I was way overcharged from what the restaurant prices were also at Golden Hunan on Durham... like $10 overcharged. It's deceiving because you think you're ordering from the restaurant, when in reality, I think it's a service like Uber Eats or DoorDash.
I have used this service three times. It worked once. The last straw, waited an hour. Called the service, only to get a message service. Called the restaurant, was told the order never was given to them. Received a call from the service, at the same time on the phone with the restaurant. They had just received the order! I cancelled the order. The restaurant manager apologized and recommend we no longer use this service! I agree!

I placed an order which took a 1.5 hours to get to me. Throughout this time a representative from Beyond Menu was reaching out to the restaurant on my behalf which I appreciated. Since the food was taking forever, the representative stated they will give me a credit for my order. I follow up with Beyond Menu two days later regarding my credit and they said they never offered a credit or that I have misunderstood what the representative was saying. So even if it took forever to get my food, they just shrug their shoulders and say well too bad the restaurant won't give us a credit so we won't give you a credit. I understand it wasn't their fault my food was late but don't go offering a credit then taking it back! I've deleted their app. Don't bother with this business.

I called their "hotline" to cancel my order seconds after my order, as I had accidentally ordered from the wrong restaurant with a similar menu. They said they had to call the restaurant. Seconds after, I got an email saying the food was ready. Then, the customer service agent called and said the food was ready and they refused to refund my money. This is a clear SCAM intended to keep their money and not refund.

BeyondMenu sent out an invoice of a chargeback fee for an order back in March. I called the company and the representative said the customer disputed the payment and hence we have to pay for that chargeback fee. First of all, we provided the food but we did not receive any payment from BeyondMenu and now they want us to pay for something that is not in our control.

The delivery service is horrible, the driver will not come to the front door to deliver our food, and we have to walk all the way to the front entrance gate. This is horrible service. If there was a negative 5 on the survey I would definitely choose -5.

We ordered food, were waiting 40 minutes. Finally checked email and they had canceled the order. Called and they said they did it because it was a different credit card. But STILL said it would take 24 hours to get credit card refunded. And that I had to call restaurant directly if I wanted to order. NEVER again. This operation is a scam.

Asked for a refund and it was processed on their end but their website is horrible. Worst customer service ever and then when I called to speak to a manager I was told there's no manager I can speak to and no transfer button?!? What kinda BS is that? The manager is supposed to call me but I have yet to hear back. No fault on the employees end of course but HUGE fault with the management of the company. Completely unacceptable to not have someone on the management end ready and willing to handle disputes.

My wife ordered Chinese for dinner. I was upstairs and heard raised voices downstairs. At first I thought it was the TV. No, it was the delivery guy yelling at my wife for not getting a tip. There was no tip reflected on the receipt. My wife had an email confirming a tip was added. I called the restaurant and they said no tip. Somebody is getting the tip.

Sorry for the negative experience. Normally, when a tip is included on the order you would see it reflected on the order sheet especially if you paid online. These payments are with BeyondMenu until billing day when we forward payments to restaurants twice a month. No need to give additional cash for tip payments if order is paid by credit card. However, if you did cash payment or pay by credit card thru store and you included a tip, it would be your responsibility to give cash payment for tips to delivery drivers. I hope this helps.

I'm home sick and can not go out to get food. I found an app that could bring food to me and my family where I can not. An hour later I called them and they told me that I had to call the restaurant to arrange delivery. Why would I use an app for delivery if I then had to call the restaurant to arrange delivery. I ordered once using beyond menu and everything was fine. The second time, my food order was wrong. The restaurant said that beyond menu had submitted the wrong order and I had to talk to them to get my money back or to get the right food. I called beyond menu for an hour trying to get a live person. Once I did, they told me they had to call the restaurant and would call me back. Later they call back and say that the restaurant won't fix the problem, so I'm out of luck because the restaurant is the one who charges the card. Of course, the restaurant says it's beyond menu's problem. When I asked to speak to a supervisor at beyond menu, they said they can't transfer the call to a supervisor and that someone would call me back in the next couple of days. Still waiting on that call. NEVER USING AGAIN!

I used this website to order food from a restaurant nearby. I always go to pick up my food, and I enter in a tip with my payment. Come to find out tonight that the restaurant doesn't get my tip! The website does! Why would I be tipping this website if their delivery drivers aren't even delivering it I'm picking it up?! I order from this site frequently. The last 2 orders both caused me to have to cancel the card i used to make the order. HUGE RISK giving them any financial information. This site should be investigated by the FBI. Just call in your order or find an alternative site. VERY INCONVENIENT. I tried to call them to inform them of the problem and got a very rude customer service rep on the phone. There is no point in supporting this business.

I choose delivery option and once I enter my card info the order was confirmed but FOR PICK UP! There was no way to go back or cancel the order. I called the restaurant and they said I had to call the site.

I have received a few uninstall reviews on my FB page, and one 2 in general that were total lies.
I've learned that a restaurant can not please all the customers they serve all the time. All we can do is try.
I resisted allowing delivery service for a long time just because of the nature of the food delivery.
My restaurant offers a top quality stake, many comment that it is the best in town.
I started using Door Dash, and seen negative reviews on our stakes. Some one orders a med-rare stake and the stake is placed in a take out container that is designed to keep food hot, the stake continues to cook while in route to the customer. When the customer receives their meal the stake is now well done, or close to it. The customer is then pissed off and goes onto Doir Dash and leaves a bad review. This review hurts the business, and the writer of the review orders else were next time.
I found that a person can come into the restaurant and have several meals with no negative issues and then try the home delivery and end up writing a negative review. The best path forward is to be careful what you order, and don't expect it to be quite as good as you expect. If you want top quality then go out and eat, and then judge accordingly.
These companies all use the same drivers. It is a pool of drivers that deliver for all the services.

However, on the check out page you have the option to choose pay thru BM or pay cash directly to restaurant. If you pay to BM online, we forward those tip payments, delivery charges and order amt to the restaurant every 1st and 16th of the month. They get BM payments bi-monthly. Now, if you choose pay at store or pay by cash at store, the system will not prompt you to enter a tip.
