They don't tell you shipping until *after* you have paid for it. And their "estimator" of shipping on their own site predicted half of the actual shipping price. Seems a bit fraudulent to me.

I am very disappointed in Biz Chair and Shermag. This was purchased as a baby shower gift and turned out, not be the product we had hoped it was. Trying to return the product was a failure. It took 2 weeks of me constantly (total of 5 phone calls) contacting BizChair for a response to finally find out that the cost to return the product would actually EXCEED what I originally paid. I WOULD HAVE TO PAY THEM TO ACCEPT IT BACK! I will not ever buy from Biz Chair again, Return policy is very old and outdated when everyone else online has no cost returns and quick RMA responses.

I ordered items from BizChair for my banquet hall. I spent over $18,000. I called to request they replace six damaged tables and they refused because it was over five days from delivery. The boxes were not damaged. When I opened the boxes, six of the tables were damaged. The items were damaged when they were packed. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they passed me on to someone else. I received the same response. The person I talked to said this is the policy from the owner. I could not open everything I purchased until I was ready to use the tables and chairs. If the boxes were damaged, they were checked within a few days. These boxes were not damaged and were safely stored. The Service Department is terrible. The people are rude. I was going to make another large purpose once they sent the six tables. Biz Chair did not care when I said that I would not order from them if they did not send the tables. When you start a new business, every dollar counts. I will not order from this company again. I will order from a company that cares about their customers.

I purchased an office chair January 15,2015. A few weeks later the seat flattened. I wanted to return it but they said they had too send replacement seats first? They sent two and still the problem continues. Then the seat broke and I sent photos at their request then they approved the refund and it would be coming shortly. They sent it to another person and then I received a email saying there would NOT be any refund? THIS IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH. THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PLAY GAMES WITH CUSTOMERS, CAUTION!

I ordered a thousand dollars worth of chairs over the phone. The customer service rep ordered the wrong chair. I think he grabbed the wrong chair from some list when I told him I wanted the silver frame rather than the gold frame that he read back to me. So I think he replaced my vinyl chair with a fabric one with silver frame. He never read back the item number just a quick description. I caught the mistake after the items had already been shipped and the company will not pay to correct the mistake. I don't think I should have to pay shipping both ways for the dumb mistake of a customer service rep. The worst part is that I specifically called a certain rep who had helped me before because I thought he would get a commission off my order and he screwed it up. If I had just ordered what was in my shopping cart online- there would have been no mistake. I still had the order pulled up on my computer a week later and I KNOW I did not order fabric chairs. I would never do that for a PAINTING STUDIO! So much for being the "nice guy"

If you're about to order anything from Bizchair make sure you are ordering full not half product. Plus record on your camera whatever you get in the shipping and whatever you are opening. I'm not kidding. I ordered 6 daycare tables for which I was waiting almost for a month. I received 7 packages (supposedly 6 tables and a package with legs to the tables). After a few days I was ready to put it all together, but found out all legs are missing, and instead I received some not complete shelf which I didn't order. I notified them immediately, and in response they informed me they have 5 days to process it and then a few days for shipping. After 8 days I received an email that after reviewing my case they decided that it was my responsibility to inspect those packages immediately, and I signed that I received 7 packages, so it looks like they shipped those legs. After making lots of of phone calls I've also received an information that I should records on camera whatever I received and the time of opening the boxes. Now, I'm stack with 6 tabletops, no legs and expecting DCFS final inspection this week. Probably will not get my license until buy another legs in another NORMAL and honest company.

They are thieves

Please don't waste your money with them.
They used to sent incomplete order.
I think they are in common agree with road runner the carrier company.
When report it the miss box they told me that they take the responsibility if the Carrier company didn't do it but at last both didn't take responsibility.
THEY ARE HORRIBLES THIEVES...

I ordered 50 chairs for a gathering I was having, was told by bizchair when I ordered it, that I would receive it a few days before the date I needed it for, guess what my gathering is this weekend I never received them

I first read about this website back around 2006 in some news story about how a 14 year old started this business (in 2001) with a $500 investment and started selling office chairs out of his garage. I became interested and checked out the website and saw that it was very professional looking with full customer service, company, and help details. I decided to give it a try as I was in the market for a new desk chair at school.

I had no problems placing my order for a mesh desk chair, and there were amble item status updates during the shipping process. I received my chair in less than a week and with minimal assembly I had my brand new spanking desk chair. It was very comfortable and served me well. I would dare say it was comparable in comfort to my Herman Miller Aeron chair at home (for which I paid more than five times in price versus this new mesh chair). The material of my new mesh chair was sturdy and good quality. After two years of use, I was going to move and I sold the chair to some other student. It was still in excellent condition (could not tell it wasn't brand new).

Bad shipping

Terrible company-do not do business with them. They promised a delivery date on the phone and the actual delivery date was a week later. Don't trust what they say on the phone.

I have never ordered from a company that was so impossible to deal with not to mention the crappy merchandise. I ordered a lounge chair since the beginning of July, the box it arrived in was completely damaged, the parts for the chairs was falling out. The shipment was left at my front door by FedEx. I followed Bizchair policy on receiving damaged goods and contacted fedex. The Fedex rep stated that it was possible that the shipment was damaged during transit and they would have someone pick it up and Bizchair would have to file a claim with them for compensation. After contacting Bizchair, I was told not to send back the chair, take pictures so they can see the damage. I was told they will not replace the damaged chair they would send me replacement parts. Are you serious? About 75% of the chair is damaged. Well, it is now August. I have yet to receive the replacement parts. I was told they will be shipped August 15. I ordered this chair to use for the summer. By the time I receive it, it will be almost September. Never ever again will I order from this comlany.

Update: I received three broken tables and the company is refusing to replace them. The reason for that is because I didn't refuse them upon delivery. The trucking company wouldn't allow for more than 15 minutes for me to unload all my product from the truck or there would be additional fees. I called the company and told them about the broken tables (severely cracked) and they told me to send pictures and asked if I noted on the receipt that they would let me inspect. I followed everything they told me to do and they are refusing to send out replacements. They sent a claim to Road Runner who was the delivery company, who in turn hired another company to deliver my product. Needless to say, my experience with this company has not been good and I don't recommend anyone use them. They also have hidden fees in their deliveries that you wouldn't know about unless you go to the shipping terms and conditions before purchasing. BeWARE of the company.

I ordered over 2,000.00 worth of chairs. It has been a nightmare trying to get them delivered to our church only to find out that I should have ordered a lift gate for the truck myself. These are hidden fees that I didn't know about that I am being charged for if I want them delivered to the church. I contacted the company and they told me they couldn't tell me how much the fees are. It is up to the trucking company how much they will charge me. Customer service isn't great either. I wont be ordering from this company again.

I ordered 2 chairs for Christmas on December. 10th. I was assured I would get them but guess what... I never did. It is now December 28th. I finally received my chairs... one of the recliners I ordered only came with the bottom seat part, no back at all. And the chair that I ordered for my daughter was an embroidered large oversized chair. They sent me the large chair with a small slip cover. There is no telling how long it will take to get this order fixed because when I first ordered it, it kept getting thrown into back order, even though they said it was not on back order. Everything was going to be fine. It got thrown into back order 4 times so the order just kept getting thrown to the side and never made. I had to write my kids a letter from Santa saying their gifts fell out of the sleigh and would be here soon. I have worked with the people in admin who assured me they would personally be looking over this order to make sure it was finished and shipped out to me by Christmas. They were really nice on the phone but they OBVIOUSLY did not oversee this order or else they would have seen it was all wrong when it shipped. I really hope to get my chairs soon so my kids don't think Santa is a liar!

I bought a white desk chair as a Xmas gift and th eperson I bought it for didnt like style of the chair, it was a nice chair and not damaged in any way, but when i called customer service to return the chair, they said no problem we understand, but you will have to payfor the shipping back to them and a 35% restocking fee, I said wiht the shipping and stocking fee I will pay over half the cost of the chair. I told her I shopped on line because I had a stroke 5 months ago and couldnt get out to shop and that even thoufg I dont need the chair I will keep it if I have to pay over half the cost of the chair and I will not do busineness with your company again. Not happy with this company and I have a chair I dont need.
