The company's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, particularly regarding installation services, product returns, and customer support. Many reviews highlight issues with rushed installations and poor communication, leading to repeated service calls. Customers frequently encounter difficulties with returns and refunds, often citing long wait times and inadequate support from customer service representatives. While the company offers a wide selection of products and some positive experiences with online orders, the overarching sentiment suggests a need for substantial improvements in service reliability and customer care to enhance overall customer satisfaction.

We'll never buy a computer from Best Buy! We paid Geek Squad to complete a service that Best Buy offered when they sold a computer to us. When we discovered the computer was defective (confirmed by Geek Squad) and had to be returned that very same day, Best Buy wouldn't return our money for the service Geek Squad had done to it. It wasn't even written on the back of their agreement that they had a right to do this, and they still didn't return our money. Never again, Best Buy!
Best Buy provide amazing quality products on nominal price as compare to others.
I really loved this place, and could not believe that I had never been before! The food and spicy chicken curry, this is delicious food service and also responsible catering services, was excellent. There were some tasteful, appetizers delicious food menus selections on the coromandel cuisine menu that I don't see on every other Indian restaurant's menu. We really enjoyed everything about our meal
This place is a little pricey but I know that you get what you pay for! Their electronics aren't that flimsy like the crapple store. Service is way better too. I like going into a store for tech and people there know how it actually works... unlike elsewhere, in this place that actually happens! Just wish there were more locations. Here in vegas there isn't one around me for probably a half hour drive.
I enjoyed my entire shopping experience. I found out about the brand Best Buy on one of my favorite online sites, I also love that i can get points to buy more clothes and accessories for liking items via twitter. What a great concept!
One of the shops i like the most. Love to shop here because everything is so clear and easy to use. And prices are so good!
We were in the store trying to shop for several electronics items, trying to read boxes and digest information so that we could make intelligent buying decisions. But were confronted and chased by several folks trying to sell us solar panels. This is the absolutely last thing we need. We don't want solar panels, and left the store without getting the things we do need. Harassed customers will leave and never return - I can't understand why they allow this. Even if they sell a few solar panels, they need to balance this against the profit loss from other items that customers might have bought if they had stayed.
I have not been back to Best Buy since being treated like an idiot when I didn't know the answers to questions that their technicians asked about the computer problem.
I have never had any issues shopping with Best Buy but part of that is because I don't shop much there anymore. I am not a fan of their policies, especially return policy. We purchased a camera the day before our honeymoon only to find out after we left it wasn't working. By the time we got back from our honeymoon the 10/15 day return period was up and we were told nothing they could do and to contact the mfg. I had to spend my own money to send it back to mfg only to learn that the camera had been damaged and possibly dropped. This was supposed to be a brand new camera. My husband did mention that the box appeared to look like it had been re-taped shut. The mfg did fix it for us and I had to pay again to have it returned to me. I still purchase things from best Buy sometimes but a little more leery on the more expensive items. Usually Walmart or Amazon have the same thing cheaper and their protections plans are much cheaper as well.
I ordered a new ipod from their site but i guess it was lost im still waiting for the issue to be resolved
I have a New sg6 & needed help cause I accidentally deleted a widget off my, guess you would call my cover page on phone & showed me how to get it back. Then bought cordless charger. So much to learn about...
Had to send my pc in and i still have not gotten it back its been over a week
Really bad experience with bestbuy. Prices are very high and very bad shipping service
Yes you can get a lot cheaper sometimes but its hard to get the right guarantee and best buy they hold their own.
They offer 2 year warranty on almost everything. If you are looking for low to mid level electronics, Best Buy is it.
If you are buying online be careful, ONLY BUY ITEMS SOLD BY BEST BUY. They use outside vendors online, and you cannot return those items at Best Buy.
In the online store business you can find stuff for way cheaper but some places wont have the support or guarantee as some of the bigger corporations if i can i stick with best buy.
Leaving my computer with them for a minor repair, I was asked if I wanted to give them $100.00 to back up my memory. I asked "Why? The service requested has nothing to do with the memory; isn't that correct? The clerk at service intake agreed that it would not be necessary. Yet, when I picked up my computer, I discovered that Best Buy DID go through the effort to wipe all but six basic programs off from my computer. I have read further reports on this operation and today I will ONLY go into a Best Buy if I need to use a rest room. One of America's absolute WORST!
Best Buy is a great store if you're a low information consumer who wants to pay too much money for junky low quality electronics. If you're the "lackluster veteran" INTJ type then this store is a waste of time.
I've ordered many times through best buy. Products that they don't have in store usually. I just have it shipped to the store and shipping is free. Highly recommend it.
Answer: I am sure there is a catch-like a 2 year contract. No one gives you a phone for $1
Answer: All I can say is that you obviously have been very lucky. I was a dedicated customer for 25 years, however, I would do without before I ever spent another dime in a Best Buy!
Answer: I would write a letter to your state's attorney general. There are laws regarding taking advantage of senior citizens. I would specifically ask for documentation from Best Buy in which your grandmother gave them permission to recycle her 18 month old computer. If they cannot produce that document they may be in very big trouble with the state's attorney general. I would also write the BBB and contact your public officials. This I think would be paramount to theft if your grandmother did not give them permission to recycle her computer. On the flip side of things, ASUS is a very good machine. My son is a computer scientist and swears by ASUS. I have three ASUS machines one of which is over 5 years old and it is a workhorse. Unless something significant happens in the ASUS business world, I will continue to buy ASUS!
Answer: Great question. Let us know if you were able to get reimbursed.
Answer: I chose Best Buy tech support because they seemed to offer a good deal on support and I bought my products there. I'll go elsewhere now.
