As a general rule, I "Window Shop"@ the brick & Morter stores, then go on line to actually shop for my items, without dealing with the Anacondas(State sales Tax,& Shipping) the 2 items that "Squezze our wallets! If you want the privellage of doing business with me, than the seller "Eats" the cost of Taxes & Shipping PERIOD!... I have to say I've had exceptional experiance dealing with Amazon!

Amazon, especially with Prime Membership, is far and away the best overall online store. The selection is unmatched, and the prices are almost always the best you can find, or very close to it. Prime is worth it for the free 2nd-busines-day shipping. I do not use other Prime services like music or Amazon Video or anything else. If Amazon raises the price of Prime Membership significantly, then I would have to decline, particularly if their justification is all the added Prime features that I do not use. Otherwise, I cannot rate this store lower than any other I've come across, ever.

This used to be a 5 star site, but for me, especially in the last couple of years, I've had some some delays in getting refunds, or returning items. Now to be fair, when I've called Amazon, I've had good experiences with them, so that's great.
I use them all the time still for the discounts. Some of the prices aren't what they used to be, and shipping has gotten stupid expensive, if you want a package faster, than normal bulk delivery. I still do buy ALLOT of items on Amazon, as the great experiences far out weigh the bad. I in fact Just bought an item, which was faulty, and had No hassle returning it. I like that. Keep it up!
I am an Amazon Prime member. I place several orders each month and the order process is clean and simple I like the 2 day free shipping and there is never a problem with returns. I would prefer that all orders would be fulfilled directly by Amazon rather than by other suppliers, and they should never use USPS for the last mile of shipping, prefer UPS. But overall I am a very happy Amazon customer.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
