By the time the card arrived, my son had gone fishing, he lost his cell phone in water. Okay next day replaced and decided to change the number and start anew with different carrier, yadaya. We received the card and attempted to activate, there is a two step, they send you a confirmation code to email, CHECK, then they send a code to your phone? WE NO LONGER HAVE PHONE NOR NUMBER? I have 8 or 10 emails from their reps, for us to log in and follow the steps? We do and ALWAYS THE SECOND CODE GOES TO THE PHONE IN THE LAKE! It doesn't matter to them we can't change a number without the second verification code! It's been a month my gift is no longer a gift CashApp has our $31.00 and they could care less! They have silly folks representing a company that can use every excuse in their silly app!
Also beware of their other tactic, if you use your app to buy fuel at the pump they will place a hold up to $100! Not kidding! My husband's card was used at the pump and a hold of $50, plus amount of purchase was held for two days? Had he had the $100 in the account they would use it! If you end up with this worthless card, it's best to go inside to register and allow the cashier to manually access the card? Which defeats the whole purpose of having the card to use if it's pouring rain, cold or just not wanting to go inside BEWARE OF THE EXTRA CHARGE! HATE THEM!
