Their site errors when you give a bad review, then won't let you try again. That explains all the reviews only being good ones. Cost me over $1000 more than planned due to rust, stripped and broken off bolts. All I was able to use is the block and even that required a lot more money and work. Don't trust their pictures. Also shipping was support be 7-10 days. It took a month. Never again.

Purchased 2006 Expedition transmission with supposedly ******* miles on unit on 02-02-2021 well in Sept. The trans. Failed. Well after 9 calls and 3+ hours on hold Ito Edwin Manuel their warranty person I was told I do not have a claim because I did not sign a warranty confirmation... what? They sure did take my payment the day I ordered trans. Which is the only part of this transaction that went quick. Trans was a week and a half late in delivery to begin with. And now 8 months later defective being a ******* mile transmission... ya rite... all I have to say is beware of these con artists they got me for $950.00 + all labor involved...

They took an extra almost 3 weeks to send me my transmission, claiming it was to test it. We questioned it when we recieved it, but trusted them to be honest with us about it. Got it installed & the vehicle doesn't move. We have put it through vigorous testing to 100% confirm they sent me a broken transmission. I attempt to work with Warrenty as that is the main reason I bought from these guys, to have them start running me in circles in an attempt to avoid backing the transsmission they sent me. Just a joke, I am going to be out thousands of dollars because of this company

Total Cost with Shipping----$ 899.00. Salesman told me they were inspected and cleaned and certified to run good. When my mechanic opened it it was mess of oil carbon and mud. It ran with a clanking sound and no power to move the car. I called to ask them for instructions but they never called or answered my emails. Emailed to get a refund and return the engine. AMUP has their phone # in banner of goproengines.com which is a search engine; they sell leads to to parts suppliers. One of these; American Auto Zone - https://americanautozone.us/ is a fraudulent store front. I wired them 1,000s of dollars for an engine that never came. Filed report with FBI. I would stay away.

Placed order with $ on June 25. Agreement read "your part may not be delivered for 3-10 days" because of shipping time. However, it has now been 12 days and item has not shipped yet. I received email "your order has been shipped" yesterday but still not shipped per them.

My shop attempted to purchase an engine from this outfit and was told several times over a two week period it was being shipped out. After we checked with the shipping company, they never had a request for a pickup from that location. Was told by the shipping we could go ahead and get credit for the prepay and not to worry about the restock fee. He would make sure we weren't charged. However, when the check arrived of course it was minus the $260 restock fee for something they never had or shipped and kept giving us the run around. Check #3562. Buyer beware!

I purchased a used transmission from AM used auto parts. Transmission is bad and the company refuses to give a refund. I filed a complaint with the BBB. My next step after the BBB is to get a lawyer and sue them. If they will not stand behind products they sell they should not be in business. Do not buy from them. You will regret it.

They never return calls and would not even help me out on shipping returned item and late on refund!

After reading the reviews I can't believe it's the same company. When I searched for a used transmission for my F 250. They pulled out all the stops. They went above and beyond the call of duty. Professional, reliable, courteous and extremely helpful. Thank you AM.

I bought a 2005 ranger motor 4.0 vin E, to start they send a motor that I had to strip completely. Then they said it had 89 thousand miles not so. The motor had the timing gear all chew up like my 245 thousand mile motor.an they off to buy a timing kit if I was going to do that I would have done to my motor.and all freeze plugs were completely rust off it looks like the engine been sitting in the weather for years. Now they refuse to pay shipping for a motor they send which is no good not a good honest company you hear Bryan

Make sure they sent a picture before you buy anything. I bought an engine for my Honda and came with a big hole on the oil pan. Who wanted that? They charge me restocking fee and delivery fee because my mechanic refused that crap. And the check bounced. Really $1.500 for these? And still waiting for my money back. Don't buy anything for these guys

This company sends out bad engines, and don't test the engines at "All"! I bought an engine that Bryan Johnson said was tested and had only 84k and was in grade A condition. I payed $999 dollars for the engine and payed $1700 to the mechanic for parts and labor to install the engine. The engine had low compression in cylinder 6. I was told I would get a full refund by Bryan Johnson. I have not received anything from this company. My suv is getting storage fees now, cause they don't have another good engine to send me, and I haven't received my refund as promised by Bryan Johnson.
The Better Business Bureau is getting involved and I have talked to an attorney about this matter.
These lying $#*! salesman need to be held accountable, for they are taking consumers money, and making us believe we getting great parts, when we're not!

I purchased a subaru tribeca 2012 engine in Nov. 2019. I had trouble with shipping having to pay my mechanic extra waiting on engine. When my certified mechanic install the engine, he had already told me he thought it was a dirty engine. I called Brian several times and even emailed him several times to no avail. Check engine light has been on since it was installed. I've had sensors, vvt valves and various other issues. The concensus is a clogged oil engine that several oil fushes can't fix. Everytime I try contact AM auto parts I get NO response. By the way the engine was advertised at 73,000 miles, but on Carmax the vin # had more than 173,000 miles. They should replace it, but they won't. Turning the company over to Better Business Bureau. It should still be under warranty.

Bought a transmission from them that was supposedly tested and had a 3 year warranty.
Upon installing the thing didn't work. They asked for error codes which I sent. Then they told me it took more than 15 days for the installation so there is nothing they can do.

I purchased an engine on Jan 27 since I had not received by Feb 8th I called and they argued that it had never been paid for. I explained that I am looking at the transcation online and asked of its whereabouts. He lied stating it was coming from up north but the original seller stated it was coming from Florida when I mentioned this the individual hung up assuring me that I would need to wait 7 more days. THIS PLACE IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE! Where is the professionalism I am running a business as well and cant keep my customer waiting due to their inability to deliver as promised

Recently I purchased a GM 2002/ 3.4 liter engine from AM Auto parts. I was very impressed with the warranty provisions and the level of professionalism. The purchase price was competitive however the warranty added value. During shipping there was a logistics problem. My AM sales representative Bryan, went above expectations to make sure the engine was successfully delivered on time. The engine is in excellent condition and my vehicle is running great.
