Worst possible company to deal with. They have no managers allowed to assist you, leaving you to a "customer relations" line that can't do much of anything. It took weeks of calls in order to get money back that was owed to me after my insurance gave them a full payouts. They actively are rude and uncommunicative. I would avoid this company at all costs.
Wow i have been paying on this 2012 vehicle for 5 years, only owe 4k and have come on hard times, have a pregnant sick daughter who I have been staying home to help with her other 2 kids this economy is horrible can barely feed family and they come and repo for being behind on the last 4k! Awful company! No remorse. This car is paid off 5 times over by the super high interest I have paid over the 5 years on top of it they will send to auction in 5 days if i dont have the funds! May GOd have mercy on your soul!
Asked for a date modification more towards the middle of the month, had me stop automatic payment for this adjustment. Called back 24 hours later as instructed.Approved, great!Old payment date nearing,I think 2 days prior, app shows no payment due.Day after old payment date, emails and phone calls, missed payment!Call in and told,oh we declined the payment date adjustment for to many days difference. Would be nice if someone would have told me.Worst company I've ever dealt with,as soon as possible I will refi away from this joke of c a company.
Cant get any where trying to end this account with Bridgecrest. Bought car through Carvanna. It was totaled 1 week later. My Insurance company paid off car, more than what selling price was. Here it is a new year, January 25,2025 { car bought on Oct. 23,2024, wrtecked Nov. 8,2024} Bridgecrest is still sending me emails saying Im past due 3 payments! I call and no one knows anything, just gives me the run-around! IM SICK OF MESSING WITH THEM! HOW DO YOU GET RID OF THEM?
I've had my car loan through Bridgecrest for 2 1/2 years. I go into their website today and try to make a payment. When I login it tells me there's an issue processing my request. I call them and they want a $3.95 fee to pay it over the phone. The guy says he logs into my account just fine. I've tried several times logging in and getting that same message. What the F.ck??
I called them several times and every time its a different answer. I am POA for a family member who is in a nursing home on hospice with cancer. I have sent the POA to them twice and they still will not work with me to give me a payoff or help me through selling her car. They are not pleasant, loud backgrounds, language barriers and not helpful at all. Don't ever borrow from them, they don't care about their clients let alone the elderly that are receiving family assistance in their final days on this earth.
If I could give bridgecrest no stars I would have. Bridgecrest charged me two payments, when I called them to reverse a payment back into my account they said the second payment can be used for the following month. I contacted my bank to take care of the problem, the bank reversed the payment back into my account. Now bridgecrest is charging me a fee for the one payment that my bank reversed back into my account. Bridgecrest is full of crap and I would advise anyone to not get a vehicle through Carvana so you do not have to deal with bridgecrest.
So my car got totaled and I was told by them that everything was taken care of by gap insurance, and then years later when I could have had it paid off they charge an amount off to my credit report. When I called to ask why they never contacted me after telling me that the amount was paid off they said they had no obligation to do so. I've been working hard on my credit and this is a huge setback.
I bought a 2014 Chevy Sonic through DriveTime/Bridgecrest a couple of years ago. Financial problems made it so I had to reschedule quite a few payments. I've found that they're always willing to work with me on these, and I really appreciate what they do. Also, when I make alternate arrangements, I always do what I say I'm going to do. I think it depends at least a bit on the attitude I have when I call. I'm always polite, friendly and apologetic about missing payments, and I always thank them for their willingness to work with me, and they respond in kind. Very happy with them! And I love the car.
I consider them a predator because they ask you to pay three times what the car is worth because they know you they have you in a bad spot and you need transportation and they are relentless and pursuing you.
I can't say much about the loan as I accepted it. But the rates are incredibly predatory as high as I have seen at 20.9%. While buying the vehicle the will inform you that you can refinance after a year… but… you cannot refinance with them. And good luck trying to refinance elsewhere as Bridgecrest makes it near impossible by refusing titles and taking nearly 3-4 weeks to process anything after the fact. While selling my car (I had equity) the process was so annoyingly difficult and time consuming that a few dealerships passed on a great deal just to avoid the hassle. Think twice before using bridgecrest as your lender. If you don't mind being a financial hostage then they may be right for you.
I got the loan, but when I go to pay it off, it will not allow me to use the online payment to make the payment if it is more than 2K. I called 4 times and talked to the customer service, I just want to pay off the loan in full. They can't take phone payments for more than 2k either. The system will not allow me to make the payment, so in the end I had to send a check in and it added another 64 dollars to my account for interest while they processed my payment. Now I can't make the 64 dollar payment on the website either! F#$Cing waste of my time, they know the online system will not work for the payoff or any additional payments, but hey they keep making interest. Calling doesn't help for making a payment either, unless for this remaining 61 dollars, I want to pay a over the phone fee on top of this interest which I shouldn't owe! Crooks! Time for a class action lawsuit!
We have had thos car for almost 3 years. We have put 15 grand into payments in this car and we still owe more than the loan amount. How does that make sense. They don't report to credit. Total rip off
They way they set the payments is dumb. When I asked why is it set up for biweekly, they said it was based how I was paid. I asked again but why, they said the samething. So I asked ok what if I got paid once a month or once a year, no answer. Bridgecrest God forbid you mess one payment because they send out a repo letter saying they are coming to get the car. Then they also talk to you like they are better then you. I don't need to go to school to be rude I can already do that, so why can't i get a job where rude pays the bills.
I truly regret doing business with this institution. I recommend finding some one else. They way they structure the loan and how unwilling they are to finance your loan for you is predatory. Trash.
This company and customer service are a living nightmare. They keep returning payments for no reason and add it to balance owed with additional finance charge. They have returned my last two payments. They are taking my car on Christmas Eve unless I give them $1400. Customer Service is a nightmare they are hostile and try to intimidate you. I paid $800 in August and they just posted more fees to my account so the balance was unchanged. They need to be sued into oblivion.
I have never experienced an auto loan company like this. If you don't pay on or before your due date they text, call, and immediately send out repo letters! Seems like they want to repo your car to make more money! If you sometime pay a few days or weeks late, beware!
Whatever you do DON'T get a loan with these thieves, they are crooks and scam artists. Absolutely the worst experience of my life and the most terrible customer service I have ever seen from any so called professional business.
This company is the worst. They will rob you blind. They refuse to let you talk to a manager. Everybody tells you something different. They are super greedy and there system is so messed up. They customer service is horrible. They really make you feel so belittled. I would never recommend them or do business with them ever again.
Horrible customer service, I wish I would of done my research before dealing with this company. They don't offer extensions even though its states that it does especially during this pandemic. Just stay away.
Answer: I was a partial payment late and they will take your car. If you get bridgecrest have a garage
Answer: Cars depreciate very quickly. One of the dumbest financial decisions a person can make is spending a shit ton of their income on a vehicle. Expensive cars aren't worth it. Nobody needs leather seats or separate climate controls. And it's not like you're buying one vehicle for the rest of your life. Quit looking at cars as status symbols and save your 8K for something else.
Answer: 90 Days...
Answer: Call them to come get it...,...
Answer: Not a question... perhaps you could attempt making a free payment online on the website?
Answer: I'm sueing them and that's that. And they should be closed down
Answer: Try your local credit union. They love to undercut the interest rates, and can generally be a little more lenient because they get their money through payroll deductions, meaning they get paid first.
