Noisy

Although hotel spotless and staff very helpful our room overlooked the Wetherspoon outside area and the noise from here was very loud. This shut at 11.00pm but you then got staff cleaning it until around 1.00am. We found the room very hot as no fan or air-conditioning which we feel needed as no way could you have window open.

I booked a room with amoma.com and I completely regret it! Even when I got to the hotel they said I should never book with them. Somehow the system changed the date I input to the day I was booking so it looked like a same day reservation. I booked the room at 5:05am and they sent an email at 5:16am to finish my booking. The confirmation email did not have a date unless you click on the attachment. That should have been a red flag. However, I did not notice until I arrived at the hotel and they said I was marked as a no show. I ended up having to pay out of pocket when I got there. I tried to call amoma several times and even attempted an online chat that was dormant for almost an hour before someone responded. They said they would investigate and get back in touch with me. They never did so I filed a dispute with paypal but because the reservation was non refundable they would not refund me either. Needless to say I was out $157.02 bc they refused to refund my money.

I did not intentionally go out of my way to book a hotel room through AMOMA, but I was directed to it through a different travel site where I was convinced it was safe and reliable. When I showed my voucher to the hotel upon arrival to check in that AMOMA had emailed me, they did not have any record of my name in their system. The strange thing was that the reference number AMOMA supplied me with was in the hotels system, but under a different name from a different person who stayed at the hotel a year prior. The hotel did not have any rooms left to book, nor did any hotel nearby. This was obviously a huge damper on me and my partners weekend getaway. Thank goodness the person at the front desk was extremely helpful and warned me to NEVER book through 3rd party sites, especially AMOMA, as they have never heard of them nor were they familiar with ever doing business them. While AMOMA did refund me the money they charged me for the room (which I wasn't convinced would ever even happen) it was quite the process to get it done. I called and called and was on hold for awhile each time, without anybody ever answering. I emailed somebody about my terrible experience through their site and about getting a refund. I currently have about 10 different emails in response from them from about 8 different people. And only one person out of all these supposed members from this company said "sincere apologies for the inconvenience". Nobody could even give me a straight answer, and I fear that if I didn't reach out in an email, I would have NEVER received my refund. I even used their online chat tool to get a hold of somebody and they just kept saying the same thing, "note that I cannot provide you with an answer as your case was treated by another department." I wasn't even aware it was being treated at all. It was a big let down on an otherwise good trip. I just believe their site to be a ONE BIG SCAM and I honestly feel stupid for having fell victim to it. Don't make the same mistake... I posted the same review about them on Trustpilot, and AMOMA reported my review as "Inappropriate Content" to get it taken down. A new level of low...

Hilton before flying

Stayed at Hilton Gatwick South after twilight check in. Lovely room. 2 min walk into terminal and departure. Breakfast was excellent.

Beyond expectations

Great stay at the Taj in CT.
Great room, great views, great location. Staff eager to assist. Breakfast a real treat - masala dosas a must to try. The Gardens across the hotel, Long Street and St George's mall and Green market square all in the vicinity. Was really great staying in the city, awesome views of the Lions Head. Would definitely stay at the Taj again. Great value.

What a nightmare

What a nightmare. I tried to book a low rate hotel room. Once I filled in the payment info they stated that I needed to verify the charge with Visa, which I did. During that time the deal expired and I had to rebook. Once I rebooked, the deal was not offered and my booking was declined and I was instructed to search for another hotel. I called my credit card company and found out that I was charged twice for the room, but only received "Booking Declined" message, not a confirmation. I tried calling AMOMA customer support three different times but was on hold for about an hour each time. They provide no email or Chat to communicate. I now have to fight the charges through my credit card. What a scam! Stay away. Ironically I called Hilton Honors and booked the same roome for $3 more and earned points. Learned my lesson.

I travel al lot and wanted to try a new service provider and Amoma.com came up with the best price for my specific location. When I arrived at my destination, they didn't have a room available. So I finally got in touch with Customer Care and after a long while they contacted the hotel and I overheard the hotel say they responded to Amoma.com when the reservation was requested they didn't have room. Basically they didn't, but they did give me a room - Amoma.com said it was ok as they had 'guaranteed' a ROH room and that is what I received. After complaining, Amoma.com send a small stipend - 10% - so I am appreciative of their willingness to admit they - their supplier - might have messed-up.

AMOMA.com attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

Booking reminder not sent and original booking voucher mislaid/ spam. Hotel did not call contact either and had no record of my booking under payers name. As a result, we didn't use the booking and were still charged in full.

The hotel staff was aware of your reservation, as we checked the information with various staff members, but however the guest did not arrive at the hotel to use your reservation. In this case, the reservation has been marked as a no-show, and a refund could not be obtained for this situation.

Amoma kept sending me emails about my reservation being for 5 days when I had only booked it for 1 night... I had to keep calling and no one would answer so I had to chat with a representative. It would take a while to get a hold of a representative... my hotel was great though. Easy to check in

The staff are lovely. The place is spotless. Gardens and pool area are fab. So quiet but only 2-3 minutes walk from the strip. The cafe/ bar is cheap. 100% would recommend
