I wish I had seen this site prior to ordering from them. Overnight delivery is not guaranteed and now my shipment is three days late. You can't rely on them to deliver on time, and customer service will only send you a form letter and not address your concerns, even upon repeated complaints. I will never use them again. Their prices are higher than buying it at the store, and if I'm not paying for convenience, there is no reason to use this company. Amazon prime is my go to service for everything!
I purchased 12 jars of spaghetti sauce that is notoriously difficult to find from them. The soap.com website had 12 of them available, and so I bought them all. Here is what happened: The order shipped; suddenly the tracking says the order is no longer on the way, but going back to the shipper because it was damaged (it looks totally possible this was a lie); I get an email from soap.com that says they cannot replace the items, but that they will send me 7 of the original 12 I ordered (where did those 7 come from?); I got a refund for 5, and two different tracking numbers for packages with supposedly 3 jars in one, and 4 jars in the other, both coming from somewhere else other than soap.com; I got both boxes, but each with only 3 jars. I email soap.com customer service and explain in very detailed terms that I have paid for 7 jars, but only got 6; their CS rep emailed back and tried to con me into thinking that I already got a refund, forcing me in a position to either let them keep the money, or email back and kind of be a jerk in order to get the refund (which I did). And lastly, when I go back to their website, there is the sauce right there, in stock and available, but for $2.30 more a jar. I have my receipt, when it was $7.99 a jar, it becomes impossible to deliver and they try to scam you into paying for more jars than they send you, but it's no problem to order when it's $10.29 a jar.
When you search for an item, you can waste hours finding what you want, because there is no policing of the rules. You can get literally thousands of hits that have nothing to do with the keywords you entered. In order to search by price, you must select one of Amazon's often pointlessly similar categories. Then, often, you will get literally thousands of entries that are identical. For many items, you will get thousands of entries that have price $0.01, accompanied by shipping costs of, for example, $10.00. This makes searching by price futile. If you want to skip over these thousands of rule violators, you can't do it because Amazon only lets you skip ahead 2 pages. (Not only that, but they won't let you see more than 25 items per page.) They ought to let you enter the number of the page you want to visit next.
I have complained to Amazon numerous times about this, pointing out that the experience at their competitor Ebay, for example, is much better. I have threatened to file criminal complaints against them for being a nuisance. They don't care. The next step would be to be to get millions of Amazon visitors to file complaints with the Federal Trade Commission and state attorneys general, requesting that Amazon be declared a public nuisance and a public health nuisance, and requiring Amazon to meet reasonable and customary standards before transacting any further business.
Love the reviews and return policy. We have prime and get free shipping. I save a lot of time and money by just shopping from home.
Was very sly in the way that they got me to sign up for prime, turns out none of the content was available in my country.
Have bought many stuff there, health and beauty, electronics, any thing. Good CS and just a great online site!
Of course Amazon.com is amazing. I am a medical student and I always order books, etc. through Amazon. They are by far the most reliable site on the Internet. Everything always arrives when and how it's suppose to. Plus, students get Amazon Prime for free! Can't beat that!
You can find best rates at this site. I have purchased many many things from this site and had never a single time problem.
Amazon is truly amazing the service is easy to use and the delivery always reaches on time and sometimes even sooner than expected!
Over the last few years I have purchased numerous items from Amazon. The "1-click" shopping is convenient and delivery is always swift. Not to mention, the items that I have received have always been of good quality and in good condition. Amazon also makes Kindle purchases smooth and easy. Love it!
I love Amazon Prime. The free 2 day shipping is amazing & their customer service is one of the best (and you can just chat online to talk to them). Their media selection under Amazon Prime isn't the best, but the other aspects of Amazon Prime make it worth it. It's especially convenient when you don't have a car.
I love Amazon as an ebook reader, a Prime member with free shipping, and avid book, music, office supplies buyer! I hate to shop at stores as it's a waste of time to me!
Many times shopped on this service. The goods were delivered on time, I'm happy with everything. You can even, and the price is lower, then there will be absolutely fine.
When you order from them you expect next day delivery, but be aware if they ship from over the coast it takes one week. They don't ship overnight for free as it says on their site. A few times the package was dropped in front of the building and not delivered to the apartment. Luckily nobody took it.
Always a good experience. Most items arrive really quick.
Best buy at Amazon, amazing experience with them always get 50% off price comparatively to the market rates. I would like to say thankyou to Amazon
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
