The company's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, particularly regarding installation services, product returns, and customer support. Many reviews highlight issues with rushed installations and poor communication, leading to repeated service calls. Customers frequently encounter difficulties with returns and refunds, often citing long wait times and inadequate support from customer service representatives. While the company offers a wide selection of products and some positive experiences with online orders, the overarching sentiment suggests a need for substantial improvements in service reliability and customer care to enhance overall customer satisfaction.

I like the online ordering. Good site and good layout.
Easy to shop and navigate through the website, always satisfied with the customer service, my wife loves to shop there. Not going to another store for electrical devices
Fast shipping and FREE! Got a tv for $300 off retail price. Excellent!
I have made many different purchases through Best Buy online. Everything I have ordered has come when they said it would. Their deals have always been right. They have an excellent service department. If necessary they have plenty of stores to go directly in person. They might not be the very cheapest but they are usually fair. Especially, if you keep your eye on the daily and weekly deals. For instance the new 17" Mac book Pro w/ Intel core 7 is about $150 cheaper than through the Apple online store.
This place is good and a very helpful people.
I came to fix my laptop and they have a resonable price and gave me free anti virus for my laptop.
Thanks bestbuy!
Well I can say that when I need something for computer/stereo/ipod etc. I know they will most likely have it for me:)
They are helpful & Great Customer service is what I have received from them.
Thanks BEST BUY I am glad your still in business!
They have a lot of items. But the fact that they try to trick you into buying useless warranty is just crazy
Good overall experience with the geeksquad people. Guy was geeky just like they advertised. He hooked up my wifi network in no time and showed me how to sign on for future laptops and ipad. He even showed me how to change my password for the wifi later on if I wanted to change it. Not sure I will remember how to do that though. Nice not having to rely on friends to come over and do this for me.
BEST BUY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR EXTENDED WARRANTY. Best Buy sells me an extended warranty and then WONT HONOR IT. I called the toll free Geek number and was given a phone order number and told the part will be shipped to my home in 8 to 10 days. Eight days later I get an email from the corporate Geeks telling me to contact the manufacturer.
I call the manufacturer. They say they have nothing to do with Best Buys extended warranty. I call Geeks again, they tell me to tell my local store to order the part. The store hasn't a clue. They tell me they can't. Only corporate can. I have been sent back and forth every time I call. This has been going on for 43 days!
I don't know about the rest of you, but I stopped buying at Best Buy. I just bought my iPad2 and a couple other things elsewhere. I would have liked to use my accumulated Best Buy rewards but I'm not willing to go through this with any other purchase.
I recently purchased a couple things for my iPhone through Best Buy - I realize I could have just driven a few miles there but there's never a guarantee that the story will carry what I need. Purchasing through bestbuy.com is easy, and I think the site is pretty well organized and easy to navigate.
The website is okay and much easier to use. It's way better than shopping in the store where a lot of times the sales people will be hanging out together and ignoring the customers or just walk on by like they are busy.
Easy to search and find what you want, but sometimes the resutls are confusing. Like it'll show two DVDs that look identical, but one has a really high price on it, but it's nothing special.
We recently bought a computer at Best Buy. The price was marked at about $700.00, which was a fairly good price considering the features. What was frustrating is the salesman tried to sell us so many different warranties and service contracts. We really weren't interested and he made us feel like we were making a terrible mistake. We did purchase a few hundred dollars worth of services, including their virus scan. The computer is great and the store was nice. I just was not expecting the forceful sales tactic. If you need certain services to guarantee the life of the computer, they should include it in the cost.
Website is ok, however, I have a beef with the store. My mother and stepfather went there to get a new home computer, and the salesman took them for a ride. They ended up having to wait nearly a week while the "geek squad" installed antivirus software on it that the salesman said was a must. To top it off, they also cam home with an UPS big enough to run half a city block in a power outage. I am not a fan of companies that try to take advantage of people looking for newer electronics that don't know what is what.
I love Best buy.
All my orders have been Great.
My mom Bought me a eee pc Netbook It messed up after one month i bought it back to best buy thinking i was going to have to pay them to fix my Net book but i was WRONG. They Fixed it free and it works great.
Recently i bought my boyfriend a flat screen t. V the price is great and it has the best reviews. We haven't tried it out yet because its for Christmas but i kmow i won't be disappointed.
My point to this review is i love Best buy i always find what i need and i am always happy
Thank You best buy.
Easy site to navigate, at times has better prices than in store, never had any issues.
Cd came on time... shipping charge plus taxes could not believe it how much it came out to be.
I tried to purchase CD's through bestbuy.com. When I placed the order, the product description made NO mention of the item being on backorder or being unavailable. Later on I get an e-mail saying that the item is backordered. I then received another e-mail saying my order was being cancelled. I clicked on a link at the bottom of that e-mail that said "contact us by e-mail" and sent a message asking very specific questions about the product itself thinking I would wait and order it through them again later. When I received a response it did not address any of my questions; it was clear that they didn't even read them. That was the first and last time I used bestbuy.com. If they can't do the simple task of reading an e-mail I do not know if they would be able to do the more complicated task of completing an order so I won't take any chances with them. I would have given them a "$#@!", but the fact that they went throught the trouble of setting up an automated e-mail response for the masses gives them an extra point.
They are so stupid! - I tried to get a a used ps2 from bestbuy.com and they cost over 100$! I went to gamestop.com and the non used ones cost the same! I am steaming!
Answer: I am sure there is a catch-like a 2 year contract. No one gives you a phone for $1
Answer: All I can say is that you obviously have been very lucky. I was a dedicated customer for 25 years, however, I would do without before I ever spent another dime in a Best Buy!
Answer: I would write a letter to your state's attorney general. There are laws regarding taking advantage of senior citizens. I would specifically ask for documentation from Best Buy in which your grandmother gave them permission to recycle her 18 month old computer. If they cannot produce that document they may be in very big trouble with the state's attorney general. I would also write the BBB and contact your public officials. This I think would be paramount to theft if your grandmother did not give them permission to recycle her computer. On the flip side of things, ASUS is a very good machine. My son is a computer scientist and swears by ASUS. I have three ASUS machines one of which is over 5 years old and it is a workhorse. Unless something significant happens in the ASUS business world, I will continue to buy ASUS!
Answer: Great question. Let us know if you were able to get reimbursed.
Answer: I chose Best Buy tech support because they seemed to offer a good deal on support and I bought my products there. I'll go elsewhere now.
Answer: I dont know? I dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont knowi dont know
Answer: Write a genuine review for a product you buy from there, get upto $25 gift certificate
