Fees

I will never purchase anything from acceptance now. There fees are ridiculous. They charge a fee to call to make a payment and also charge to payoff furniture. I do not recommend getting anything from Acceptance Now. If you can just layaway and pay as you go, but going this route don't do it. They harass you as soon as your late. They call next day. I will never purchase anything from Acceptance Now ever again.

I will advice anyone who is trying to use this company... please please don't do it. Gather your money together and buy your stuff at once. This is the worst company to deal with. They will reap you off and then they will tell you " I apologize "

Ripped me off
September 1, 2022

I paid this people off and they claim i did not this is the worst company ever. Now im stuck paying my item off twice. They charged my debit card my side said approved thank you there side of the screen went black supposedly. Ive shown them my bank statement where its posted under their company name but still want more money WTF its paid off greedy azzholes.

Acceptance Now

Do not ever deal with this company. I was told that during this pandemic that I wouldn't have to make a payment since my wife was out of work. I noticed they put it on my credit report I was 30 days past due. After calling the corporate office I was told my situation was being escalated and I would get a call back. I never received a call back. When I called them again I was told they did not have any information and I was now 80 days past due. This company will ruin your credit and flat out lie to you. I am going to sue them.

This is the second time I called to increase the amount of my monthly payments and they charged my card for the new amount right then even though I already made my payment this month and I specifically said it was for my next months payment. This is the second time they took my last dime. Last time I let it go because it was my last payment. This time I need $225 put back in my account. They also got me in their discount club but didn't mention it is $35 a month which will be triple the amount of the discount. I will never use them again or go to a Rooms to Go again. I would not advise anyone to ever use there service it is a complete scam. They will tell you false information just to get you to sign on dotted line but once you leave thats when the scam begins. They will charge you way more then what they tell you that you have to pay without informing you at all. You are give no paper work or documents to inform you of any additional fees. I called to speak to a rep at the Cicero location they are the worst and VERY unprofessional. I was hung up on when asking questions regarding my balance then I called back and spoke to the manager who clear as day told me the payments I was told aren't correct and that's not their problem so deal with it. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life and I wouldn't advise anyone in the world to ever use this horrible company.

Horrible

Very horrible service, never get a straight answer, we bought furniture from Ashley Furniture in Woodhaven and the lady in the office doesn't know her head from her rear! Just keeps going around in a circle, we got on the program so we didn't have to pay upfront, and didn't want to pay for a year, but this is a rip-off! Today I thought I was done and then get informed that we still owe 300.00 bucks, in 15 days to end the program not a month, 12% to be on the program. Don't even get hooked on this, you'll either end up paying double or triple not worth it. Stay away from this program I can not stress it enough!

My credit application was denied for 500.00 and my wife tried and was also denied. We both have excellent credit according to the credit bureau. Room Store purchase of 500.00? We ended up just paying cash. So insulting!

The fees are not disclosed properly. It is very difficult to get anyone on the phone with the authority to help you.
They are dishonest and you are subject to several hidden fees. Don't use them. They are not 90 days same as cash. Don't be trick.

RUN!

Never use this company! Unfortunately I had no credit and was forced to take what I could get, but next time I will just save before using this company ever again! This company gouges you with fees and is extremely rude. I had fraud on my credit card so I called and updated it. The following month I get FIVE declined emails that this company tried to process my old credit card. Then I login to make payment, it won't let me. I call to make payment only to be placed on hold by a very rude worker. Just run when you hear AcceptanceNow unless you're willing to Accept FEES, RUDE customer service reps, and HASSLE to pay your own bill!

Just don't do it!

I've been with RAC and they're sister companies acceptance now is worse ALOT worse with rent a center yes they charge interest but it gives you a run down every month after making your payment on how much you've paid. Acceptance does NOT I've been paying on my stuff for a year now I've paid the loan off but now paying off the interest which is literally 50. %. Almost 4000 dollars in interest biggest $#*!ing rip off ever stay away from this business!

I payed everything before 120 days but they charged $550 more and I paid in order that the close the account and removed me from the credit bureau. Instead, they continue charging and they have that I own $800 in the credit bureau.

They laughed at me when I sent proof of payment and the information they told me is that I can't take the to a lawyer because they make everybody sign that they can go to court or lawyer. They are an scam, liars, bullies and thief.

Don't go to them because your credit can become at risk.

RUN they are scam artist I thought that I was getting a good deal and they would report to my credit but after the initial 4 months they charge you twice the balance and your payoff never goes down even after paying months and months. They also lied and said they report to the credit bureau but they no longer do you're paying these high interest rates and it's not even being reported to the credit bureau. Bob's Furniture but they need to cut ties with Acceptance Now.

AcceptanceNow is nothing more than a predatory lender that has no integrity. They have poor customer service, horrible web application, and rely on threatening tactics to deal with customers instead of actually looking at how they can improve their horrible service and service options. Their web site is difficult to navigate, fails to even think about making the customer experience useful, when they try to contact you they call from numbers ATT has listed as spam, dont leave messages, and send threatening, zero context SMS messages. Please see your purchasing solutions from ANYONE beside them. BBB complaint filed

Slow refund

I purchased furniture from Rooms To Go. Furniture was damaged during delivery. I sent it back. Frustrated that I have to wait for a refund and they have the furniture.

Acceptance Now Pt. 2

They never called, but I went back to the branch that I purchased and paid off account and requested a copy of the Certificate of Ownership. They were unable to print, but they wrote on a blank pre-printed certificate: my name, the items purchased, the date it was paid, and the date it was due (showing it was paid prior to the 90 days) and signed. I called Acceptance Now (main office) and told them that I had the Certificate of Ownership. They asked me to take a picture of it and email it to the email provided by representative. It was resolved in less than 3 days.

Purchased furniture in May 2020. The due date to pay off was 8/16/20. Paid off account 8/2/20. Acceptance now withdrew money from my account 10/9/2020. Called the local and corporate office. Local store manager avoided my calls although she took the final payment and reminded me that the account should be closed. District manager did not review account only reviewed what a customer rep reported. My last resort was contacting the Regional manager who has not reviewed the case. Account still showing open and scheduled to withdraw. Last resort is small claims.

Rip Off

This company is a rip off. I'm sorry to say I got got! I will never in my life fall for the okie dokie with this company. I was suspicious when the statement never shows amount paid toward purchase. I have paid three times what I entered into a good faith agreement about. When I pointed this out to the salesperson when I called to inquire how much longer I had to pay on furniture I was told I should have read my contract more closely! I wanted to say go play in traffic and f**&K yourself while your at it!

Don' t do it!

In December 2020, I ordered two bed frames for my daughter and I. Each bed cost 599.99 which equals to $1200. 00, plus delivery we will round this up to $1500. 00 total. After making 11 payments thus far, I Have paid close to $2000. 00 already and somehow still owe $1200. 00. The total cost of our beds will end up being $3367 which is triple the cost. Not to mention, when delivered one of the drawers was broken and the delivery men did not tell me. Instead they taped the broke piece and left without saying a word. This is a scam and they should be closed due to their upcharging none quality furniture. I will never use Bobs again and certainly will NEVER use Acceptance Now. They take advantage of the poor and make getting ahead next to impossible. I have reported them to the BBB. Try facebook marketplace and craigslist over this scam and cheap quality furniture.

I am so shocked at the level of poor customer service and the lack of respect as a customer I have recievd. Even the fact that the manager (District Manager) can't even have the curtsy to return a phone call, the attitude received from the store representative was utterly ridiculous and this is not a post to bash but an actual post that within hopes someone with a heart from your company that has compassion about the customers whom you all actually need to keep your business going, if you didn't realize that the company is based upon our need for help, I hope you see this! I am so disappointed in this company when i honestly needed answers n help
