When trying to check-in online, the airline informed us that Bravofly cancelled our booking. We contacted Bravofly who said the cancellation was due to a system error and acknowledged that they didn't inform us, not even by email. It turns out that they didn't even give us the money back. We spent the whole afternoon on the phone with Bravofly. We had to call several times with people hunging up on us. As the issue couldn't be resolved on the phone we sent a formal complain to the customers service. It has been 3 weeks now and they never got back to us. We have now lodged a complaint for fraud to the Department of Commerce.

Bravofly total scam
January 9, 2016

I had a terrible experience with Bravofly as well. This agency is a completely scam. I bought a ticket go/return Melbourne/Madrid with them and paid the extra service of full flex in order to be able to change my return flight in case I needed to. 2 weeks before my return flight, I asked to change it from January 2016 to September 2016. For 1 week, they were sending me nonsense emails, without giving me any clear solution to my request. I was trying to call them as well, but they kept sending me to other phone numbers, and no one was apparently qualified enough to do what I was asking for and what I paid for when I purchased my tickets. It is also very funny; that when you contact the company with their base in England, they ask for your banc account details and tell you the cost for the minute is 6E! When I asked for the Spanish central to call them, they send me to call the Australian central. I called the Australian one; all the lines were surprisingly occupied (I called for 4 days straight, making sure it was in the Australian working hours). Finally, after a lot of phone calls and emails, I asked them to change my flight to the first week of September, and they told me its around 1500E to change my flight. I asked to change it for the cheapest day in September and they answered me that for the 10th of September it would be a cost of over 1000E!

In their website, the flights showed for the same dates are around 700E! So I paid an extra service for nothing and lost my return flight as the agency is not able to change it (they say it depends on the airline). ALL LIES.

I am so disappointed. It's the most dishonest and unprofessional service I have ever experienced in my life. So, my advice for those out there planning on buying anything through them, don´t do it! You will safe yourself some money and headaches!

Just as many of the reviews before me have stated, their customer service team are rude, they hung up on my partner twice, they were unable to help us with even the simplest question about our booking and then blamed Virgin Airlines when backed into a corner, meanwhile Virgin Airlines were the only people trying to help us with our booking with these frauds. Stay away for piece of mind and sanity.

I have fallen victim to this disgusting company. I am supposed to be on my way to New Zealand from Istanbul to join an old friend to celebrate his wedding and the New Year. I received a confirmation email last night so I had no inclination that there was anything wrong.

I arrived to the airport to find that the flight doesn't exist! It wasn't cancelled, it wasn't delayed, it doesn't depart from another airport, it simply doesn't exist! Surely taking and receiving money for a non-existent service is a fraudulent and criminal act?

I also paid for full flex and was already disappointed as they failed to change the date of my return ticket. I first contacted them weeks in advance of my flight. They would only offer a 90% voucher refund. I explained that I would only cancel and accept the voucher if I could use it immediately to book an alternative flight with that voucher. I was prepared to pay any difference. They did not respond to my queries although I even found alternative flights on their own website. They did send numerous emails urging me to cancel and informing me that one of their representatives is looking into the matter. They offered no quotes or options to use my voucher should I accept it. I eventually booked a separate single return ticket not a week before my flight. Four days before my flight I was called by one of their customer representatives. They did not offer me any solutions, in fact I am not sure why they called. They merely wanted to repeat that I have not accepted to take the cancellation and voucher.

Now I have wasted not only that extra single ticket that I had to purchase but the total journey. How can there be a booking, payment and conformation for a flight that doesn't exist?

I have called their customer service reps. I have emailed them. No solutions, even when they booked me for a non existent flight. I want a complete cash refund and will not accept anything less. I have attempted to make a Paypal claim for a refund as I Paid via Paypal.

There seems to be no solution to being dealt with as a valued customer with Bravofly. They cant even offer the minimum that you would expect from a travel agent.

Stay away from Bravofly. It appears to be a dishonest and criminal organisation at worst or incredibly incompetent at best. I will be taking my story and reporting it to as many organisations that I can, including the press, social media and consumer / aviation watchdogs. I am also considering legal action, perhaps joint action with other customers who have fallen victim to this fraudulent travel agent.

May I be the last victim.

They are scam and I was also scammed by them. I am writing you to encourage the action against them. I request all who suffered to go to police and tell them your story and also inform scam controlling services. We consumers should fight for our rights. I am preparing to file a case against them in consumer court and ask for compensation as well. Let's not be silent and stop these scammers.

I thought I was just unlucky when I received an email mere minutes after booking my flight from Vietnam to the United States stating that I needed to pay over 130 Euro more if I wanted the flight otherwise the booking would be cancelled. However, they immediately withdrew the amount from my bank account. That begs the question, if they are a third party and confirmed with the airline that the flight was supposedly more, then why did they pull the money out before getting my confirmation?

Then comes the refund bit. I have ordered through several online retailers using this same card and whenever I cancelled I would get my money back within 3-4 business days. It has been nearly 2 weeks. I even employed my bank to contact Bravofly regarding the issue and they haven't been able to work it out with them either. Then I come online to read that this is very common practice for Bravofly. I mean, look at all of the reviews that state the same issues.

This year was supposed to be the second time in 7 years that I have seen my family in America for Christmas. This year was particularly special because my sister just had a daughter last week. Now that this issue has come up I am forced to cancel my plans to see my family. This is ridiculous. I have decided on taking this long sheet of complaints of fraudulent activity on behalf of Bravofly to my bank to file for reimbursement for fraud. Hopefully when more state banks have to recoup losses from Bravofly for fraud, they will finally be shut down.

I'm trying to cancel our flights from Brisbane to Tasmania in Australia as my husband has been diagnosed with terminal. It took 10 emails before they could understand I contacted the Australian number and they asked me to send a doctors letter - done. They haven't done anything won't respond and now the Australan number has been removed. They are PATHETIC. The CEO should be ashamed.

Never EVER be tempted to book with bravofly no matter how cheap their prices look. And if you do, you'd better hope you have no questions to ask. There is NO customer service, NO straight answer to any questions you may have, apparently NO supervisor to speak to. Once they have your money they are not interested in further communication. They should be put out of business!

We have booked flights home for our wedding next year in June 2016 (ages away) I noticed as I confirmed the booking that I had put my Fiancés second name in where it says Surname. I have been calling Bravofly to request they add his surname. On a phone call yesterday I was told this is not a problem and would be done and that I should receive an email confirming the changes. To my surprise the email that was received said that this could not be done and I should cancel my flights and then rebook. After a lengthy call to Bravo Fly they said they will send a quote to cancel and are wanting to charge me more than a third of what the flight cost me, to add his surname to the booking. I'm not changing the passenger, the flight date or time, just need a surname added! I feel like we are being so ripped off! I have called the airline direct and they would have charged $50 to add the surname if we had booked through them, Bravo fly wants an extra $740.00 on that! Robbery!

If you're doubting between using this company or any similar to save some cash, or book directly in the air company. I will recommend you to pay that extra cash because if you need the simplest request you will regret first.

1st. Their international number required your credit card, so 6.10€ as a welcome, plus a charge per minute in most of it's national services.

2nd. They keep you in the phone as many time as possible, just to increase their profit. It's pretty clear, you go with a simple request (cancel and outgoing flight, change a flight and so on) but they told you that they have to check if is possible... Yes, they do it hundreds of times per day, but still they have to check it.

3rd. They don't listen at you, they have few learned sentences that they will repeat automatically.

4th. They talk extremely slowly to maximize the profit, this is not about helping you, it's about getting as much cash as possible.

5th. And at the end, they will never tell you the prize of the service on the phone, they will finish with a "we will make some final validations and send you an email with the details". Because, like that you won't shout at them when you receive the bad news and they already got your money.

So if you're about using this service, please think it again and avoid the problems I'm having to face for just cancel and outbound flight keeping the return. I phone two times the final air company and they do it without any cost, unfortunately I made the stupid decision to use Bravofly to save just 5€, but I already pay 6€ in their inefficient customer service for nothing. And the worse, they only have to contact the final airline with a simple request.

Hope this review will help you to avoid unnecessary problems that otherwise would be much easier and fast to fix.

I booked a flight which subsequently needed to be cancelled. I received the standard email that it was being processed. I heard nothing from Bravofly so contacted the airline direct mutilple times but was told they could not deal with an agency booking. In the end the airline felt sorry for me and changed the status of the ticket as they are obviously well aware of how appalling bravofly are.
I asked for the flight ticket which was due to fly on Oct 19th to be canceled on Oct 4th and on October 18th the airline had not been told of the cancellation nor had they been paid by Bravo fly. The mates to email form them says they are waiting for the airline to tell the, whether the ticket is refundable. Utter nonsense as the airline gives credit which they to, d me themselves.
They are a bunch of con artists and I have given them a deadline for the refund or there will be action taken.

Horrible experience
October 14, 2015

After trying to book the first time, the booking failed and I received no confirmation so I redid the booking. Then later I received 2 confirmations and got charged twice. After raising this with their customer service they could not fix the issue and said it was my fault.
Also for the booking, the flight details changed from the airline and an option was to receive a refund. I requested a refund but they could not process it so now I'm requesting a flight change but they've told me they're having technical difficulties.
Definitely would not use again.

I booked Multi journey flights to & Fro Mumbai-New Zealand & Australia. I even booked internal flights from Penang to Kuala Lumpur... They are legit... but have overcharged the credit card card by about $50-$100 on a $3000 ticket... so thats OK
Also I think they charge in Euros... so since mine is an Indian card it takes the highest exchange rate + surcharge + service tax charged by CC Co. For doing a transaction in foreign currency,

I was so closed to buying 2 tickets to bali for me and my wife, but thought of doing a review search on the site as the prices looked very attractive. Thanks a lot for everyone who put their thoughts and stories on their bookings. Just cancelled and going straight to Virgin website to do the booking. :)

Bravofly watch out!
September 15, 2015

Booked a ticket with Flybe through Bravofly. As soon as I hit the pay button I realised I had made a mistake in thinking that an a.m. flight was p.m. Contacted them almost immediately but received no satisfaction said Flybe don't do cancellations and I was left with neither money nor a flight that I could take. Surely any company that grabs your money and refuses to do anything about a genuine mistake even though they were notified within minutes of I making it are guilty of sharp practice. Avoid like the plague!
