I purchased a trip from Sydney - Sweden recently that due to unforeseen circumstances I am attempting to cancel.
I requested on Thursday gone to cancel the flight regardless of the $500 fee Etihad imposes. I informed the operator and was assured I woul dhave a result within 24 hours. I called on Sunday to find nothing had been done yet. I have now called Monday and Tuesday to find they are "waiting for a reply from Etihad".
I contacted Etihad who are happy to assist but cannot refund me directly. They stated all Bravofly have to do is action a refund on their Etihad system and it will be instant. They provided me a rough figure on what to expect back.
I contact Bravofly who now tell me this isn't how airlines work and that they must contact manually for every refund (2 different operators tell me this garbage).
The flight I was on is Government business and will be swiftly followed up with the appropriate legal and department action should a result not be reached very soon. I will update this if I get any help.
EDIT: After speaking with Sofia she was helpful and was able to provide me a prompt refund. It shouldn't have to be like this but in the end I received an OK result. Regular customer service was hopeless and did not want to help.

Apparently I can not award less than one star - I would like to give a negative rating if I could. I booked two flights from Perth to Sydney return, the cancellation information on the website said that there may be a fee and it depended in part on the carrier, Virgin in this case. No figures were disclosed. When I needed to cancel I was told that they would refund $68.06 - the wording of the email was deliberately confusing, presumably to trick people into taking the refund offered. My costs were over $1000. 00 - the carrier is Virgin and they charge $80 for cancelling a flight. I raised the matter on their face book page which seemed to have a huge number of likes but most of the posts (except for the ones from unhappy clients) appeared to be computer generated. I have now been banned from their facebook page. I have informed Virgin and lodged a complaint with consumer affairs in Western Australia. Their customer service is appalling and expensive (they charge customers for making a phone call to them). The terms and conditions are not explicit and there is insufficient disclosure to allow for informed consent and therefore a contract. I would urge people to deal direct with airlines where possible and avoid aggregators like Bravofly... I understand that Ryan Air no longer accepts bookings from them.

We're really sorry to read that you have had cause to complain regarding the penalty amount applied to your booking following your cancellation request. Unfortunately certain tickets and certain airlines do not offer refunds in such cases whilst others offer a credit note.
Should the airline rules be as you state we will of course respect those conditions.

No way to get a bill.
No mail support, only by phone. Expensive calls with no feedback!
Booking went smooth.
What I didn't like were the 2 x extra charges for agency and payment by credit card. This was not like that, when I was booking before and it changes the price!
My return flight was cancelled 20 minutes before the scheduled departure at 1am, I was stranded in Perth for 26 hours with no arrangements or compensation. Twenty Six Hours! Never again will I book a ticket with a European agent or on a Tiger Air flight
My only 'problem' was that on checking the day I was due to leave that it was from South Terminal, Gatwick, the Gatwick website did not recognise the flight number at all, then the telephone number given for customer service {+39.0423. *******) was not recognised leading me to worry more than a little! However on arrival at Gatwick all went according to plan. Thank you.
I found a good flight and so did my partner. We paid for the first and then tried paying for the second and credit cards were declined. I checked with my credit card provider and was told they automatically flag purchases from this website due to the amount of fraud they get here.
When I had a question that I wanted to contact Bravofly about, there is no Canadian telephone number to call, I would have had to call internationally.
Al that said, I had no problem checking in for my flights, everything I had selected on the website was what I received.

First and good expereience with Bravofly. I received all confirmations and recalls in time and had no problem at all with my RyanAir flight.
I was a bit nervous about booking through Bravofly as I hadn't heard of them before, but all went smoothly and the regular communication from them was reassuring. I would recommend the Bravofly service to others and not hesitate to use them again if they offered a good deal on flights.
I have no complaints. I will use your services again if the prices are correct.

Answer: No. Please do not. They are fake and you can be in real trouble. Just google Bravofly Scam and you will be surprised to read how they cheated many people.
Answer: I am not sure how soon you will get your Refund. But Inscribe this in your presonal diary "DO NOT USE BRAVOFLY", they have a horrible service and are not very Transparent, I have paid for 56 Euros as their service fees for Tickets worth 76 Euros. They are not willing to answer or refund. I am still waiting. Hope this helps.
