Horrible user experience. CS is virtually non-existent and difficult to access. Redundant chat access. If their CS is an example of their product I have serious doubts about how well my home is now protected.
I'm a former Employee of ADT from the Redlands Branch. Part of my reason for quitting is due to the Service Manager -Joseph Bautista. He talked negatively behind my back to my coworkers. Also, I was told I could make big money thru the SCORE Lead Program, when in actuality I only made $45 dollars. ADT is a joke and I would never recommend working for this company or doing business with them.
At the time the installer installed the security system i signed a 2 year contract went to cancel after the 2 years they told me it was a 3 year contract & told me I would have to pay $400 to cancel avoid
This company is the most dishonest absolute worst. Looking forward to canceling A. S.A. P. Did not receive our free doorbell cam that was promised then offended by customer service. A regional manager even completely flaked on a home appointment. After more unfulfilled promises.
Can't be a worse company. They continuously ripped us off and lied to us, I lost track how many times and server headache. Got to point where I would try and record phone conversations. They even deleted a doc using on their end because they messed up. I never leave bad reviews. Stay away. I promise nothing is worse then he'll I went through.
I contacted ADT to let them know I was selling my home, and moving to a temporary location until the construction on my new home is complete. I was told in order for me not to be assessed a breech of contract fee, I would need to go with Blue by ADT (which is a total rip off), despite the fact that my family member who I reside with has an alarm system with another company. I was also told my account will be in a suspended status until service is resumed at the new home. So why do I need Blue by ADT I asked, and the rep said I will need to activate the system at the new home until a technician is able to come out and install a full alarm system. Well my account was suspended for a few months, then all sorts of erroneous charges started hitting my credit card. Oh, that was one of the conditions for this Blue by ADT, you had to have a payment method on file for them to send out this mockery equipment. I had to have my credit card deactivated to avoid bogus charges, and my Servicer is currently investigating these fees. I was told I signed a contract that I never signed, and the copy I requested just shows a "print" of my name. I was also told accounts are only suspended for 2 months per year, and someone must have been generous in my case. Okay, so there are no policies or procedures actions are based on generosity? I do not advise anyone to go with this company. Please don't
The lady handling customer cancelations at adt is extremely unprofessional. I can see why they're currently in a lawsuit. Wish I had 4 hands. I would give them 4 thumbs down... Booooo...
Every 1 star review on here already says it all. Why don't they have a Google review page? Plain and simple, nobody would ever buy their systems. Deceptive sales practices, exorbitant cancellation fees, the app is terrible and barely works. I pray that this company goes out of business soon. If you need a security system SHOP LOCAL!
At no point did anyone mention a contract. I flip homes and call to notify them of the sale and they tell me I owe them $1400 for the remaining contract. What a SCAM!
Where do I start? I am beyond frustrated with this company. A alarm went off and the police wouldn't go out because 2 sensors weren't tripped. Since when does the bad guy set off multiple alarms.
Then I call to cancel my service over a hour of wait time and several transfers later not to mention being hung up on twice Im finally told to do it online the next day. Literally the WORSE company and customer service. Don't waste your money, time or health on this company!
I have been a customer for over 14 years and recently wanted to get ADT for my elderly Mom. The sales person was rude at times, gave inaccurate information just to make a sale in my opinion and now I've been trying to fix all the issues, and have been switched from person to person, discounted with no call back even through they stated they would call me back. I have never had this experience with ADT and would not go with ADT as a new customer based on all these issues. I've spent over 4 hours between sales and trying to get all the issues resolved and I'm still not done. They need to train their employees to gave accurate information, call back when they say they will and work harder to support long time customers.
I have been sent to three different people trying to cancel my service. I first tried to cancel online but was told I had to talk to a rep in person. They list a number to call to cancel - 1-800-adt-asap, but that is only a telemarking company who tries to talk you into keeping the service. They then transfer you to another customer service rep "who can help you with your request" but who in fact is just another rep trying to talk you into keeping the service. They then transfer you to "customer service" - still on hold over 20 minuets. I hate this lack of true customer service - will never use them in the future.
But my complaint is I was with ADT for three years call for front door sensor and when they got here they talked me into upgrading my system not one time did they say I was gonna be stuck into another three-year contract also came out my pocket $300 to upgrade with being a customer for three years and to just upgrade your system you are stuck into another contract that is ridiculous especially when they don't tell you that hope this helps just keep your same system trust me the old systems works the same. Also before going to ADT make sure y'all Google search because it's a lot of reviews about ADT

I used ADT for few years and their customer service is really bad. When I called a month ago to cancel my service, they offered me an upgrade to keep me as a customer. Then I got the contract to sign and the price per month was different than what was quoted. When I refused to sign the new contract and requested to cancel my services they didn't cancel my services and still charged my credit card on file that I will dispute. I would not recommend this company at all. The customer service is really bad. They put me on hold for over an hour.
We installed a security system over 18 months ago which was designed by ADT. It was over $*******. 00 and never worked adequately despite a half dozen or so encounters with technicians both virtual and on site. After much trial and error and multiple attempts to fix the system it finally works. I have been able to alarm the system for the first time 2 days ago. I asked ADT for a break on the monitoring fee I had paid on time for 18 months, but the best they would offer is one month free monitoring and $240.00. I requested one year free monitoring and no money. I would suggest looking to a monitoring service that cares about its customers. It is not ADT.

Had equipment installed about a month ago. Every night at 11pm it goes of saying the panel is being tampered with cops come out I tell them it's a faulty system it's getting old fast. Customers support is not helpful at all it a loop of questions.
How would we rate ADT security? -5 Would not be low enough. We had our system installed mid February 2022, and it was a nightmare from day one. Doorbell camera quit working the first day, then the real trouble started.We armed "away " the next 10-15 days when we went out to doctors, grocery, etc. 90 % of the time when we returned home and entered our home, no alarm went off.We should have heard "disarm system now "but instead we heard silence."Troubleshoot" number was called several times with the "all seems to be working properly". Then a tech came out and ran a few tests, "see no problem"was his reply. Then we called "troubleshoot" again to set up appointment for a tech to come remove all equipment, "District manager "will call you no later than Wednesday. Surprise, Surprise, no call. Called "troubleshoot" again, "district manager is in a meeting and will call you when he gets out". Surprise again, no call.So I did what I should have done before chest pains started, we called our Attorney! No way would we recommend this company! Guess what, after talking with our attorney, chest pains stopped! All we want is for the equipment to be removed and our money(almost $2400. Paid when installation was done) refunded. Money back guarantee? We will see. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ADT unless you desire lots of stress! We will warn all our friends and family that live in North Carolina of our experience with ADT, so hopefully they will not experience the stress and grief we have!
I put in a work order for $600. While I was at work, the tech got my family member, who let him in, to install additional equipment. My bill was $1,400. Numerous calls, hours on the phone... only led to them threatening to charge me over $2,000 for a contract I didn't even sign. They also billed me for two addresses instead of one because they failed to transfer the service.
They charge you for them to come out even if it's on there end. Selfish greedy company that finds ways to get free money and the service the hole alarm system is junk.
Answer: Difficult to reach them and even more difficult to reach someone who can assist accurately. A lot of billing hassles.
Answer: No $60 call out service charge anytime there are any issues including dying batteries.
Answer: Don't go with ADT, the worst company I've ever dealt with.
