Bought equipment from TMG Industrial and was approved! Payments setup out of bank. We are waiting for delivery then I gt a call saying I owe them extra for delivery. I said no. Tmg said I can cancel your order my wife was what is going on with this shipment? I told her if tmg wasn't going to honor there word we are not getting it! Then I call Affirm they said they don't get involved with any company but we still have to pay for equipment until they cancel and TMG will let them know and maybe 6 weeks i will get money refunded. This company are bunch of idiots that care nothing about anyone but themselves! Get involved with the companies you do business with!
The product that I ordered was empty. A $60 cosmetic cannister of lotion - empty. I sent a video and all requested info but they have ordered me to pay for it. Very snodgy.
Affirm is Great payment plan company! I don't know what I'll do without them. But Affirm is unreliable, unhelpful, and difficult to work with. Waste and unlikely wanting to option pay with. Only used Affirm like 3 to 4 times.
I dont know how this company is still in business. I NEVER had an issue with them but 2 months ago I updated my phone number on their app and afterwards, got a message to contact customer service for further verification needed. And oh boy this is where the ride straight to hell started. I have called everyday for 2 months and no one has been able to helped me. I spoke to a supervisor who hung up on me and another one who had me on hold for 45 mins and forgot about my call. I've made many, many, MANYYY calls and sent so many emails and this has become a nightmare at this point. No one calls you back, no response at all, no professionalism AT ALL. I've dealt with many companies in my life and have had good and bad experiences but never have I EVER had such an overwhelmingly terrible experience as I have had with Affirm and Shop pay. 2 MONTHS OF MY LIFE trying to get someone to help me! At this point it's about to be 2 months and a week and no one gives a flying crap about helping me, a person who has been a loyal customer for years. I am infuriated and extremely disappointed of this experience. Do yourself a favor and close your account with them because god knows that if you ever run into an issue and need customer services' help, you WILL NEVER be able to fix your issue. No words could describe how their lack of responsibility, professionalism and "commitment" to their customers is beyond the lowest or the lowest and how this ends of affecting us. From customer to customer, you have been warned. RUN! And before someone from affirm replies by saying "we are sorry about this please reach out to us to this number or this email" JUST DONT! SAVE IT! That's ALL they say and NEVER get back to you. LIKE EVER.
Would actually give less than 1 star Affirm approved me for $4,600 purchasing but each time I try to order items it cannot identify me?! Very inconvenient. AFTERPAY is the best. My payments go through with no difficulty. So unfortunate that businesses rely on Affirm unless they know the deal and are trying to have you pay full price
There is no proof of purchase because Affirm does not allow you to purchase
Process people's payments in a timely manner. Leaving people's money's in limbo for over a week is unacceptable. Get customer service personnel to do more than read from a script and that can speak clearer English. Can't understand anything the people are saying makes it difficult to communicate.
I maid a 1000$ payment from my bank account not a card and 7 days later still not processed wtf come on guys.
I asked a rep on the phone with Affirm about logging in to my account (who was speaking some foreign language)
I then asked about a product to finance and I was not sure about the product, so I said I will call back at a later time.
30 minutes later I get a email from Affirm they ran my credit report with zero authorization.
I called them right after and they had no idea what I was talking about. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY
Bait and switch with huge deception practices
Say no credit check and you may be a fool to think they can't screwup your credit score!
They do! And they do!
They report the smallest purchase as a new account! Thanks $#*!s!
I DONT RECOMMEND THIS AFFIRM THEY ARE VERY BAD COMPANY I WENT CHECK OUT MY 60.00 PURCHASE IT DECLINE BUT WHEN I GO KLARNA ALMOST A THOUSAND IT APPROVE SO YOU GUYS DO NOT SELECT AFFIRM AS YOUR PAYMENT THEY ARE NO GOOD
The customer service at Affirm is the worst I have dealt with. They were actually rude when a payment could not be verified and insisted that I use another payment method. I had one rep who said that it would be reviewed by technical services and I would have a response withing 72 business hours. All they did was send an email saying I needed to use another payment menthodn
I went to another source and the transaction went through within 3 minutes. The good news is I saved a ton of money due to their excessive interest rates! The term usury comes to mind. Call a credit union.
I've had no issues with Affirm and lauded their company up until recently, when I had an issue with a return, of which I got only a partial refund and continued to pay off in full - the remaining amount owed back to my refund, they claim is discrepancy based on the merchant (a renowned powerhouse company who would never), anyway they delayed the dispute past the dispute 60-day window (intentionally) and are now accusing the company of charging extra and saying I owe that amount which should've been refunded. Just unbelievable. I don't know what happened but Affirm is a complete incompetence crisis. Please spare yourself the blatant lies, frustration, rip-off and AVOID.
Recently had to replace my phone and get a new number. Multiple times I have tried to change my number on the account both through their website and also by phone. The phone rep was extremely rude and hung up on me as I offered to stay on the line while they processed my payment. Payment was due two days ago and is now late and I have no way of accessing the account to make payment.
Affirm is ruining my credit score if you don't pay on time they will report you and ruin your credit that's how they operate don't ever use affirm...
Guys, you have really annoying customer experience, I feel already unbelievably frustrated.First of all your address validation service is bull$#*! as I'm putting the correct address and it just refuses me. Second - I'm already waiting for the customer service to answer for 30 an hour. I have my own work and meetings and I don't have that time to wait for summon to answer and change the f*cking address! And I cannot do my purchase because of that. Moreover your waiting music is so awful so it's starting to drive me crazy after the first 5 min of wait
If there is a problem you get ZERO help from those morons, get the run around in their stupid system wasting time with ZERO resolution, and stay far away from this company!
I called to try and fix a problem with my card and had to cancel entire order because they are completely unable to handle even the smallest issues. The customer service rep was rude and not at all helpful. Paying off account and never going back.
I ordered a gazebo for $996 through Affirm then I paid it off within a day or two I order through Affirm for protection. I never got my gazebo and I've never gotten my money back.
This is the worst company. Verified my identity what felt like 700 times. I have a hyphenated last name. I gave her both last names, separately and together, gave them DOB, gave them cell number, and email. She said they couldn't verify me. Spoke to a supervisor after being on hold for 46 minutes who stated he couldn't verify my account. Went through a back and forth for another 40 minutes until he was able to verify my account with GUESS WHAT?! THE ORGIONAL NAME I GAVE THE FIRST LADY I TALKED TO. All I wanted to do was change my payment date. An hour of my life I will never get back.
I have/had quite a few loans with Affirm. They are all on auto pay from my debit and checking account. They offer me this Debit+. I used it to pay for something and split the payments. I used it a second time for $96.00 and did not split into a loan. The Affirm Debit+ is attached to my checking account. Since the very first transfer attempt in June the transfer has failed. Three months in a row. I take out my info and reenter and still they tell me it's me, then it's my bank refusing. I called my bank and they don't have a record of any attempt to transfer the money from Affirm. The next remedy they say is to link another bank account. How many bank accts does one person have? While doing my own research on their app I finally noticed when I put my banks routing # in the Affirm app, the name of the bank that shows is not my bank. Not even the same state. I have told this and written it to Affirm on four occasions. Every time they contact me they never reference my problem or even return my messages, they simply fire off a scripted email totally oblivious to their problem. I called twice and asked for a supervisor. I waited on hold for so long on both occasions I hung up. I have offered to pay over the phone using my debit card. They can't accept any payment other than transfer between the linked accounts is what they tell me. Oh well. Sounds like an Affirm problem. My next stop is my congresswoman and the FTC, Bureau of Consumer Protection.
Answer: On paper legit, sort of, but really a scam. They aren't even who you are financing with.
Answer: I had heard of the company because a friend actually knows the owner. Very sorry I did worst experience I have ever had.
Answer: It's not. They now also are charging large interest amounts. Don't use them.
Answer: Follow Walmart's lead... don't use them! Affirm makes everything complicated.
