Typo errors on telephone numbers. Corrected very quickly after my follow up call. Acceptable service
Amazing company, fast delivery, no issues with anything whatsoever. They arrived in beautiful condition. Perfect, would recommend to anyone.
Easy to order. Liked getting an email stating that delivery was made. Flowers were exactly as I ordered, and beautiful!
Great service, beautiful floral arrangements. Using local farmers is important reason I choose Bloomex
Bloomex is an easy and convenient wau to send flowers to loved ones. The prices and quality are also very good!
On Friday, Feb 24, I ordered a 'guaranteed' birthday delivery for Saturday, Feb 25 and three days later, received absolute rubbish.
Bloomex is closed on Sunday so I called on the next business day, Monday, Feb 27. Because the flowers still hadn't arrived and the birthday had already passed, I asked them to cancel the order and issue a refund. That's when I was told the order was in transit. I did not receive an email indicating that the order was in transit. The status changed suddenly when I asked for a refund.
Before the order was accepted, someone from Bloomex contacted me by phone to confirm the delivery address, which would have been the perfect time to let me know that the delivery would not be delivered on time (despite the "guaranteed birthday delivery" promised on their website). I would have immediately cancelled the order. Instead, the information was withheld.
The flowers were delivered three days late, on Feb 28. What was ordered (Blue Horizons "supersize" — the website show eight roses, star gazer lilies, irises, premium fillers) was a far cry from what was received (four roses, a shabby batch of badly-dyed carnations and cheap filler). There is nothing on the website suggesting that "fair and appropriate substitions" in their most extravagant pricing option would result in fewer flowers and trashy ones at that. Neither does the website mention that specials will not be honoured outside of their "local" delivery zones (again, no indication of said zones). Though far less of an issue, but just as misleading, they charged $10 for "authentic Scottish shortbread" that turned out to be two very thin cookies.
It took five attempts before I received any response from Bloomex and they refused to refund my money, instead offering credit that I would presumably use for more bad service and rubbish flowers at some future date.
PLEASE NOTE Bloomex "buys" ratings by offering a $20 credit for positive reviews.
Good evening! Thank you for the fast delivery of flowers in a short period of time, a discount, as well as additional gift. Really apperciate.
I had no idea where to get a gift to give to my wife and the flowers got in on time on March 8th :).
Twice I've ordered with bloomed.ca, first time Valentine's Day 2020, I paid $20 extra to have delivered before 12 in the afternoon. It arrived around 2pm. I wasn't too disappointed, I understand it was Valentine's Day so they had a high volume of orders, didn't think much of it. I ordered a second time for July 2nd 2020, again paid the extra $20 to have delivered before 12 to my moms local business. After finding out that she still has not received anything by 2pm I decided to give them a call, little did I know I would waste 30 minutes talking to a broken record. On the phone I was told that they can only put the order on hold for delivery on another day or give me store credit. After explaining my situation over the phone I feel as if it fell on deaf ears, all they repeated was "we can give you store credit or put the order on hold" I had asked to talk to a manager and I was told "they don't do phone calls" asked why and never got an answer, the best I got "I will add a note and they will contact you by email" then I got hung up on?!
Please keep in mind I paid $103 in total for my order for one bouquet and they offered little to no resolution for my situation, I was reasonable and patient, all I want is my money back in my bank account because twice I have ordered and twice they have not delivered on their promises, therefore I don't want my $103 to be locked with this company's store credit because I won't ever consider ordering in the future.
I strongly recommend that people look for other alternatives or if possible go buy flowers from your local florist and deliver them yourself if you have the capability. Zero for customer service, and management is too scared to talk on the phone is what it seems like. Save your money and spend it elsewhere.
Order #*******
I recently tried to order flowers for an upcoming birthday of a friend.
I filled out the initial information on the online form with Bloomex and, when I started to fill out the delivery address for my friend, I realized I hadn't saved her new address; I ended the transaction and attempted to locate the needed address.
Before I could locate the address, I noticed a charge appear on my Visa card for the flowers - for an order I hadn't completed and without including who was to receive the flowers or when.
When I contacted Bloomex about this, and pointed out they didn't have my authorization to charge the flowers - let alone a completed order - I was advised that their order process is set up to capture the credit card information which they process regardless of if you complete the order or not.
Bloomex then refused to refund the money they had charged to my account, without my knowledge or authorization, for an order I hadn't completed, and insisted their "policies" only allowed for them to issue an "in store" credit for the amount charged.
Apparently, Bloomex has set up the on-line form so that once you enter your credit card information, it locks that information in and when you click to go to the delivery page, to enter the delivery address, it "completes" the order and process the credit card charge without you actually completing the order or knowing the amount has been charged!
The follow up customer service I received in trying to sort this out has been beyond ridiculous…
…they have simply "trapped" the credit card charge and will not reverse the charge - leaving me having to dispute the charge with my credit card dispute and not even having any way to complete the order even if I had the address I needed to do so!
Soooo easy to organise flowers for my mum for Christmas from Hertfordshire to Jersey CIGreat choice and great prices Thank you Carol's Florists at Holm Grown Jersey xx
Very good service. The flowers were ordered from New Zealand and delivered on the date requested and in timeline
Fantastic service, quick, easy and very reliable. And was a beautiful arrangement. Would definitely use Poppys again and Bloomex
Can i please leave less than one star?
I wish i had read the reviews across different websites before purchasing from this company... i think this is literally the only time i bothered leaving a review for some flower company but now i read all others reviews all makes a lot more sense...
Seems to be a very similar issue than for everyone else
FLOWERS DON'T GET DELIVERED THE DAY YOU CHOSE...! LOL
Who wants to have flowers delivered a day or two after the birthday of your loved one? How ridiculous is that! But you still pay $15+ for delivery...
You email them on the day to follow up, no answer. You call them, no answer. You end up waiting 30min on a live chat for someone SO SO SO unhelpful and careless to chat with you. First reaction is "we will give you a $20 discount for your next order"? You would think they would start by apologising? Or are they too oblivious to actually think you will use their services again?
THIS IS THE BEST PART
You then ask for compensation right... (Anyone is their right mind would think it's a reasonable query) you would never believe what what the answer to that!
"TO OBTAIN A REFUND, YOU NEED TO BRING US BACK THE FLOWERS" Woooow
I think we will leave it as is hey guys... So 1) You deal with idiots that have NO idea how to run a business nor what customer service is 2) you look like an idiot sending flowers on the wrong day and 3) your wasted a lot of time and energy...
OH and i forgot! The flowers look ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING (i could have picked up some better ones on the street)
BOOMEX, do your customers a favor and CLOSE YOUR BUSINESS!
A great concept for widespread flower delivery but BLOOMEX needs to work on the fundamentals of quality and customer service.
Here is my unbelievably poor experience for order ******* as delivered Feb 3/23:
1) It was one of the coldest days of the year and the delivery guy leaves the flowers on the porch in sub-below zero temperatures. Flowers were not found till later that evening at which point they were damaged (see pictures).
------Why didn't the delivery guy ring the door bell (the recipient of the flowers was home…I paid extra to have them delivered that day knowing she was home.)?
------Why didn't the delivery guy follow the clear delivery instructions which said to call when delivering?
------Why would BLOOMEX policy include leaving flowers on the porch in such weather, damage is undeniable?
2) I called BLOOMEX and yeah I get it BLOOMEX needed proof that the flowers were damaged. So now the gesture of appreciation, that I had intended for the recipients of the flowers, are now instead inconvenienced to take pictures and the timeliness and reason for sending the flowers is now spoiled. But yes I sent the pictures and a full explanation of what happened by email.
3) Hearing nothing I called this morning Monday (3 days after the delivery was to occur). To add insult to injury I am connected to Manager "Abu" who proceeds to aggressively tell me that he sent me an email response (which I did not receive), he further does not listen to my concerns and then essentially tells me my only option is that flowers can be resent. I'm not able to get a word in and then he hangs up. Unbelievable! I'm so dumb founded that I called back and was told I will get a call back for which I CONTINUE TO WAIT.
So in a nutshell thanks to BLOOMEX: I lost my money. I did not get the product I paid for (what was delivered was also not what I ordered). Bloomex spoiled my gesture of thank you towards my friends. I have been treated with complete disrespect by BLOOMEX representative Manager Abu. BLOOMEX has offered me no compensation.
BLOOMEX = Disappointment!
Easy to order off of the website. Delivered on time. I like the fact that I recieved order status updates! I would use them again!
Do not use this company to order flowers - instead, shop local.
I ordered an upsized (the largest possible) bouquet of Calla Lilly's as a sympathy bouquet. What was sent was a bouquet of flowers that looked like they were purchased at Walmart. See photo below for reference. The vase in the middle is what was delivered. This is supposed to be the largest bouquet that they have! Further, there are no Calla Lilly's - rather it looks like a small spring mix.
I order beautiful stunning flowers for friend who just lost his wife of over 50 years, and what was delivered underwhelming to say the least.
When I reached out to the company (and sent pictures of what I ordered versus what was received) I was told that despite trying two different florists, the lilies were not available, and "as stated on their website" they have to substitute sometimes and "the substitution met with their guidelines." Really? I was offered a $20 CREDIT for a future order! When I replied that this response was unsatisfactory, I was offered a $30 CREDIT for a future order!
I understand that sometimes the flowers that you order are not available. However, the difference between what I ordered (the largest bouquet of beautiful and expensive lilies) and what was sent was shocking (photo doesn't lie.) I paid a for a large bouquet of lilly's versus a small generic bunch of flowers that were underwhelming to say the least.
The company has finalized their offer of a $30 CREDIT and nothing more. Why would I EVER make another purchase at BLOOMEX? READ the REAL reviews - and there are so many across multiple sites. STAY AWAY from this company.
Not an ethical or customer caring business. There are a lot of small local florists who need your business out there. My lesson learned - take your business local.
The flowers were really fresh and lasted over two weeks. The supersize bouquet had more flowers than I had expected.
Answer: It is terrible and difficult. They barely respond and then it is only after multiple emails and chats.
Answer: No. Terrible service. Did not deliver on time. Postponed deliver to next dY
Answer: I feel like I've been scammed. Took my money and did not deliver my purchased flowers.
Answer: It's a 1990's website and can't take average photos of 2024
Answer: No, they do not refund. They send a sorry message and offer you a store credit. However if you had a bad experience I do not think you will try them again to use the store credit, so they do not then compensate at all.
Answer: Very poor customer service (none). Do not use them.
