Do not even consider taking a loan with AFFIRM through Amazon. If by chance you cancel your order it will take over THREE MONTHS to get any type of refund. The back and forth between AMAZON IS RIDICULOUS!
In the meantime you run the risk of non payment or credit score will get affected.
Think twice! DEPLORABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
If you order from someone that they pay and it turns out to be a scam they will not help you. I been trying over a month to talk to a person it will not happen. Stay away no matter how legiate they appear they aren't.
Worst "customet service" ever. They don't even know what that is. They are fraudulent. They want money from you for something that you NEVER received, provide all the documentation, just for them to close it a day before your payment is due, and then they delete all the correspondence. No one can do anything, "it's not my department". They need to be shut down. What a disgrace!
I purchased a ticket in January of 2023, I cancelled it right after, the ticket was financed by Affirm Company, ASAP Tickets did not give the all money back to Affirm in time, and not a full refund as they promised. This went on my Credit Report as an unpaid item, and lowered my credit score from 800 to 600. It is now May 24th and I still have it on my Credit Report. I had to hire a company to correct my score now costing me $ 700.00 to correct something that I DID NOT DO. ROBIN TALMADGE
Affirm offers services through companies that are not reputable. 1 Year later and I am still paying for a debt that has not been resolved.
I have several online payment plans, all I score 5 stars for except for Affirm. They claim I was late in the past on an account and they have denied me credit. I have NEVER been late on an Affirm payment. They are horrible and by their low customer satisfaction score I am not the only one that feels that way.
I purchased a gazebo and used affirm option. Next day I did a search on the website I purchased the gazebo from (Frantic Bags) as I was concerned the gazebo was so low cost. Well, upon searching I was hit with a multitude of warnings of the place I purchased it from. I immediately informed Affirm telling them that the place was a scam, I tried calling twice, and sent them emails with no results. The phone numbers were not in service. Affirm did not believe me and continued to show them proof. I finally turned them into the BBB with no results as Affirm still insisted on showing proof that it was a scam website. I they are still holding me liable for the loan even though I have not received anything. I will be getting an attorney and suing affirm for supporting known scam web sites.
Affirm is doign business with a known scam company (Ticketfaster) who tried to get me to confirm tickets for the wrong venue and date which I did not accept when propted to by an email from Ticketfaster. Upon calling Tickefaster to let them know that it was the wrong date and venue, they didnt care, wanted me to accept anyway and "figure it out" later. I didn't pay affirm and opened two (2) tickets with them to no avail. They still sent me to collections. Rip OFF Scamming company. Any ideas how to get this off my credit report?
Do not be fooled by their advertisements. I wish Ihad read reviews on Better Business Bureau first. They are a scam. If you run into a problem, they won't lift a finger to help you. BEWARE.
They take my money out but they didn't transfer and process my order don't use it very very bad not recommend at all
I was charged twice for a down payment and contacted customer service several times to reverse the charge, with proof from my bank account-they claimed they had no record of this occurring. They have not rectified the situation. Several days later, the charge is still pending (thanks to a hold placed by my bank). It's been extremely frustrating.
I was told I would get a refund after a computer glitch, they told me ofc dont worry you just have to wait for a week in order to see the refund. No refund was made on the due date so I call back customer service the agent tells me oh now the procedure changed AND I have to prove that there was a glitch. I was like I already did. At this point I was done I wanted to speak with a supervisor wil call me back the same day. Ofc no one called me so i had to call back the new agent said oh noo there was a misinformation it can take up tp 48 hours to receive a call back from a supervisor. So I patiently wait for a call no one call. LIARS.I ll have to escalate this with VISA. INCOMPETENT I dont even now how theyre still in business.
Affirm will not work with you on changing your autopay even if it means having issues with a past due account. I tried to change my auto pay date, and they would help me.
In shopping and buying with the firm was a mistake. They don't care about any circumstances whatsoever except about themselves. I learn my lesson to shop elsewhere, affirm as a crappy company.
I was having trouble login in called customer service person was rude and did help at all...dont not do business with this company
THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE...THE APP IS CRAP AND THE SO CALLED SUPERVISORS ARE INEPT. SOMETHING AS A PHONE NUMBER CHANGE WIL LOCK YOU OUT AND YOU WONT BE ABLE TO GET IN FOR DAYS...PLUS IF YOU CAN UNDERSTAND THE REPS FROM THE SCAM CAPITAL OF THE WORLD (INDIA) GOOD LUCK! NEVER USING THEM AGAIN!
I purchased something and the first payment was attempting to be done. During the application to buy my camera lens Affirm asked for my Bank debt number so each month an amount could be removed. The first payment was not completed because the person was attempting to run my debt card as a Visa card, I received a message about this. I contacted a member of their HELP team. I explained that the card number I gave was a Bank Debt Card Number as they requested not a VISA card. I gave her my Debt card number and she ran it through and said the VISA wasn't accepted. I said because that is a Debt Card. I then said I will give you my VISA card number and you can run them through with that. I give her all the information and answers yes to a request to do that. Once all that was done, she proceeded to tell me that Affirm doesn't accept Visa cards as a payment method. I asked why did we just go through this when you knew it was my Visa card. I then give her my Debt card number to make sure she had it correct. I told her this was my bank debt card. She ran it through again and responded that the Visa didn't go through. I said we just talked about this for the last five minutes... IT IS A DEBT CARD... run it through as a debt card. She tried again and said it went through. I told her if she did it right in the first place I would not be calling her.
I decided to file a complaint and called back and got another person and explained what happened. She said the payment has gone through and what was the problem. I said, thank you and hung up.
