I started selling on Bonanza because Ebay limits 30 entries per month before they start having fees of $0.30 each. I have thousands of new un-used HVAC parts to sell. At first bonanza seemed good with their low fees but when it comes to problem solving such as shipping outside of the country, or customers cancelling their purchases you have to spend hours trying to resolve the problems. Sold a part to someone. In the process they cancelled it. So we refunded them their money but still got a fee from bonanza because they don't process their own refunds. Long story short still fighting bonanza's customer service for their fee via email. Yep they don't give out any 1-800 numbers for good customer service.
I'm so tired of the 2 big selling sites, they seem more concerned about advertising dollars and multi millionaire seller's. Even people that have 150.000.00 in sales, they don't seem to care if they come or go. So sad E B use to be such a good company for the little people, NOT NOW. I'll sell and grow with Bonanza
I tried the free 30 day trial thinking it was actually going to be free but they took $290 out of my bank right away. Me and my wife have sent 6 emails so far with no response, tried the live chat that doesn't work and called the phone number that nobody answers. Have you guys ever heard of the "Buyer's Remorse" law? We have 3 days to cancel any contract and yes we're still in that window but getting someone to talk is impossible.

After purchasing a pair of glasses, bonanza.com informed me that the model I paid for was not in stock, but they had a similar, lower quality model they asked if they could send instead. Classic bait and switch. When I brought this to their attention the customer service team became rude and volatile, then refunded purchase.
Hi Lee C., we're sorry to hear about the trouble with your order. We understand how that would be frustrating! Bonanza is a marketplace that connects buyers to transact directly with individual sellers. Bonanza expects sellers to be polite and ensure their listings match their inventory. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention so that our team can take appropriate action.
If our support team can be of assistance with finding a different seller to purchase glasses from on Bonanza, or anything else, please do not hesitate to contact us directly via email at support@bonanza.com, Larry C. Our support team will be glad to help. We appreciate you shopping on Bonanza!
I accidentally purchased a 12 month membership, and within 24 hours tried to cancel it. Well, its been 6 months and I have be recharged the membership. Wow... what a piece of crap company. They must be hurting for the $290. And really don't care about customer service or anybody. Watch out for this company. Years ago, they were better, but now. I would not trust them at all.
It takes FOREVER for anything to load. Half of it will load on a good day. Not to mention, many sellers have below an 80% approval rating. That is unacceptable. Don't pay attention to the positive reviews with one rating,. They are fake; having similar, generic names and pictures, and 5 stars across the board.
That is my second review for this "wonderful" web site I just can't find enough "nice" words to describe my frustration. So i order a Beer tender when it came it was broken( falsely advertise as used but perfectly working) so next day i send it back than a few days later i receive email that i'm not going to get refund cause after Bonanza team received the item it was damaged by ME! So i pay $100 to get a piece of sh*t than $38.to send it back the perfect scam! Dear Bonanza team i truly wish you all end up in jail

VERY responsive. I usually never have an issue but when I did, they responded within the hour! I have and will buy from them again! Yes I'm a real user and this review was not asked for or compensated in any way.
Completely horrible experience from start to finish. You only have 60 days (and 250 characters) to review your transactions. If you've purchased a fake product from a shady vendor bolstered by fake reviews, like me, it takes well over 60 days to get your money back in the bank. So, by that time, it's too late to review the seller! Bonanza needs to start caring about the integrity of the transaction process. If they can't control their despicable vendors, then they're thugs themselves. Avoid them!
Hi Matthew N., we're sorry to hear about the negative experience with your order. We understand how that would be frustrating. We do take appropriate action towards sellers that are not upholding their end of the sale, so we appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention. Please contact our support team directly via email at support@bonanza.com with your order details. They are best able to assist through that channel, and will be glad to help!
I bought and paid for a Bluetooth speaker that will not hold a charge. When I attempt to logon to bonanza.com, I am unable to complete the logon process. One can only live chat or get a phone number to call, if u upgrade your account by paying more money. What a scam. Stay away from these crooks! PayPal, eBay or any other online company that allows bonanza to conduct business needs to reconsider.
They infringe on others trade marks! I called Chanel and was told they are not a licensed distributor of theirs. I learned my lesson the hard way i. E. after I bought "Chanel's perfume " for equivalent price ( $85); they should be shut down! Avoid it!
Hello Charles,
Thanks for leaving this comment and so sorry to hear about the trouble. We'd love the chance to help make things right. If possible, please email us directly at support@bonanza.com. Thanks!
Ordered 6 of one item. Received 3 of a different item. Sent email. Messages and pending feedbacks. NO response. Sellers site says No refunds, which is fine with me if the correct items are sent in the first place. Here is your 28 dollar chewed up pencil. Sorry it wasnt what you ordered, but there are no returns. Sorry we cant help you with the stealing we just did. And I hold Bonanza responsible for allowing this sort of business to sell on the site. BEWARE and shop somewhere else for your own piece of mind and $$$$
Bonanza provides no protection, assistance, service to buyers on its site. The seller never shipped the item order, never responded to my inquiries, I could not log back into the site to pursue any corrective action. The sites does not send your login user name / password to your email, regardless how many times you request them. This site is complete FRAUD, so please stay away and save yourselves all the hassle and pain.
I sell on bonanza along with all the other big sites. I treat every customer and order I receive the same no matter where they purchase. I am online several times per day to complete orders and answer questions. They have a great UI to list and process orders I find it easier than the other big sites allowing me to give lower prices. I accept all returns for any reason in a timely manner.
Please come shop with us you wont be disappointed we are professional sellers!
I received garden plant inserts today. They were the wrong item. There's no way to make it right bc my user name doesn't work on the bonanza website. The only thing now is ask my cc for a charge back. I didn't believe I was buying something from a 3rd party website that has no affiliation with the seller beside a platform to distribute items. Unfortunately, the Dogwood Farm Market sent me 72 cell tray inserts when the paperwork and what I ordered was 48 cell tray inserts. Very disappointed. There's no number to contact.
This is a mini-ebay without any legitimacy. I ordered a tent and it never arrived. The seller never returned my attempts to contact her. Yet she took my $70. Unfortunately, Bonanza immediately refers you to paypal or amazon to get your refund. They essentially put frauds on their site who set low prices, take your money, and then Bonanza forces paypal and amazon to fix their problems. LAME business model; cheats. Steer clear.

We are presently in the process of closing our account on Bonanza if they cannot correct their issues and minimizing the fallout since we had so much. Certainly not worth the frustration of working with a company that always has their hand out for money and wants you to figure out their dysfunctional approach to doing business while not reaching out to guide you through their murky waters of a "business model". Their payment processors do not work properly and they are always using threats against you instead of addressing their own problems. We are selling on other sites a combined $xx, xxx + per month so we know a little bit about what works. We expect to leave by months end without regret.
They did the same thing with us. 4 months of adding products. We get an email from Bonanza Mark saying we need to pay for the fees which were not over due. 2 hours later we were updating our policies and then all our products were gone. They were left on review about 30 minutes ago. From what you say all that work is for nothing. Luckily we have our products documented, time to go somewhere else and dispute the fees with our credit card company if they are going start playing those games.
Like ebay, but most of the sellers are based only in the US, which is great. Especially good for finding american branded auto and home tools which you cannot always find on other websites. Site is a little hard to navigate using a mobile phone, but on the desktop it works just fine.
We purchased software that came without a sealed package. When we decided not to use the product and tried to return it they gave us the run around for 2 months before we finally gave up.
Don't deal with this company unless you want to throw your money away!

Answer: Not fake but not a good site to do business
Answer: Ebay. I always get great customer service from ebay... as a seller. Bonanza provides no customer service; if you have an issue, they just keep sending the same "canned" response over and over... and I had one sale on Bonanza for which they charged me a 17% fee... then they took $25 more out of my bank account... I have addressed both of these issues with Bonanza... Regarding the huge 17% fee... they sent me about seven (7) of the same "canned" response. I wanted a lesser % fee since their website claims they always charge the "lowest fee possible"... just one "canned" response after another... If they would have offered a more reasonable % fee in order to provide me with satisfactory customer service. I would have been satisfied; but they did not... after the seventh "canned" response... I closed my booth... And NOW... EVEN WORSE... they took an additional $25.00 out of my bank account... and for what I have no idea. I called the phone number which was listed with the transaction on my bank account and of course got a recording. I left my information, and it has been four days... and still no response. When you call ebay, you speak to a live person who works to solve your concerns... I HATE BONANZA... and you would think that BONANZA would not want RIDICULOUSLY UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS... but they do not care. I moved all my ebay items to Bonanza to see if it was a better experience than ebay... ebay's fees are 10%... and they have a much larger shopping audience... and they have real customer service people that you can talk to. Bonanza has a much smaller shopping audience, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL, and their goal appears to be to charge sellers the most enormous fees that they can get away with. I never get online to post negative reviews... I generally get online to post about great customer service and great products... I like to keep things on the POSITIVE... but this is just not possible with BONANZA... they are like a Phantom Selling Platform... totally disgusted. I will be reporting BONANZA to the BBB and to the US Attorney General's Office. Very disappointing experience.
Answer: Sellers can create and offer coupons with zero limitations ("Sell on Bonanza > Edit booth options > Discounts & Coupons").
Answer: I set up my account with Bonanza and their platform is pretty much the same as setting up an account with eBay, Etsy, Amazon, etc. What problems are you having?
Answer: I have never seen any benefit to paying extra for advertising. Bonanza just doesnt do it like ebay does. Have you ever seen a Bonanza ad on TV? Nope. And therein lies the problem. Nobody will shop there if they havent heard of it. True many sellers are leaving ebay (or sadly being kicked off by the BS) but nearly everyone goes to Bonanza to SELL not to buy.
Answer: Yes and the answer be sure if ya are absent minded of being taken advantage of..
