The shipping estimator will always quote you a much lower price than actual shipping cost. My order was nearly double the cost to ship. Cancelled my order promptly, will see if I get my credit back in a timely manner. Stay away from this company, not giving shipping prices until after you purchase an item is very sketchy. This site is most likely a scam now.
We fell for the deceptive ad that seemed to suggest that shipping was free after a certain amount. We emailed and called in an attempt to cancel the order prior to shipping. Either they were simply slow in responding to our calls and emails or they intentionally waited until after shipping to give us their "it already shipped" spiel and required a restocking fee if we then decided to return the chairs that we ordered.
The quality of the chairs is questionable so far (1.5 months now). The padding in the chairs shifts every which way. Most of the time, we're sitting on metal rather than padding.
I should have looked on this site before ordering from Bizchair.com. The shipping was suppose to be $10.00 for a plastic table but they charged me $62.00 for a $80 plastic fold up table. I saw that they charged me a high price and ask for a refund immediately OF course they said they would cancel it and then messaged me another email and said it was too late, it has already shipped. I can't believe I fell for this scam. Lesson learned big time. Do your research on sites that seem to good to be true.
I was afraid to buy because of all of the bad ratings but the prices were great so I gave it a shot. I got a massage desk chair for my mom for Christmas and tomorrow is Christmas. I ordered it only a week ago not expecting it to come for Christmas. I payed $4 for shipping and it arrived on my doorstep today and it works amazing. Great quality, great price, and super fast shipping if you pay $4 instead of free. I am very happy.
... I read the one star reviews and I almost didnt purchase these chairs even though $2100 for 50 barstools was impossible to pass up.
I contacted the company by phone and spoke to Bobby in Customer Service and told her I was concerned about how many one star reviews I read and how it was potentially going to cause me to shop elsewhere.
To me now, Bobby is a legend in customer service... she should produce a training video on just how to resolve these issues... I received the chairs as ordered, on time and in great condition and I would and will order again when needed... thank you Bizchair and thank you Bobby
I wish I had read these and other reviews on this company BEFORE placing my order! All I can say now is WOW, they got me too... Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service and shipping/return/damage policy. We could have been a very big customer of theirs but never again will we order anything from them. The product was damaged and we got screwed.
Renovation/Remodel Problems
AVOID Bizchair & Belnick, Inc at all costs!

Long rant to follow. Read if you want the details.
Our youth ministry is renovating our room and made replacing our chairs. We had a modest budget in place and looked for chairs within that budget range. We ordered sample chairs and they arrived to our expectations in a box.
We then ordered 200 chairs and they arrived on pallets but wrapped in shrink wrap. After unwrapping, 85 of the 200 had scratches, bent frames, and missing protective knobs for protected stacking.
We immediately took pictures and contacted the company. They wanted additional pictures and exact counts of damaged chairs. We did so. Again, they wanted additional pictures and a more detailed count which we provided.
They replied that they would replace 3 chairs w/ a $250 credit after spending over $7000 in damaged chairs.
If I wanted used chairs, I would have purchased used chairs.
AVOID this company. I should have read the reviews before purchasing. Lesson learned.
And yes I know youth ministry will damaged the chairs. I just wish it would have been our use and not manufacturer damage.
I have dealt with many types of customer service reps, but today I experienced THE WORST customer service experience. They showed NO remorse for their terrible almost non existent process to ASSIST their customer.
I would recommend you stay away from this company! Read the reviews on other sites as well. Their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced in online ordering. Vickie was beyond unbelievably rude and unprofessional.
I ordered a clock over two weeks ago and after waiting, emailing, and calling multiple times I finally learned that it is backorder for another month and a half! There was no mention of that on the website. That is unacceptable and unprofessional in my book. The people I spoke to on the phone were unapologetic. I will never be doing business with BizChair again and will let everyone know if you do order, expect poor customer service and your item(s) not to reach you for months. "
I order a reclining bonded leather chair 2 years ago this past March. I sit in in it everyday and it's never got hard or abusive use. I noticed two cracks forming in the backrest area and the front of the left arm and they seem to be getting worse by the week. When I contacted bizchair they requested I send pictures, I did and was told warranty was up and they will do nothing. I realize bonded leather is not like real leather but never did I buy a piece of furniture that was junk after 2 years. Don't buy from these people as they are not honorable.
Regardless of the long list of negatives on this site, I have purchased 6 different chairs between July and August 2013. Yes, 2 had something needing replacing at different times, and they sent either a new chair or almost another whole chair to change out what was missing within 2 days. People should realize ONE thing... everything affordable is made in CHINA these days, and most of what China sends us is slapped together poorly no matter who is selling it--but sometimes the cheap price pays off and you can get something good out of it, as it did for us.
"Lies, lies and more lies. Charges on the day of the order and then drops the ball completely. First lies about delivery date (repeatedly) and then stops answering altogether. Good luck trying to escalate - "all supervisors are in a meeting". Plotting how to swindle more customers, no doubt."
This company is a rip off. I purchased 40 chairs from them. They started falling apart within six months of having them. I contacted the company and sent them photos of the final separating from the seats and coming apart at the seams. They denied my claim and said that we missed used them. I said sitting in them is Miss using them. They said the owner thinks I'm lying. Warning don't use this company box hair.com
Incompetent, rude, etc... Wish I had read the reviews 1st. They shipped to the billing address instead of the shipping address and then blamed me! Refused to take responsibility and hung up - rude!
I'm very displeased with the customer service of BizChair.com. My order was given a shipping label but didn't ship for a whole week. I sent an email asking why this was. They responded by saying it would get to their attention and they would try to get it out as soon as possible. I received another email the next day saying my order was backordered and that it was estimated to ship on 6/1/13.2 months away. I would not recommend it unless there's proper compensation for this poor customer service.
Ordered 2 chairs for 315.00 each, got one delivered in a reasonable amount of time with a tracking number, second one I had to call their customer service line to find out where my second chair was and their phones were having a blackout. So I email customer service, asking for information on the second chair as an email they sent me said it was shipped but this time with no tracking number and on the web site it says the order is still processing?!?! In steps Sasha Rodriguez my customer service person, She response with the phrase Your order has fully shipped. No tracking number given, so I asked again and she sent me one. IT was the one from the first chair. After 7 emails I finally got a tracking number and the chair was supposed to arrive that day. A lot of good the tracking number did me. Then I find out they didn't even put my address on correctly so it couldn't be delivered and I had to sort it out with Fed-ex. Only to find both chairs with damage, deep scuffs on some parts and loose housing screws.
I never received my chair. When I contacted customer service to ask for either a refund or a replacement, I was referred to the shipping company and the shipping company referred me back to Bizchair. This back and forth has been going on since 7/24. I also have a small business and when something is lost, mishandled or broken, I don’t refer my buyers to USPS, I replace it free of charge. The bottom line is that I lost my money. My advice is, with relatively pricey items such as furniture, stick with the big players that have a serious case resolution center and buyer protection. I would not buy from Bizchair again.
I purchased two of their chairs. One for my office and one for my wife's sewing room. I use my office more than eight hours a day and I'm certainly not even close to the 250 lb. weight limit specified. The chair is both comfortable and sturdy but after a little over a year, the faux leather began to peel. Slightly at first on the arms but it eventually became alarmingly bad. I contacted them, even offering to purchase new arms. It was only then that I noticed the peeling was beginning on the seat and back at the seams. The faux leather is obviously of poor quality. I got an automatic reply that they would get back to me in one business day. No reply was forthcoming. I contacted them a second time. Two weeks later, I finally got an e-mail. The rep seemed clueless as to what I was explaining (I'm a professional writer so I know how to explain things in simple concise terms). The rep asked for photos. I sent the photos. Since I no longer had the box, I made sure that one of the photos had the label with the model number stamped on it beneath their name. I also sent a photo of the entire chair so that they could see the style and design. The rep said she couldn't find that they ever manufactured that model! I leave it up to other customers whether they would want to buy any product manufactured by this company. To me, they know exactly what the problem is and they are dodging any and all of their responsibilities.
Biz Chair has 1-2 days shipping from warehouse as part of the advertisement for buying the product. They shipped mine in 5 days. I called and they said there warehouse was behind. I said they need to change the website and reflect that. They refuse to do so and my product arrived after the event. They still refuse to revise the site even though they are continually behind in the warehouse and the customer service is horrible. They don't treat you well on the phone and don't back up there service. Will never use them again!
Answer: IF you paid by credit card file a DISPUTE with your bank card and get your money back! Then make them pay to return it if they want it back? They wont request it back!
