship from overseas. Second Persian Brittany, said the item did not pass quality control and that is why it did not ship. Even though the item is still listed on the website. Very dishonest and don't trust them at all. Hoping I get my refund eventually.

Made a purchase but after several weeks still hadn't received the products. When I reached out to customer service, I was informed that shipping wouldn't happen for another 6 weeks. The website had said items were in-stock and ship in 8-10 days. I cancelled the order. Very disappointing.

I wouldn't order from this company. Every interaction has been so sloppy it almost feels dishonest. They sent me a damaged table, weeks late, and after offering a partial refund, never sent it until I called to follow up. Avoid if possible

Dishonest Company!

In November I purchased 5 items for my bathroom. Burke shipped 1 of the items and when I received it it was incorrect. I tried calling them several times but they don't answer their phones or return calls. So I emailed them and when they responded told me "they checked with the warehouse and they remember packing the correct item"! So basically they were calling me a liar. I sent them photos of the shipping box and contents and they finally agreed to reship the item and told me to keep the old item. It never arrived, as well as the other 4 items I bought. Kept calling, no answer. Kept emailing and they kept pushing out the shipping date. As of February, did not receive anything so I told them to cancel the order and issue me a refund. They agreed to cancel but I never received a credit so I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. My credit card company reached out to them and they had the audacity to show them a copy of the delivery receipt for the 1 incorrect item and say that it was the entire order that they shipped! I then sent the credit card company copies of all the emails, photos, etc. and finally the dispute was settled in my favor. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! I looked them up on the Better Business Bureau and they have 414 complaints closed in last 3 years
312 complaints closed in last 12 months! Someone needs to close them down they are a SCAM! The photos are what I received and what I actually ordered.

Fraudulent

I ordered two light fixtures from this company and they kept dragging their feet well beyond the estimated timeframe to ship to I canceled. It's been months trying to get my refund. They reply and tell me they will send the refund and they never do. I realize now they are a sham and just taking people's money.

Misleading Review

I posted a review of my purchase (a black wash Trey Executive Desk) twice and every time I visit the site it reads "no reviews". The $2000 desk is not finished as described and I'm now wondering if other reviews were not posted revealing that the finish is not as described and I would not have purchased. Lack of full disclosure from customer reviews borders fraudulent.
