Scam based financing
December 28, 2021

I bought a $14,000 truck from drive time in 2018. I have most of my bills electronically debited from my bank acct and also live a busy single parent lifestyle that does not give me a lot of time to sit around and look at all my financing.
We are three days away from year 2022

So far I've paid right at $20,000 on my $14,000 truck, I checked today and I still owe well over $10,000 more to pay it off.

Maybe it's partly my fault that I'm too busy to fully understand vehicle financing when I'm signing a pile of paperwork but I don't expect these companies to completely rape us on Interest charges.

Ive never missed a payment but I'm tired of never seeing my bottom line decreasing.

Signed, Mr. Ben D Over

These group of people that work here apparently do not have social skills. We had to read our card number 6 times before they got it right. We have never missed a payment. When my my husbands payday was changed they would not let us change the date. There are no managers available to deal with. They couldn't tell us anything that made any sense. Can not wait to pay off our car. Will never purchase from Bridgecrest again!

This should be illegal...
September 21, 2022

All I can say is Bridgecrest is the auto loan equivalent to a Pay Day loan scam. I get it, we all at time have no choice but to get a car. I also understand business and risks of taking on clients that have credit issues. But what this organization is doing should somehow be illegal. I've reached out to several organizations and lobbying groups to see if we can get some strong government oversite of loan companies like this. You know the people who use this service are already barely getting by, gouging them with high interest rates is just sadistic.

I just got another email from them saying the stimulus check should be deposited today. They're reminding me to pay them yet again even though the bill isn't due. All this company wants is their money. They don't care that the economy has stopped. Backing off or reducing the bill for a month or two would solve a whole lot of problems. It's a cold-hearted greedy company that I wish I wasn't involved in.

It's this time now that coronavirus is a pandemic, I called for one deferred payment and bridge rest says no. They don't know what is happening with families who cannot get out to earn extra money for expenses. It's ridiculous. I cannot wait until I can completely pay them off!. Horrible service

Horrible
February 19, 2023

I gave my vehicle through them back in February 2021 voluntarily as the computer system randomly crashed and the car shutdown while driving. I hadn't had any issues prior. It was too expensive to rent a car or use ride share services while paying for repairs AND monthly payments. Today I went to purchase a new car and was told my account was still open. They've literally been reporting a "voluntary surrender" EVERY month since February 2021! They never closed my account! Weirdly it shows the word "closed" on my credit report but isn't actually closed. I have no idea what the heck is going on.

HORRIBLE!
March 31, 2020

With the coronavirus pandemic I was laid off. Bridgecrest REFUSES to defer my payments. Call me several times a day harassing me, telling me it's in my best interest to call them back. When I told them I lost my job her response was "what are you gonna do about it?" I'm horrified by the fact that they don't have any morals. Stay away. If offered financing through this company RUN away.

Never had any negative interaction with bridgecrest please people read the contract before you sign that simple maybe you are better off buying a 2-3 thousand dollar car cash no payments i make my payments a month early every month so i am always ahead in case i run into a financial rut and never had to speak with anyone as long as you can afford payments on time they are fine you cannot blame a company for your own poor financial decisions or taking on more debt than you can afforrd

Got my niece a car with carvana and bridgecrest since the interest was low enough now that we are trying to pay off the loan they accepted a check for the principal balance over a month ago but I still owe this month full payment and still have a principal balance it's pretty scary how sketchy they are and wish I did my research before signing up for this

Asked for one deferred payment during this damn pandemic as I have been sick over a month with covid and can't work. Denied for no reason. Never been late. Stay away from them. I will be refinancing. Your days are numbered you can't treat consumers this way and prosper.

I see there's a ton of bad reviews, so I figured I'd leave a good one since I've experienced 0 issues with them. Took a 64mth loan out and now only have 24 months left. They make it super easy to make payments. You can choose auto draft or just use your bank account to make them. They charge a credit card fee if you want to use it that way. I've always made more than the monthly payment, so it takes more from the principle. You can also make principle only payments too. They were easy to work with when I got into a minor fender bender. The insurance company sent them the check for repair and they reissued it to my mechanic and got my car fixed within 2 weeks. If you can pay your bills on time, this is a great company. Never had an issue.

Scam Artists
February 12, 2020

I purchased a car from bridge crest two years ago. It was in the shop 5 times the first year. Two of which were within 90 days. Now I'm trying to switch my registration and they won't send the NJ MVC a copy. I keep calling and no one will talk to me. I'm forced to pay for a car that I can't renew the registration or get inspected. This a joke and I've never experienced such scam artists.

Bridgecrest are crooks. They will gladly take your money and run without delivery of promised service. Most of the reviews on this page are fake. Just read below and it will become easy to digest the truth. Zero service, zero accountability with this company. I cannot stress this enough... STAY VERY FAR AWAY! Try better managed and with proper customer support departments such as www.myautoloan.com or www.lendingtree.com Honestly, you could pick any lending service. Stay away from Carvana as well. Predatory lending services with unfulfilled promises. Read below to see the truth.

Stealing money
September 1, 2023

Bridgecrest has taken money out of my account 2 times recently. One for $750 and one for $34,000. I have no loans or any affiliation with this company. My bank is investigating these charges. WTF.

I'll be glad to show them proof of this.

Bridgecrest has to be the worst finance company. After getting a car not even a year ago, the dealership nor Bridgecrest is willing to work or solve any issues with the vehicle. We have spent so much money on this car for it to keep having issues. Bridgecrest won't even work with you regarding a payment so we are to the point of letting them pick the car up. Will never use them again nor recommend.

License Revoked
May 30, 2020

Despite the virus in effect across the globe, these money hungry shameful scum of the earth have the nerve to reposes and operate during this time... Knowing that there are people begging for more time. Disgusting. Soon enough they should have their license revoked and good riddance

Bridgecrest sucks
September 23, 2020

Anything to do with this so called company sucks. All the negative reviews are truthful. If I knew what it would be like dealing with them and drivetime. I would've never gotten a car from them. Drive time seem like a bunch of scammers that pay mechanics to fix up the car to be at least in running condition at the time of purchase. After you purchase it, it's down hill from there. You're better off going somewhere else

They give anyone a chance
September 29, 2020

I have had my car for 3 years. It was my choice to use them. They WILL work with you on payments. Looking back, I should not of made such a quick decision. The interest is high as heck... but again MY decision to use them. The term is 6 years, but these are all choices I mad going into it. The cars are great, payment system is super easy. Overall if you have a small down payment and not so good credit, I would suggest them to build your credit. My score has went up from the reporting that they do. I read through the reviews - the people who wrote negative reviews about being repoed just do not know the law. They follow all laws and as long as you stay in touch you are in it to win it! -

I have been with Bridgecrest for over 2 years - I honestly think this company is very lenient when it comes to payments and credit reporting. Yes, they give high interest rates but I plan on refinancing as soon as my credit gets better. There was one time when I had to skip a month and told them I would be making a late payment (literally 60 days late) and they allowed it without reporting me to the credit bureau. I almost always pay 15 days late (due to my pay day schedule) and they are completely fine with it. I have seen other reviews that post about Bridgecrest harassing them, but you can easily tell them to put you on the do-not-call list, and they will do so. If you have a stable job and consistently pay your car note every month, you shouldn't have an issue with them.
