I bought the peloton thread and paid it off with of course interest and when they recalled them I waited but finally mine was replace so they refunded my money peloton to affirm on July 9th as of aug 7 th I received an email I would receive my refund within the next. 2 weeks after many call was told they are short staffed and that's all they said so I ordered the new thread though affirm but canceled it today I think affirm is a company of crooks and would never do business with them again so they are keeping my refund of 4,600 for 6 weeks and the interest wonder why they can't even reach 2 stars on their website
The new Affrim website is set up for customers to make mistakes, everything bunched up can't really read it
I have tried to block notifications from Affirm. They suggest that I talk to Customer Care representatives at *******729, but the reps just say no worries, I won't be charged anything since I never took out a loan. I don't want the annoying notifications popping up!
I have had made two purchases with products that use affirm for credit. Affirm requires you to put a card on file that they charge every month. You have no control of when or how this payment plan stops unless you talk to them first I had to call twice to get the payments refunded that they overcharged and never received a refund. The second product I purchased was through Vshred which was not anything that they promised or said it would be I had two trainers that quit the company within a week of being give the information there information and so I wanted to cancel because I was four weeks into the contract and had received absolutely nothing. Trying to get the refund and the credit back between the two companies has been impossible. And affecting my credit score, if you value your credit score, that is how they get you to pay even though the product is a total scam I will never purchase anything that uses Affirm as a credit co ever again. And will not be pressured by this is a one time offer without ever doing research on the company more thoroughly.
I payed my account off with this company and called them to close it.I was told I could not close it to call back in 30 days after closing account and can close it I have NEVER heard of anything like that before. So stay away from this company it's a JOKE.
Their policy is to be paid only by bank account or debit card. Since I need to make just 1 of my payments via credit card, because I have no cash until next pay period, I guess they don't care to get paid or that it affects future "loans." I could pay them if they let me, but Policy is Policy, right?!
They shorted my refund even though they were fully refunded by the merchant claimed it was interest
Even after I told them the order was cancelled as soon I was told it was back ordered!
I used them once and they closed my account for "security" issues. This company is a scam. Sergio was no help at all. I asked how much I owe them to close the account and he said I don't know. No one could tell me anything. I feel like they use approved me to get my information and then closed the account.
So, I just moved into a new home and at that time my credit score was 831. I had to buy tons of costly items I didn't already have because of "hardwood" (tile floors that are supposed to look like hardwood but fall wayyyy short on look, comfort... You name it). So, I needed to buy area rugs for just about every single room. Also, the home is much larger than my former one. 1 rug cost me ovet $400. I needed 8. Plus the normal ones you'd put down in the kitchen. Threw out a lot of 20 year old things I've been using and bought all new. I needed another Flat screen for the family room. That's where it all went wrong. Bc I felt I was dropping my score too much, I saw a 65" HD at Walmart. It asked if I wanted to use affirm. Since I not only needed the TV, but drapes and rods for the dining room, plus the extra speaker system, I decided to apply. They gave me $1200. With a 831 credit score, I only got $1200 and 19.89 APR. Are they kidding me? Anyway, the TV was completely SHATTERED. Called Affirm, called Walmart (I hate Walmart and never shop there;the TV was a good one and great price) bring back the TV I was told. I said ok, there's another one right near me, can I just swap them out? "NO! You have to wait up to 10 business days for the credit to hit your account. You can apply for more credit at 30.97 APR" I said, wait! I have over $490 left on my line of credit you gave me. They told me I no longer have that and must wait for the return. I told them I'm holding the return receipt in my hand. They did NOT CARE, and. This was a supervisor! I didn't shatter this TV, but was being penalized for it. The next day, we went to BJ's, I just put it on my credit card and. Got the same TV, except it was much better quality and had things on it the Walmart special didn't. Was packaged so well, ya know, how you'd expect a TV to be packaged. Do yourself a favor, and DO NOT EVER apply for affirm. Especially if you have amazing credit like myself. I just didn't want my score to drop anymore and if you add more credit to your availability of such,.;you won't be using a percentage of your previous available credit, but your NEW available credit. Terrible company! Oh, and once my return finally went through Affirm? They didn't adjust my payment terms, they spread out the little bit over 12 months instead. Such a horrible experience
I've bought multiple things through affirm. So why in the F can't they help me now. I've paid off at least 15 things no missed payments and I still get turned down. F*#& Affirm.
I used Affirm for an order and I never recieved the item. The order was canceled and returned to the seller at my request. I had made the first payment to Affirm at the time the order was canceled. Affirm only refunded half of my first payment stating that the money they kept was for "interest". Interest on what?!? From the time the order was placed til it was canceled was a week and a half. How much interest could it have possible accumulated in that time. When I never even received the item. I highly recommend using anything other than Affirm. They will do anything to rip you off.
Do your research before getting involved with this company. There are a lot of better options out there.
I bought a TV from Walmart. I paid it off in 4 payments with no problem. I bought some diamond earrings from Kay jewelry and chose the 12 month payment plan. I have never missed a payment it comes out of my checking account. I have 4 payments left and was issued a $500 credit limit to purchase more if I wanted to. I looked today and they completely took the money limit away saying my credit report changed. I'm agreeing they are SCAMMERS be aware.
I used affirm to book a room but didn't get a confirmation from the hotel. So I thought it didn't go through. I paid with my credit card for the room instead. Now they just a payment for something I didn't receive. Very shady company.
Company allowed purchases on my credit card and allowing others to use the card on Shop Pay. When I called them to stop, they hung up. I called several times, continued hang ups.
I got a simple loan on Amazon from your company, and within a month or so, I made a lot of payments, I'm ahead about four or five months, and the loans are almost paid for, I never get any emails, or anything towards my credit report, from your company, do you actually report, some of the $#*!tiest companies in the country I actually still report to your credit history when you pay them..
In the past I have been very pleased with Affirm. However after my conversation today with the representative and reading others reviews I am starting to doubt my decision to get involved with them. They allowed a scammer company called Carla's car rental to scam me out of a purchase that I had financed through them. I am sure they know this company is scamming people but they continue to do business with them and let their customers suffer. I am going to pay off my loans with them and never use them again. Now I am wondering to what lengths they will allow companies like Carla's to come in and take advantage of their loyal customers (Affirm). I wonder how they all can sleep at night!
I ordered an IPad from Walmart and decided to use Affirm to help pay for it using their payment plan. However I decided to cancel the order and got a different iPad for a cheaper price from somewhere else. Walmart and Affirm never noticed that I canceled the order. And the iPad arrived and when I tried calling and going in store to return the iPad Walmart's employees kept giving me the run around of having to "return it to the website because they are unable to". Walmart's customer service line was horrible until one customer service guy was nice enough to let me send it in. Meanwhile I guess none of the Walmart customer service reps never decided to inform Affirm about the situation, and Affirm kept thinking I kept the iPad decided to charge me for the iPad that I decided to return. I had almost a year long lengthy battle with Affirm to have this fixed, almost putting me as a delinquent for not paying on time until finally they decided to drop charges. A lot of these Affirm employees kept saying "oh you should still pay even if you cancelled". NO I SHOULDN'T. This company is so god awful and greedy and Walmart should switch Affirm to Afterpay or Klarna. Affirm you should be ashamed of yourselves.
This is a ridiculous company
This is a ridiculous company. Please avoid them as business owners and individuals who want to use them. They are far from being professionals. Been chasing them to resolve an issue with them for over 9month; they are giving me the runaround and keep lying about that they are trying to reach out to me. They ask me to set up appointments with their support, but I have not received any calls or replies to my email when the appointment date arrives. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EVER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD BY FFFFAARRR THE WORST.
I DID NOT TAKE OUT A 2000 LOAN WITH THEM. I WAS SPOOFED. THEY SAID THEY HAD TO INVESTIGATE IT, AND THAT WOULD TAKE ABOUT 90 DAYS TO DO SO. YOU CANNOT SPEAK WITH ANYONE THERE ABOUT YOUR PROBLEM EXCEPT THE OVERSEAS AGENTS THEY HAVE THAT JUST READ FROM SCRIPTS AND FORWARDS YOUR PROBLEMS TO ANOTHER DEPARTMENT THAT WILL ONLY COMMUNICATE WITH YOU THROUGH EMAILS. HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF A COMPANY CALLED "REFUSED" THAT IS WHERE THE MONEY WENT. THIS IS JUST RIDICULUS. I HAVE ALWAYS FOUGHT HARD TO KEEP A GOOD CREDIT RATING WHICH I HAVE AND IF I NEEDED A LOAN IT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN WITH AFFIRM AND THEIR HIGH INTEREST RATES.
Answer: On paper legit, sort of, but really a scam. They aren't even who you are financing with.
Answer: I had heard of the company because a friend actually knows the owner. Very sorry I did worst experience I have ever had.
Answer: It's not. They now also are charging large interest amounts. Don't use them.
Answer: Follow Walmart's lead... don't use them! Affirm makes everything complicated.
