Left my vision provider who I felt had outdated equipment and practice, who prescribed the incorrect prescription for me and tried America's Best. I went to the location in Flower Mound, Texas. I went in for the $69 special as I have just retired and only wanted single Lense glasses. The optometrist and pre-screener were exceptional, and I felt like I got a thorough exam. When I went to pick out my frames and explain I only wanted the special, there was no upsell! I walked out with a very thorough exam and two pairs of glass for $69, I will be recommending them to everyone I know.
Very ignorant check in lady, talked very low with her hand over here mouth, zero eye contact. Told my wife her appointment was not in the system...time to find a new place.
America's Best of Mentor owes me six boxes of contacts from December of 2019. I left a negative review on their site four months ago, and received a response from the "owner" Nancy. I emailed all of my information, as instructed. It has been five days, and still no answer. This place is a joke and a ripoff. Why is it okay for them to steal from me? They used Covid as an excuse for the delay of my contacts, and then told me it had been so long that I'd have to pay for another exam in order to get them. It was THEIR fault I never received them! Meanwhile, I've paid out of pocket for a contact exam and contacts. I also ordered glasses, which aren't that great either. My insurance would have paid for a glasses exam. My out of pocket costs were very high, nowhere near the two for $69 offer they advertised. I will be leaving a complaint with the BBB next. What they did was thievery, plain and simple.
Extremely rude. I have a friend whose medical conditions won't let him wear a mask. They DEMANDED to know what his health condition is, which is a violation of HIPPA law and the Americans With Disabilities Act. When I explained that to them, they told me I was wrong. Uh, I don't write the laws but I DO know them, at least the laws pertaining to the disabled. Their corporate offices were as bad. If I couldn't wear a mask and they demanded to know why, I'd remind them of the law. If they still demanded to know why, I'd sue them until I owned them. Stay as far away from America's "Best" as you possibly can. Their idiotic management WILL destroy their business.
Hardly anyone leaves there without paying over $300. They don't give enough space to tell y'all the horrible experience I had. I went to the store in Kenner Louisiana on Veterans Blvd.
Got glasses, saw double! Went back and Dr adjusted the prescription and told me to pick a more narrow frame. 14 days later I called to ask status. They said the glasses were there and I had been called. NOT SO. So I went in and no glasses. They said manager would call me that day NOT SO. Next day I called and they said manager would call me that day NOT SO. Next day I called and they said manager would call me NOT SO. Wouldn't have minded them being so slow but their disrespect is autrocious.
One of the worst customer service experience I have EVER received. Manager of the 35th in Quebec, Denver Colorado location should be fired! I will NEVER patronize Americas Best Eyeglass. You get what you pay for including low budget customer service!
Abigail is an absolutely WONDERFUL representitive. Took my daughter for her first exam and glasses Oct 2021 and Abigail was so extremely helpful. My daughter was really anxious about the experience and had a ton of questions and concerns. My daughter is 9, and Abigail was so patient and understanding. I was really appreciative of her service! My daughters glasses arrived earlier than expected and she was so very happy! Everything Abigail had informed her of anticipating was right on point and my daughter, my husband and I were so very pleased with her knowledge and customer service. EXCELLENT! I have been a customer of America's best for a long time and this is the best experience I've had EVER!

It comes with an eye exam by two drs.dr han was great and she found a stigmatism.also let me not forget The kindest from the first person i spoke with Mattie.she was very caring and got me an appt of convenience.then Natalie who explained throughly what i was paying for and made a printout for me.and Jobe who showed me a large variety of frames to choose from.Everyone there made me feel so comfortable.Customer service was excellent from all.They made me feel so special.And followed through updating me when my glasses would be ready.Extremely happy with my glasses and Very impressed with the staff.5 staes to all.Highly recommend the Edgewater Nj location.Americas Best lived up to their name.! AMERIC'AS "BEST" is a f****** SCAMMMMMMM! Go here if you want the cheapest frames on the market at 200% markup! The "2 pairs for $____ plus free exam" is a LIE. They charge you separately for the exam & for each machine used! They give you only 3 options of frames for the advertised price! Extra for thicker lenses & add-ons! They put you in a tiny office which is not the correct distance to measure actual vision. Every part of this process is designed to MILK YOU OF MONEY. What a scam. I am so dissatisfied and paid almost $600! Never going back.
