Speakers packed in 1 month out of warranty, inadvertently called amazon US for help, they determined unit was faulty and said they would replace it but transferred me to amazon Canada. No chance policy is it is out of warranty. Offered miserly discount on a new one but it would still cost more than what I paid originally. They suck!
6 days for a delivery is too much and worst part is u havent delivered it in given time. I dont know how amazon is still surviving in the market. Canada needs better online shopping. In India it hardly takes 3 days with flipkart.
They promise the 2 day Prime Delivery by 10 pm (which is far too late for my house, but it ok because it NEVER comes! It arrives 3 or 4 days later, if you are lucky.
Amazon, is not doing well with it's own delivery system
Ordered 10 items on Friday. All Prime items with next day delivery. Didn't receive them. Then Sunday they claim they can't get the money for some of the items but the vendors upped there rates. I had to revise my payment even tho they had taken payments. Couldn't cancel. Still don't have my items it's now Wednesday.
Monday for 2 items they claimed they couldn't get money cause they raised the prices so I had to revise payment again. They changed all the dates on my order from original purchase. Which in the end cost me more then the original total.
What's the point in paying for Prime since they don't honor it in the 1st place?
What a waste of money with Amazon and time.
I'm done with Amazon.
Sorry I have no photos to post since I still don't have the items.
I thought Amazon was suppose to be superior to other delivering methods on the market. Don't be fooled. Their staff are so inefficient and incompetent that they can not ha Nile the simplest of inquiry. If you though that "chatting" with a associate would resolve your inquiry, think again. When you hire staff, hire them because they can do the job not the colour of their skin. Not at all impressed.
When I first joined Amazon prime Canada a person could order items any week days before lunch and get it the next day. Now it is not the case anymore. I order regularly from them and they are pissing me off. Paying prime for 2 day shipping is a waste of money. As an example if I order something on a Saturday fulfilled by amazon.ca I should get it latest on the Tuesday but no they even tell you as you place your order that it will be delivered on Wednesday. If you are not a prime member you will get it no later then Thursday. Why pay for prime and 2 day shipping when it does not exist any longer.
Customer service is the worst. All they do is copy and paste answers for you concerns. I swear it's not even a real person we are talking to.
I had a resent refund of 700. Because Amazon sent me the wrong package and I have to wait 30 days for refund. Can you believe this $#*!.
I don't know what has changed or what has happened to Amazon since the new year but it is becoming almost impossible to deal with this company anymore for me. Almost every order I place gets flag for suspicious activity. Account gets frozen with no help at all from their 'accounts help line'. There is no helpful customer service to speak of in this area and you are left stuck with no idea of why they think now, after I have spent thousands of dollars on their site in the past, these orders are anything but legitimate. It is to the point where it is not worth the time and frustration to shop on Amazon any longer. I know I won't.
I am shocked at the prices I see on Amazon.ca. I only go there thinking I will buy something quick only to realize that the price has tripled since the last time I bought the same item a year ago. I won't be shopping there anytime soon when I can get any item advertised on their site much, much less at home. It's a ripoff. Do the sellers think we are stupid and will pay any price because it's on Amazon. NOPE, WRONG!
I have been an Amazon Prime member for about 5/6 years now. 3rd party sellers should not be allowed at this business as Amazon does not take responsibility for them. There is a tab you can select to see only Prime products however this does not work as I'm still only seeing 3rd party sellers. It's getting harder and harder to see Amazons products. Like almost becoming obsolete. I use to like Amazon Prime but sadly it's gone downhill. I hope another company like Amazon opens up so I could switch. Pictures below shows seller advertising FREE SHIPPING the other shows its false and is trying to charge me $6.99 at checkout
I have been a regular shopper at amazon.ca and today I had the unfortunate experience of having my amazon package stolen from the top of my car roof when I had made the mistake of leaving it there while I ran back into my house quickly. Because of my past loyalty as a customer they were willing to give me a full refund for my $40 cell phone case. I will recommend amazon.ca to everyone I know.
Amazon.ca is a fantastic retailer. Sometimes things take a month or more to get to you but that is because you are going through an oversees supplier -- Not amazon's fault at all. I received a damaged poster on one occasion. I took a picture of it it and they paid for return shipping and i received a brand new one two days later! 90% of items will come within two or three business days even without Prime membership. Like everything if you find a smoking deal you're going to need to pay somehow. Whether that be shipping time or quality of product. THINGS COST WHAT THEY COST!
Having several issues over the past week including a shipment that was not delivered and other issues I continued to ask for a Customer Service Rep / Mgr to speak to in Canada. This is impossible and all parties either live chat or on the phone refused to do or try to have someone call me. Instead again I wasted over 1 hour of my time and still frustrated!
Ordered a jewellery loop and 6 weeks later it had not arrived. Contacted both the Amazon who spoke to the seller for me. My credit card was immediately refunded and I was told if it ever arrived.it would be free! The process was no hassle and the staff friendly and not put out by my small item worry.
They have limited selections compared to amazon.com; and for a similar item amazon.ca prices are higher than amazon.com.
The worst part is that amazon.com do not ship to Canada; so we are stuck with a $#*!ty service as usual.
Ordered items that were to be delivered next day. 4 items and it looks like everything being sent separately. All items were ordered at the same time. Didn't realize till I read reviews that items come from China and repackaged in Canada. Very bad customer service.
Yesterday I needed a product in a hurry, so I chose an item that had 8 in stock and that stated "Ships from and sold by Amazon.ca". Then I chose "Express Shipping (averages 2-4 business days")
Today my order has shipped and the item now says: 7 left in stock.
The catch is that the tracking page says: Shipment has left seller facility and is in transit Columbia, SC, US. Expected arrival is in 7 days. So its not stocked in Canada at all. I haven't had this happen to me before. Usually they just hide the fact that their third-party seller is located in China.
Oddly enough Amazon.ca does not give you a place to review them or complain to them about their policies.
I noticed a charge on my credit card for 393.74 that I did not authorize. I called Amazon to report it. They told me some woman in Quebec bought a Nintendo using my card. NO SECURITY on their part. My bank advised me to have them remove my card information on my Amazon account which I did. The Amazon agent I spoke with said the transaction for $393.74 was still being processed so he would go ahead and stop the transaction. NEVER HAPPENED! The transaction went through anyways. I will not place anymore orders with Amazon as they cannot be trusted. In addition, they are wiping out jobs in smaller retail stores because people are shopping from home on the internet rather than going out to shop.
Overall amazon.ca is a great site to deal with. I have had a couple of instances where the seller was absolutely misleading in the item they were selling. Each time when Amazon was advised they promptly investigated and issued me a refund.
The only downside to Amazon these days is that they demand your CC in order to buy anything from their site. (They used to accept paypal). If you don't have a CC forget about buying anything from their site.
Be careful! Looks like Amazon.ca allows international sellers to post with no obvious indication that they are international. You only find out when the delivery arrives and you get nailed for customs fees. Shame on Amazon for allowing this and Shame on Seller for not posting this info. Any honest sellers out there? I'm happy to do honest business with them so they can profit and I can save.
Answer: Don't believe their delivery guarantee. They are late 4/10 times and are unremorseful for it
Answer: Very tough! No longer usable fir me, a Top 1000 and Vines Reviewer.
Answer: If you need customer service good luck it's not existing
Answer: I've never had to pay duty on anything from Amazon.ca, even if it was shipped from another country.
Answer: If Amazon is going to use a third party courier service, (such as Intelcom), cancel your order and shop elsewhere.
Answer: Happened to me. Just another sneaky way that Amazon operates. Welcome to the club.
