Placed my order March 16, March 18 they created a shipping label and nothing has happened since. Emailed them they lied order was shipped. Disputed the charge. Stay away from those scammers.
This company, Bulk Apothecary based in Ohio, is not a real company due to the following we ordered and paid appx $56 on 3/12/20 for one gallon of water-based hand sanitizer. They promised on their website to ship within either 24-48 hrs, or 10 days at very most, the product. Here we are at more than 30 days out and have NEVER received a reply stating an order is outstanding or that they've shipped the product. They are absolute liars/Chinese. I will NEVER ever deal with Bulk Apothecary again. Never ever deal w/ Bulk Apothecary again. Bulk Apothecary is the SAME AS dealing with liars.
Was notified on April 6th that my item was back in stock, I immediately paid $126. And expected the items to ship within 7 days as I was notified.
2 weeks pass and I contact them now told item in stock but orders will ship 10 - 15 Days later.
Just received my credit card bill and realized no items or notice of shipping yet. Contact them yesterday, they now say 21 plus days to ship.
How long does it really take to put in stock items in a box and ship them out.
I suspect that they are using my money to fill previous orders TOTAL FRAUD in my opinion. Calling my credit card company to remove charges for the items I have never received.

Placed an order on 3/9/2020. On March 25 email saying it had been shipped. On April 11 received an email refunding my order since they were not able to offer a replacement order at this time, since my order was "damaged enroute". This place SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS. I ordered 3 gallons of hand sanitizer to be used for people with compromised immune systems. Now they will never get it.
This company is horrid. Do not under any circumstances order from them. I ordered from them in the beginning of March and NEVER received my order. Tomorrow is the first day of June. I have gotten NOTHING from them. When requested a refund initially in April they said they needed to open an investigation with UPS to find out what happened to the package they shipped. Now they refuse to even answer my emails. They refuse to refund my money for a product I never received. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY
As much as I've enjoyed the products I've gotten from them, customer service is everything! A person can go anywhere and find the same products so if you'd like to keep your customers for yourselves your customer service should be good.
I am a business owner myself and I started purchasing a few of their ingredients for my products. The first time I ordered I paid for one day shipping. Not only was my items a week late but I also had to go and pick it up. My items were spiked and had spilled within the packaging. Now I realize that a lot of it has to do with Fed ex but when a customer calls to complain you should be willing to get to the bottom line and help. They didn't care. I just tried them a second time and paid for two day shipping. They actually themselves sent the items out later than they were suppose to and I still haven't received my items four days later. I looked at the tracking and it says My items are ready for pick up. I paid for shipping to deliver to me! Someone is always home. I emailed them and again they don't care. It's always unfortunately you'll have to just take it up with Fed ex and we won't refund you the shipping you paid.
They don't care at all and they don't compensate. I will be taking my money elsewhere.
HORRIBLE- ordered April 6th no response- no ETA- got the run around-No one has any idea what they are doing there. HORRIBLE customer service and company- Ruined a good contract we had because of their incompetence. Every excuse in the book and then all they said is well you can wait or refund your order. First off, I never write reviews, however, I've decided to make an exception for this particular company. Their customer service is rude, unprofessional and they only care about Bulk Apothecary. I've called before and they answer the phone taking deep breaths. There is no personality or character.
I've ordered from them several times in the past and there is always something wrong with the order and they don't take responsibility. If they make a mistake, they want you to send back the product and the shipping won't be refunded.
They always say there is nothing that they can do, but honestly they don't choose not to do. To expedite a package is 128.00, yet their policy is 24-72 hours after an order has been placed. Oh and their order cutoff time is 2:00PM EST! That's insane! So if you pay the 128.00 fee, and it's after 2:00 PM EST, you literally just paid to ship next day, which defeats the purpose of expediting.
Their favorite phrase is "we can't guarantee", but they will take your money immediately.
They will let you order and not tell you that a product is out of stock. You can literally wait 2-3 weeks for an order and you won't know what's going on until you call and ask. You're going to get an attitude though, be mindful of that.
The "supervisors" are glorified babysitters with bad attitudes. They offer no solutions for any problems and they absolutely don't care. As a small business owner, I purchase from them because they have the least expensive prices around, but if I can find another vendor that's willing to price match I will never order from them again.
Well, should have read reviews before ordering. I needed the gel hand sanitizer for my customers and staff to use. They sent an email order confirmation and it said Water thin instead of the gel which I ordered. Tried repeatedly by phone and email to correct the order or. Cancel if they couldn't fulfill the order with the gel. All I got back was an auto response and a email about how how important customer opinions were. TOTAL SCAM - DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM UNLESS YOU JUST WANT TO SPEND $60+ DOLLARS ON 70% ETHYL ALCOHOL. If they had at least sent a stronger alcohol I could have made my own gel.
I order from them all the time. There essential oils finally helped my symptoms of lyme after 2 months on doxycycline that did nothing. I swear by them!

They have very bad customer service and procedures, they shipped wrong bottles, now they don't want to fix mistake, they want to get bottles back, then they are going to send right ones, so it's going to take another week or so until I received the right size bottles, meanwhile I have to seat with unfilled orders. I'm extremely upset. Also, the item they shipped is 3 times cheaper from what I ordered.
Got the sanitizer a tad later than expected, but so what. It is fine. It works. A gallon will last a while for our family. We even gave away a quart. Trying times.
They will not answer the telephone or refund my order. They have not begun shipping it and they have horrible customer service I would not recommend doing any business with this company!
I've thrown away all my Bulk Apothecary essential oils. They smell bad compared to other essential oils you buy from Doterra, Plant Theraphy, Young Living, Rocky Mountain or Now Foods. You will get rip off by this company.

I ordered body lotions and body spray mist in May of 2020 I received Body mist in June and never received lotion I received 1 email in July that it was back ordered it's August still no order the only thing they could do is refund me my money I will never shop with them again!
I purchased 2 gallons of Hand Sanitizer for my business. After waiting 4 weeks, the products I purchased never showed up. Contacted the company and response was sorry for the inconvenience, it has been shipped and is in UPS's hands "waiting to be scanned". Checked with UPS, who did not have the products from Bulk Apothecary. 2 weeks later, it is still in a Pending status with UPS. Bulk Apothecary lied and never shipped the products. Their customer service is non-existent. Emailed them 3 times asking for a refund because they never delivered the 2 gallons of hand sanitizers. It has been 6 weeks and they still will not refund my purchase and I never received the products. This is a bad business. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM BULK APOTHECARY. I had to contact my bank/credit card company and dispute the charges for non delivery of the products I purchased.
They never shipped my order. Kept getting the run around about when it was shipping. I finally asked to cancel my order and for them to issue me a refund. It's been over a week and still no refund.
I am a new customer and I ordered supplies for soap making. My shipment arrived very quickly and the products are wonderful. I will definitely be a repeat customer!
Can't believe I'm doing this but this company is a big SCAM. They will not only take your money and LIE to you by telling you that its fast shipping but they also charge high shipping fees and don't let customers know that they will be import fees! So after waiting patiently for my order I'm also paying MORE in shipping that the actual cost of the item. It'll be nice if they could just BE HONEST on the website stating that they're out of stock indeed they LIEE and use your money to purchase The items.
Long shipping times can be somewhat excused by current pandemic, but it is not good business to claim item "in stock" when it isn't. Once money was received, eta continued to be moved further out until all communication stopped. When the hand sanitizer finally arrived after 6 week (instead of initial 2), the product was not usable.
It arrived well packaged. That is about the only positive I can give. Upon opening the gallon of very expensive hand sanitizer, I was greeted by obnoxious fumes not of this world. A sickening, rotting vegetable smell that is impossible to mask by copious amounts of essential oils. The foul stench was unbearable. Plant matter/debris was floating in the liquid and all in all the entire product screamed unsafe/spoiled.
The company did offer me a refund (and for that offer, I give them 2 stars instead of 1), but only if the product was shipped pack on my dime or donated with written proof, to a hospital/school/ facility. Neither option was viable (cost prohibitive, facility wouldn't accept opened container of rotting liquid).
This company may have had good intentions, but bit off way more than it could chew or got greedy, churning out a product without quality control and potentially health hazards. Avoid at all cost unless you want to spend a lot of money while waiting 6-8 weeks to pour putrid liquid down the drain
