Horrible Company

From what I can tell this is mostly just a means to steal your information. They are worthless as far as loans, nothing short of a Loan Shark, and they likely sell your personal information. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUD!

The worst customer service!

After using the service for 2 years they decided to turn off my business due to I'm not able to confirm my identity. I've called regarding the issue and they refuse to authenticate who I am. This is the most absurd customer service I have dealt with. Extremely unprofessional unwillingness to help a good customer like myself

Affirm overrated

Paid double pymt to be ahead by 1 month with affirm then paid the last ending pymt first leaving 1 pay left. Affirm denied my credit after that because pymt was not in order and started digging for dirt after that to deny me further credit. What makes it worse after denying they keep asking the denied to apply so they can say sorry you are not worthy. So unless you are Jesus this is not a good company to deal with and my decision is final.Never beg anyone who shows no compassion.Everyone deserves a decent chance and this company shows none unless you are near perfect and no one is that except the person mentioned. Good riddance affirm with a little a.

If one wants to use Affirm again after their first loan. Do not pay it off early. I did that now my account is locked and know one at Affirm seems to know why. Now I was 5olrvsecurity needs to look at my account to see what happened and that could take 3/5 maybe longer. Yeah, right. Don't use them if at all possible

1. Can't add a card - even if you think you did, it just "disappears" into thin air
2. You'll get MULTIPLE text messages that you enrolled in Auto Pay. But then 2 days after due date, it turns out you're not in Autopay and they will bother you about being "overdue".
3. Can't write a ticket for customer service in a calm way, you have to talk to online "assistant" or call - which makes experience even worse as I'm already agitated.
Never again. Paid off everything in one go, will wait 2-3 days and delete my cards from their system, because - who knows - maybe I'm still "overdue"
Advice: take screenshots of everything you do with them.

I purchased an online class and used affirm to pay for the class. After some period of time, I realized that I was misinformed by a sales team and the class does not match the brochure. I reached out to affirm to open a dispute because the vendor declined to refund me. And it appears that Affirm does not want to dispute it because the vendor has 7 days return policy. I tried to explain to an affirm representative that I was basically scammed and the purchase does not meet the description, and still I was told that the vendor has 7 days return policy. Then I asked if I purchase an iPhone, and the seller sends me a picture of an iPhone, you still not going to dispute it? And again they started talking about the vendor's policy.

I don't see any reasons to use affirm in the future since I don't have any protection. I'd rather use a CC and pay interest, but at least I am going to know that my bank can protect me from scams.

Absolute garbage company. Used them for a purchase through Amazon. Returned the items almost 2 months ago, was credited for one of said items, the other two not. When I called they said that they do see that all items have been returned and they got their money back. Great. But they refuse to give me my initial down payment back and told me I still have to pay the remaining balance or it will go to collections?!?! How does that make sense when Amazon has credited them already? It should be free and clear! They owe me my down payment back. It seems when you talk to different people at affirm they all say different things, no one seems to know what the hell is going on. I've filed a complaint with the bbb because this is bull$#*!. Stay far, far away from these crooks.

Interest Free is a lie!

Charged additional $30,loans end. I had no idea I was being charged interest. I missed no payments!. I didnt read their contract, becayse I assumed they were honestly, Not charging interest. Its their claim! Deceptive! Untrustworthy!

I received damaged merchandise. Affirm said they would research and contact the merchant. They said give them 30 days. They said I was not responsible for any payments until their review was complete. They lied. Within 1 week, they contacted a collection agency. BUYER BEWARE. SCAMMERS. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE

Was charged $244 for an order that never existed and this was Per merchant's saying so. All information was sent to affirm from merchant stating order never existed but I was still forced to pay this loan. Do not use Affirm

If I could give negative stars I would

Affirm is refusing to give me my money back, I was told by the merchant that they did not process my transaction. They sent me an email immediately afterwards confirming the cancelation as well as an invoice of the $150 I had to pay to cancel. I sent this information to affirm as well as did a threeway call with an Affirm agent and the merchant, who confirmed my transaction did not process and I was told by the affirm agent I would be refunded immediately. I messaged the next day to confirm my refund was being processed and I was back to square one. They said I would have to contact the merchant. I have never dealt with such a difficult company before. If you ever need a return or your money back, do not use affirm. I am going to contact a lawyer to see what my legal options are.

I paid my second to last payment on Jan 4th. The system took 3 payments. I called immediately and they said they would refund the 2 extra payments. They still came out of my account. They told me the refund would take up to 10 business days and that's no problem but it's now 14 business days. Terrible customer service when I called I was told there's a technical issue and I'll get my money but they don't know when. Would not transfer me to someone who could give me an answer. I have actually over paid the loan now by a payment. Nobody called back as promised. No follow up and still out $350. Will call bank and report fraudulent withdrawals.

This has been months of trying to resolve our issue. They have ruined our credit so we can't even buy a house. Purchased a product from a seller, used affirm, big mistake. The product didn't work, I returned the item but they are still coming after me for the money saying I'm late on my payment. They already have 42.00 of my money and won't refund it, for a product I returned. I have called so many times, sent proof of returned item to no avail. Now we can't buy a house, they've put it on my credit report. The most ridiculous company. Customer service is a joke. They won't stop sending over due notices. We are filing a BBB report

I was baraged with notices of 'serious; ans 'grave' delinquencies to my account. I called and paid it by phone. A week ago the same thing happened sp I called to ask whether they had a record of the first payment an they told me nothing had been paid. That was a lie, They had already withdrawn it from my bank. The customer service reps are incompletent and there's no way of reaching this shady company.

Do not get credit from this company. Horrible customer service. Will not refund your money when you return an item. So you end up being without the item and still having to pay for it. I'm only able to talk to a low-level customer service people who have no power. Promises are made nothing is ever done. They close case for bogus reasons, then reopen it when I call to complain, saying they're sorry and they understand. And then close it again. They just hope they will cause you enough problems that you will just go away. I will never use this company again, and I will never refer them to anyone. I warn all of you not to use this company.

Scam

They will make multiple deductions out of your account without your permission. The money will not be deducted off your bill so when you call to speak to representative for help they will tell you that it was on the banks and not their end. Obviously this is not true as the bank does not hold power to deduct money for another company nor would that profit the bank in any way shape or form. In the past week they have made five fraudulent deductions for my bank account completely depleting my funds. No one in this company will contact you back. Please beware

Fraudulent Activity

THIS COMPANY IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM! Woke up this morning to find my account overdrafted $200. I made a single payment of $150 yesterday, well they took out 5 payments of $150. I do not have any money in my account. I only owed one more payment of 150 so they took way more than I even owed. They took out $750 from my account. It even overdrafted my credit card. Now I've been trying to get this straightened out all morning and no one can help me. They can't even tell me if my money will be refunded. THEY EVEN ADMITTED ON THEIR TWITTER THAT THEY TOOK MONEY OUT OF PEOPLE'S ACCOUNT. WE WANT ANSWERS AND WE WANT OUR MONEY BACK. Like for real, this is theft! No authorization of this on my part. I am so upset over this, how does this even happen!? Please do not do business with this company.
